[Machine] "I was a man with many illnesses, so I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about praying while sitting. He said that your prayer while sitting is equivalent to half of your prayer while standing, and the prayer of a person while lying down is equivalent to half of their prayer while sitting."

أحمد:١٩٨٨٧ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الْخَفَّافُ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ قَالَ وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ

كُنْتُ رَجُلًا ذَا أَسَقَامٍ كَثِيرَةٍ فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَلَاتِي قَاعِدًا قَالَ صَلَاتُكَ قَاعِدًا عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاتِكَ قَائِمًا وَصَلَاةُ الرَّجُلِ مُضْطَجِعًا عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ قَاعِدًا

‘Imran b. Hussain asked the prophet ﷺ about the prayer a man offers in sitting condition. He replied: his prayer in standing condition is better than his prayer in sitting condition, and his prayer in sitting condition is half the prayer he offers in standing condition, and his prayer in lying condition is half the prayer he offers in sitting condition. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 951)

[Machine] He asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he was a well-off man about praying while sitting. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The prayer of the sitting person is half of the prayer of the standing one, and the prayer of the person lying down is half of the prayer of the sitting one."

الطبراني:١٥٧٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ثنا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْبِرَكِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ثنا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ

أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ رَجُلًا مَيْسُورًا عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَاعِدِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «صَلَاةُ الْقَاعِدِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَائِمِ وَصَلَاةُ النَّائِمِ عَلَى النِّصْفِ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَاعِدِ»
