"Geckos are vermin."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَزَغُ الْفُوَيْسِقُ
"Geckos are vermin."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَزَغُ الْفُوَيْسِقُ
(who was one of the Badr warriors) Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Give me the pledge of allegiance."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ بَايِعُونِي
A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of A'isha through another chain of transmitters.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ بِمِثْلِهِ
The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no ghoul.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ غُولَ
The Prophet ﷺ said: Blood-wit for every wound which lays bare a bone is five camels.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ فِي الْمَوَاضِحِ خَمْسٌ
"'Umra (a gift given for life) belongs to the heir."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْعُمْرَى لِلْوَارِثِ
“The best of shrouds is the Hullah (two-piecer).”
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ خَيْرُ الْكَفَنِ الْحُلَّةُ
It was narrated from Kathir bin ‘Abdullah, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the Takbir five times.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَبَّرَ خَمْسًا
"Aishah told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There is no divorce and no manumission at the time of coercion.' "
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ طَلاَقَ وَلاَ عَتَاقَ فِي إِغْلاَقٍ
the Messenger of Allah said : "There is no divorce regarding that which one does not possess."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ طَلاَقَ فِيمَا لاَ يَمْلِكُ
“Do not forfeit items held in pledge.”
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَغْلَقُ الرَّهْنُ
“Vermin.”
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ الْفُوَيْسِقَةُ
ʿThe child belongs to the (husband or master of the) woman.ʿ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ
"When a funeral procession passed by Ibn Abbas and Hasan ibn Ali, one of them stood up while the other remained seated. The one who stood up said, 'Do you not know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up?' The other replied, 'Yes, and he sat down.'"
أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ وَالْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ مَرَّتْ بِهِمَا جِنَازَةٌ فَقَامَ أَحَدُهُمَا وَجَلَسَ الْآخَرُ فَقَالَ الَّذِي قَامَ أَمَا تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَامَ قَالَ بَلَى وَقَعَدَ
“One fifth is due on buried treasure.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2509)
قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسَ
[AI] And Abu Nuaim said in his narration, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled regarding the fifth of the spoils of war."
وَقَالَ أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ فِي حَدِيثِهِ قَضَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسَ
“Every intoxicant is Khamr (wine) and every Khamr is unlawful.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3390)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ مُسْكِرٍ خَمْرٌ وَكُلُّ خَمْرٍ حَرَامٌ
[AI] And he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did it.
وَقَالَ لِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَنَعَهُ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said five of the animals, so he mentioned something similar.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ خَمْسٌ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ
[AI] The translation of "أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مِثْلَهُ" into English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said something similar."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مِثْلَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا هَامَ لَا هَامَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ يَا بُنَيَّ
“I asked Jabir bin ‘Abdullah about hyenas: ‘Are they game (that can be hunted)?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Can I eat them?’ He said: ‘Yes.’ I said: ‘Is this something that you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?’ He said: ‘Yes.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3236)
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ
“One fifth is due on buried treasure.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2510)
أَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الرِّكَازِ الْخُمُسُ ؟ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ
[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not combine my name and my kunya."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا تَجْمَعُوا اسْمِي وَكُنْيَتِي
There is no Shighar in islam. (Using translation from Muslim 1415d)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The neighbor has the most right to be treated well."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْجَارُ أَحَقُّ بِالْجِوَارِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يَا بِلَالُ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ
There is no element of interest when the money or commodity is exchanged hand to hand. (Using translation from Muslim 1596c)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا رِبَا فِيمَا كَانَ يَدًا بِيَدٍ
"There is no Riba except in credit.' (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4580)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الرِّبَا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ
[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the likes of it."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مِثْلَهُ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ امْسَحُوا عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ
Qays ibn Talq said: Talq ibn Ali visited us on a certain day during Ramadan. He remained with us till evening and broke fast with us. He then stood up and led us in the witr prayer. He then went to his mosque and led them in prayer. When the witr remained, he put forward another man and said: Lead your companions in the witr prayer, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: There are no two witrs during one night. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1439)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا وِتْرَانِ فِي لَيْلَةٍ
The Prophet ﷺ called the Salamander, a mischief-doer. I have not heard him ordering that it should be killed. Saʿd bin Waqqas claims that the Prophet ﷺ ordered that it should be killed. (Using translation from Bukhārī 3306)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ فُوَيْسِقٌ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ
I did not hear that he had commanded to kill them. (Using translation from Muslim 2239)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِلْوَزَغِ فُوَيْسِقٌ قَالَتْ وَلَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْوَزَغُ فُوَيْسِقٌ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd ibn Aslam from Said ibn al-Musayyab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade bartering live animals for meat.
أنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «نَهى عَنْ بَيْعِ الحَيَوانِ بِاللَّحْمِ»
Yahya said, "Malik related to us from Ibn Shihab from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The pledge given as security is not forfeited.' " Malik said, "The explanation of that according to what we think - and Allah knows best - is that a man gives a pledge to somebody in security for something. The pledge is superior to that for which he pawned it. The pledger says to the pawn-broker, 'I will bring you your due, after such-and-such a time. If not, the pledge is yours for what it was pawned for.' " Malik said, "This transaction is not good and it is not halal. This is what was forbidden. If the owner brings what he pledged it for after the period, it is his. I think that the time condition is void."
أنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قالَ: «لا يَغْلَقُ الرَّهْنُ» -[٧٢٩]- قالَ مالِكٌ: «وتَفْسِيرُ ذَلِكَ فِيما نُرى، واللَّهُ أعْلَمُ، أنْ يَرْهَنَ الرَّجُلُ الرَّهْنَ عِنْدَ الرَّجُلِ بِالشَّيْءِ، وفِي الرَّهْنِ فَضْلٌ عَمّا رُهِنَ بِهِ، فَيَقُولُ الرّاهِنُ لِلْمُرْتَهِنِ: إنْ جِئْتُكَ بِحَقِّكَ، إلى أجَلٍ يُسَمِّيهِ لَهُ، وإلّا فالرَّهْنُ لَكَ بِما رُهِنَ فِيهِ» قالَ: «فَهَذا لا يَصْلُحُ ولا يَحِلُّ، وهَذا الَّذِي نُهِيَ عَنْهُ، وإنْ جاءَ صاحِبُهُ بِالَّذِي رَهَنَ بِهِ بَعْدَ الأجَلِ، فَهُوَ لَهُ، وأُرى هَذا الشَّرْطَ مُنْفَسِخًا»
Yahya related to me from Malik from Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini from his father that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no injury nor return of injury."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ ضَرَرَ وَلاَ ضِرَارَ
Messenger of Allah, do not say Amin before me. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 937)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَسْبِقْنِي بِآمِينَ»
[AI] The translation of the given Arabic sentence into English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'A believer is forgiven.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُؤْمِنُ مُكَفَّرٌ»
[AI] "O Messenger of Allah, he said, 'Here I am.'"
يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ «يَا لَبَّيْكَ»
[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for us."
«صَلَّى لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
