[Machine] Regarding the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while traveling, he went to the gathering of Al-Uqah and said, "This young man asked me about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while traveling, so keep in mind that whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ traveled, he would not miss performing two units of prayer until he returned. And he stayed in Makkah for eighteen nights after the conquest, where he would pray two units of prayer with the people. This was narrated by Yunus bin Muhammad with this chain of narration and he added: except for Maghrib prayer. Then he would say, "O people of Makkah, get up and perform two extra units of prayer, for we are travelers." Then he went to Hunayn and Ta'if and he would pray two units of prayer, then he returned to Ji'ranah and performed 'Umrah during Dhu al-Qa'dah. Then I went on a military expedition with Abu Bakr, performed Hajj, and did 'Umrah, and he would pray two units of prayer, as well as 'Umar, who would also pray two units of prayer." Yunus said, except for Maghrib prayer. And 'Uthman also prayed two units of prayer, according to his practice, except for Maghrib prayer. Then 'Uthman prayed four units of prayer after that.

A man who had no other property emancipated six slaves of his at the time of the death. When the Prophet ﷺ was informed about it, he spoke severely of him. He then called them, divided them into three sections, cast lots among them, and emancipated two and kept four in slavery. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3958)

The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) was asked : Is it known who are those who will go to paradise and those who will go to hell? He said : Yes. He asked : Then what is the good of doing anything by those who act? He replied : Everyone is helped to do for which he has been created. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4709)

We were with Messenger of Allah ﷺ in some of his journeys and there was a woman from the Ansar riding a she-camel that it shied and she invoked curse upon that. Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard it and said: Unload that and set it free for it is accursed. 'Imran said: I still perceive that (dromedary) walking amongst people and none taking any notice of that. [Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever hears of the Dajjal (the Antichrist), let him stay far away from him. Whoever hears of the Dajjal, let him stay far away from him. Whoever hears of the Dajjal, let him stay far away from him. For indeed, a man will come to him thinking he is a believer, but he will continue to be influenced by him due to the doubts and confusion he carries with him, until he eventually follows him."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Accept the glad tidings, O people of Tamim." They said, "You have already given us glad tidings, so grant us." He said, "Accept the glad tidings, O people of Yemen." They said, "We have already accepted, so inform us about the beginning of this matter and how it was?" He said, "Allah existed before everything else, and His throne was above the water. He wrote in the Preserved Tablet the remembrance of everything." He said, "And a man came to me and said, 'O Imran, your camel has broken free from its tether.'" He said, "So I went out, and there was a mirage that appeared between me and it." He said, "So I followed in its tracks, but I do not know what happened after me."

[Machine] Indeed, I have a slave who has escaped, and I vowed that if I caught him, I would cut off his hand. He has now arrived at the bridge. [Someone] said, "O Hasan, do not cut off his hand." And [he] narrated to him that a man said to 'Imran bin Husayn, "Indeed, I have a slave who has escaped, and I vowed that if I catch him, I will cut off his hand." [Imran] said, "Do not cut off his hand, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to lead us in prayer or stand among us and he would command us to give in charity and he would forbid us from cutting off hands for such reason."

I went on an expedition with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I was present with him at the conquest. He stayed eighteen days in Mecca and prayed only two rak'ahs (at each time of prayer). And he said: You who live in the town must pray four; we are travellers. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1229)

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is no obedience in disobedience to Allah." Al-Hakam said, "Yes." Then 'Imran exclaimed, "This is great!"
[Machine] I prayed behind Ali ibn Abi Talib a prayer that reminded me of a prayer I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the two caliphs. Then I went and prayed with him, and he would say Allahu Akbar every time he prostrated and every time he raised his head from bowing. So I said, "O Abu Nujayd, who was the first to leave it?" He said, "Uthman ibn Affan left it when his voice became weak and feeble."

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "There was a woman captured by the enemy, and they used to release their camels for grazing in the evening. So she came to the camels and wanted to ride one of them, but every time she approached a camel, it would snort and she would leave it until she came to a female camel. It did not snort, so she rode on it and escaped. She arrived in the city, and when the people saw her, they said, 'This is the camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Adhba.' She said, 'I vowed to sacrifice it because Allah saved me through it.' He (the Prophet ﷺ) said, 'How bad you have rewarded it! There is no vow for the son of Adam in what he does not possess, nor in disobedience to Allah.'"

[Machine] We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey when the verse was revealed: "O people, fear your Lord. Indeed, the convulsion of the [final] Hour is a terrible thing" [Surah Al-Hajj: 1]. Abdullah ibn Ahmad said, "A word came to my father that made him stop, and the people also stopped. He asked, 'Do you know what day this is?' They replied, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' It was revealed to my father that the word that came to him was: 'O Adam, send forth the inhabitants of the Fire.' My father asked, 'What is the inhabitants of the Fire?' It was said, 'Ninety-nine out of every thousand are the inhabitants of the Fire.' Then, they cried. He said, 'Get close and strive to be among the nations, for you are like a black hair on the skin. I hope that you will be one quarter of the people of Paradise. I hope that you will be one-third of the people of Paradise.'"

[Machine] When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed of the death of Al-Najashi, he said: "Indeed, your brother Al-Najashi has passed away, so pray for him." Then he stood up and prayed for him, with the people behind him.
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Your brother has died, so get up and pray for him."' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1946)
"It was said: 'O Messenger of Allah, so and so never broke his fast, even for one day for the rest of his life.' He said: 'He has neither fasted nor broken his fast."" 'Ata said: "someone who heard him told me that Ibn 'Umar (said) that the Prophet said: 'Whoever fasts every day of his life, then he has not fasted." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2379)
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, I did not repeat a story for two consecutive days. However, I would sometimes hesitate and dislike it if men from the companions of Muhammad ﷺ or from some of the companions of Muhammad ﷺ testified to something and I witnessed it just like they did, and heard it just like they did, and they narrated it with different words than what they said. I knew that they did not deviate from goodness, so I feared that they would attribute to me what they attributed to them. Sometimes I would say, "If I were to narrate to you that I heard from the Prophet ﷺ, such and such, I would be truthful," and sometimes I would firmly say, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying such and such." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, Nasr ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal narrated to us, from Abu Harun al-Ghaniwi, who said: Hanit al-A'war narrated to me, from Muttarif, from 'Imran ibn Husayn, who narrated the Hadith similarly to this. So, I related it to my father, and he approved of it and said that there is an addition to it by another man.

Muhammad. He came near him and said: What is the matter with you? Thereupon he (the prisoner) said: Why have you taken me as prisoner and why have you caught hold of one proceeding the pilgrims (the she-camel as she carried the Prophet on her back and walked ahead of the multitude)? He (the Holy Prophet) said: (Yours is a great fault). I (my men) have caught hold of you for the crime of your allies, Banu Thaqif. He (the Holy Prophet) then turned away. He again called him and said: Muhammad, Muhammad, and since Messenger of Allah ﷺ was very compassionate, and tenderhearted, he returned to him, and said: What is the matter with you? He said: I am a Muslim, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Had you said this when you had been the master of yourself, you would have gained every success. He then turned away. He (the prisoner) called him again saying: Muhammad, Muhammad. He came to him and said: What is the matter with you? He said: I am hungry, feed me, and I am thirsty, so provide me with drink. He (the Holy Prophet) said: That is (to satisfy) your want. He was then ransomed for two persons (who had been taken prisoner by Thaqif). He (the narrator) said: A woman of the Ansar had been taken prisoner and also al-Adbi' was caught. The woman had been tied with ropes. The people were giving rest to their animals before their houses. She escaped one night from the bondage and came to the camels. As she drew near the camels, they fretted and fumed and so she left them until she came to al-, Adbi'. It did not fret and fume; it was docile She rode upon its back and drove it away and she went off. When they (the enemies of Islam) were warned of this, they went in search of it, but it (the she-camel) exhausted them. She (the woman) took vow for Allah, that in case He would save her through it, she would offer that as a sacrifice. As she reached Medina, the people saw her and they said: Here is al-Adbi, the she-camel of Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She (the woman) said that she had taken a vow that if Allah would save her on its back, she would sacrifice it. They (the Prophet's Companions) came to Messenger of Allah ﷺ and made a mention of that to him, whereupon he said: Hallowed be Allah, how ill she rewarded it that she took vow to Allah that if He saves her on its back, she would sacrifice it! There is no fulfillment of the vow in an act of disobedience, nor in an act over which a person has no control. In the version of Ibn Hujr (the words are):" There is no vow in disobedience to Allah." (Using translation from Muslim 1641a)

[Machine] To 'Imran: Indeed, I will narrate to you a narration today so that Allah may benefit you with it after today. Know that the best servants of Allah on the Day of Judgment are the praisers. And know that there will always be a group of the people of Islam fighting for the truth, openly showing hostility to those who oppose them, until they fight the Dajjal (the Antichrist). And know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has populated a group of his people during the Ashra (the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah), and no verse was revealed to abrogate that nor was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited from it until he passed away. After he passed away, everything will be according to Allah's will and the choice of every individual after Allah's will.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, or to someone else, "Did you fast the secret fast of this month?" He said, "No." He said, "Then if you have broken your fast, or if the people have broken their fast, then fast for two days."
People will come forth from Hell by Muhammad’s intercession, will enter paradise and be named Jahannamis. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4740)
Once we were traveling with the Prophet ﷺ and we carried on traveling till the last part of the night and then we (halted at a place) and slept (deeply). There is nothing sweeter than sleep for a traveler in the last part of the night. So it was only the heat of the sun that made us to wake up and the first to wake up was so and so, then so and so and then so and so (the narrator ʿAuf said that Abu Raja' had told him their names but he had forgotten them) and the fourth person to wake up was ʿUmar bin Al- Khattab. And whenever the Prophet ﷺ used to sleep, nobody would wake up him till he himself used to get up as we did not know what was happening (being revealed) to him in his sleep. So, ʿUmar got up and saw the condition of the people, and he was a strict man, so he said, "Allahu Akbar" and raised his voice with Takbir, and kept on saying loudly till the Prophet ﷺ got up because of it. When he got up, the people informed him about what had happened to them. He said, "There is no harm (or it will not be harmful). Depart!" So they departed from that place, and after covering some distance the Prophet ﷺ stopped and asked for some water to perform the ablution. So he performed the ablution and the call for the prayer was pronounced and he led the people in prayer. After he finished from the prayer, he saw a man sitting aloof who had not prayed with the people. He asked, "O so and so! What has prevented you from praying with us?" He replied, "I am Junub and there is no water. " The Prophet ﷺ said, "Perform Tayammum with (clean) earth and that is sufficient for you." Then the Prophet ﷺ proceeded on and the people complained to him of thirst. Thereupon he got down and called a person (the narrator ʿAuf added that Abu Raja' had named him but he had forgotten) and ʿAli, and ordered them to go and bring water. So they went in search of water and met a woman who was sitting on her camel between two bags of water. They asked, "Where can we find water?" She replied, "I was there (at the place of water) this hour yesterday and my people are behind me." They requested her to accompany them. She asked, "Where?" They said, "To Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." She said, "Do you mean the man who is called the Sabi, (with a new religion)?" They replied, "Yes, the same person. So come along." They brought her to the Prophet ﷺ and narrated the whole story. He said, "Help her to dismount." The Prophet ﷺ asked for a pot, then he opened the mouths of the bags and poured some water into the pot. Then he closed the big openings of the bags and opened the small ones and the people were called upon to drink and water their animals. So they all watered their animals and they (too) all quenched their thirst and also gave water to others and last of all the Prophet ﷺ gave a pot full of water to the person who was Junub and told him to pour it over his body. The woman was standing and watching all that which they were doing with her water. By Allah, when her water bags were returned the looked like as if they were more full (of water) than they had been before (Miracle of Messenger of Allah ﷺ) Then the Prophet ﷺ ordered us to collect something for her; so dates, flour and Sawiq were collected which amounted to a good meal that was put in a piece of cloth. She was helped to ride on her camel and that cloth full of foodstuff was also placed in front of her and then the Prophet ﷺ said to her, "We have not taken your water but Allah has given water to us." She returned home late. Her relatives asked her: "O so and so what has delayed you?" She said, "A strange thing! Two men met me and took me to the man who is called the Sabi' and he did such and such a thing. By Allah, he is either the greatest magician between this and this (gesturing with her index and middle fingers raising them towards the sky indicating the heaven and the earth) or he is Allah's true Apostle." Afterwards the Muslims used to attack the pagans around her abode but never touched her village. One day she said to her people, "I think that these people leave you purposely. Have you got any inclination to Islam?" They obeyed her and all of them embraced Islam. Abu ʿAbdullah said: The word Saba'a means "The one who has deserted his old religion and embraced a new religion." Abul 'Ailya [??] said, "The SʿAbis are a sect of people of the Scripture who recite the Book of Psalms." (Using translation from Bukhārī 344)

‘Imran b. Hussain asked the prophet ﷺ about the prayer a man offers in sitting condition. He replied: his prayer in standing condition is better than his prayer in sitting condition, and his prayer in sitting condition is half the prayer he offers in standing condition, and his prayer in lying condition is half the prayer he offers in sitting condition. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 951)

[Machine] "A man bit another man's hand and the hand was severed, and it caused a deformation or deformations. So the injured man came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said, 'Would one of you bite his brother as a male camel bites, and there is no recompense for you?'"
"We were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey when some of his Companions fell behind. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his voice reciting these two Ayat: "O mankind! Have Taqwa of your Lord! Verily the earthquake of the hour is a terrible thing..." up to His saying: but Allah's torment is severe (21:1 & 2)." When his Companions heard that, they hastened to catch up with him, since they knew that he had something to say. He ﷺ said: 'Do you know what Day this is? That is the Day when Adam will be called. His Lord will call him and say: O Adam, send forth those who are to be sent to the Fire. He will say: O Lord! How many are to be sent to the Fire? He will say: From every one-thousand there are nine-hundred and ninety-nine for the Fire and one for Paradise. So the people despaired as if they would not smile again. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw the state of his Companions, he said: 'Strive hard and receive the good news. By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, you will be counted with two creations who are immense in numbers; Ya'juj and Ma'juj, and those who have died among the progeny of Adam and the progeny of Iblis.'" He said: "So some of the people's grief went away, and he ﷺ said: 'Strive hard and receive the good news. By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad! Among mankind, you are but like the mole on the flank of a camel, or a mark on the foreleg of a beast.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3169)

Allah's Apostle, I have done something for which (prescribed punishment) must be imposed upon me, so impose that. Allah's Apostle ﷺ called her master and said: Treat her well, and when she delivers bring her to me. He did accordingly. Then Allah's Apostle ﷺ pronounced judgment about her and her clothes were tied around her and then he commanded and she was stoned to death. He then prayed over her (dead body). Thereupon Umar said to him: Allah's Apostle, you offer prayer for her, whereas she had committed adultery! Thereupon he said: She has made such a repentance that if it were to be divided among seventy men of Medina, it would be enough. Have you found any repentance better than this that she sacr ficed her life for Allah, the Majestic? (Using translation from Muslim 1696a)
