It is narrated on the authority of 'Uthman that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said. He who died knowing (fully well) that there is no god but Allah entered Paradise.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

When he( the imam) recites the Qur’an, keep silence(and listen attentively). And in the tashahhud this version adds after the words “I testify that there is no god but Allah” the words “He is alone, and there is no associate of Him.” Abu Dawud said: His word "And keep silence" is not guarded; it has been narrated by Sulaiman al-Taimi alone in his version.

أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ زَادَ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever's last words are 'There is no god but Allah' will enter Paradise."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلاَمِهِ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ».

“Whoever dies knowing that there is no god but Allah will enter Paradise.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

“Whoever dies knowing that there is no God but Allah will enter Paradise.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

“Whoever dies knowing that there is no God but Allah will enter Paradise.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 498)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ اعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

“Whoever dies knowing that there is no god but Allah will enter Paradise.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 464)

سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ لُقِّنَ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

[AI] "For me, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has the keys to paradise: witnessing that there is no god but Allah."

لِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَفَاتِيحُ الْجَنَّةِ شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone's last words are "There is no god but Allah" he will enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3116)

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me and said, "Call upon the people, whoever says, 'There is no deity except Allah', will enter Paradise."

بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «نَادِ فِي النَّاسِ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever bears witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah sincerely from their heart will enter paradise."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُخْلِصًا مِنْ قَلْبِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

“Whoever dies knowing that there is no god but Allah will enter Paradise.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 464)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

عَنِ النَّبِي ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ قال لا إله إلا الله دخل الجنة

[AI] "He said, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to give glad tidings to the people that whoever testifies that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, will have Paradise.'"

أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَرْسَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُبَشِّرُ النَّاسَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنَّ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

“Whoever dies knowing that there is no God but Allah will enter Paradise.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 498)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is taught to utter the Shahada (testimony of faith) before death enters Paradise."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ لُقِّنَ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ شَهَادَةَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

[AI] "To narrate to you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , he said, 'Whoever dies with the belief in his heart that there is no god but Allah, will enter Paradise.'"

أَنْ تَتَّكِلُوا حَدَّثْتُكُمْ حَدِيثًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ مَاتَ وَفِي قَلْبِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُوقِنًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever bears witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah sincerely from their heart, will enter Paradise."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ مُخْلِصًا مِنْ قَلْبِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Mu'adh!" I said, "Here I am at your service." He said, "Give glad tidings to the people that whoever says 'There is no god but Allah' will enter Paradise."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا مُعَاذُ» قُلْتُ لَبَّيْكَ قَالَ بَشِّرِ النَّاسَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, with certainty in his heart, will enter Paradise."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ يَرْجِعُ ذَاكُمْ إِلَى قَلْبٍ مُوقِنٍ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone's last words are "There is no god but Allah" he will enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3116)

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever says 'There is no god but Allah' will enter Paradise."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَالَ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

[AI] She heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever says, 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without partners, has written for him such and such a good deed."

أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ كُتِبَ لَهُ كَذَا وَكَذَا حَسَنَةً»

[AI] I bear witness that Abu Zaid ibn Khalid al-Juhani said: I heard him say, "The Messenger of Allah sent me and said to me, 'Give glad tidings to the people that whoever says, 'There is no deity except Allah, alone, without partner, for him is Paradise.'"

أَشْهَدُ عَلَى أَبِي زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ لَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ أَرْسَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لِي بَشِّرِ النَّاسَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ فَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give glad tidings to the people that whoever says 'There is no god but Allah' the Paradise is obligatory for him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَشِّرِ النَّاسَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ

“Whoever dies knowing that there is no god but Allah will enter Paradise.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 464)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَعْلَمُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ» خَالَفَهُمَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ حُمْرَانَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Muadh bin Jabal, "Know that whoever dies while testifying that there is no god but Allah, will enter Jannah (Paradise)."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ «اعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ مَنْ مَاتَ يَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Mu'adh bin Jabal, "Know that whoever testifies that there is no god but Allah will enter paradise."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِمُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ «اعْلَمْ أَنَّ مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»

"أَبْشروا وبَشِّرُوا مَنْ وراءكم: أنَّه مَنْ شَهِدَ أنْ لَّا إلهَ إلَّا اللهُ صَادِقًا دَخَلَ الجَنَّة".

"إذهب فناد في الناس: أنه من شَهِدَ أن لا إله إلا الله مُوقنًا أو مخلصًا فلي الجنة".

"أشهدُ أن لا إِلهَ إِلَّا الله وحْدَهُ لَا شريكَ له، وَأنَّ محمّدًا عبْدُه وَرَسُولُهُ، لا يلْقاهُ بهما أحَدٌ يوْمَ الْقيَامَةِ إِلَّا دَخَلَ الجنَّةَ عَلَى ما كانَ فيهِ".

“Whoever dies knowing that there is no God but Allah will enter Paradise.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 498)

"اعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ من مات يشهدُ أن لا إله إلَّا الله، وأنّى رسولُ الله دَخَل الجَنَّةَ".

"ثَمَنُ الْجَنَّةِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّه".

"مَفَاتِيحُ الجَنَّةِ شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ".

"مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ ثم قال: أَشْهَدُ أَن لا إِله إِلا الله وَأَنَّ محمدًا عَبْدُه ورسُولُهُ قَبْلَ أَن يَتَكَلَّمَ، غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَينَ الوضوءَين".

"مَنْ جَاءَ بِشَهادَةِ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إلا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَنَّ محَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ حُرِّمَ عَلَى النَّارِ".

"مَنْ خُتِمَ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ بلا إِلهَ إِلا اللهُ دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ".

"مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إلا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ، حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيهِ النَارَ".

"مَن شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إلا اللهُ مُخْلِصًا مِنْ قَلبِهِ، دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ".

"مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إلا اللهُ، وَأنِّي رَسُولُ اللهِ فلَنْ تَطعَمَهُ النَّارُ".

"منْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحَافظَ عَلَى صَلاة الْفَجْر، وَلم يَتَنَدَّ بِدَمٍ حَرَامٍ" [أدَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ].

"مَنْ شَهدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ".

"مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، فَهوَ لَهُ نَجَاةٌ".

"مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ مُخْلِصًا، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ".

"مَنْ شَهِدَ أنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وأَنّى رَسُولُ اللهِ مُخْلِصًا بِهمَا، [دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ] (*) وَصَلَّى وَصَامَ، وَأَقَامَ الزَّكَاةَ وَحَجَّ الْبَيتَ، حَرَّمَهُ اللهُ عَلَى النَّارِ".

"مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُخْلِصًا مِن قَلبِهِ، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَم تَمَسَّهُ النَّارُ".

"مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وأَنَ مُحَمدا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ، وآمَنَ بِالْبَعْثِ وَالحِسَابِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ".

"مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إلا اللهُ يُصَدِّقُ قَلبُهُ لسَانَهُ دَخَلَ منْ أَيِّ أَبْوَاب الْجَنَّةِ شَاءَ".

"يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ بَشِّر النَّاسَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ قَالَ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله دَخَلَ الْجَنَّة".
