[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a man who has intercourse with his wife's slave-girl. He said, "If he dislikes her, then she is a free woman and she has the same right over him as she had over him. And if he is pleased with her, then she is his slave-girl and she has the same right over him as she had over him."

[Machine] "Two men from the tribe of Bani Bakr said: The Prophet ﷺ addressed the people in Mina while sitting on his mount, and we were present beside it. Ibrahim said, 'I do not remember any of his words except that he said while standing by the Jamrah (pillar)."

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ was asked about the man who has sexual intercourse with his wife while she is menstruating. He said, "He should give half a dinar in charity." Abu Abdur Rahman, Hajjaj ibn Artat, is a weak narrator and a deceptive person.

[Machine] About a man who was whipped, is his testimony permissible? They said, yes, if repentance is shown from him. And from Ibn Shihab, that he was asked about a man, if he is whipped (as punishment), is his testimony permissible? He said, yes, if repentance is shown from him. Malik said, and that is the matter with us. Allah the Almighty said, "Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves. For indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful." [Al Imran 89]. So, if the one who is whipped repents and corrects himself, his testimony is allowed.

We asked Hudhaifa to tell us of a person resembling (to some extent) the Prophet ﷺ in good appearance and straight forward behavior so that we may learn from him (good manners and acceptable conduct). Hudhaifa replied, "I do not know anybody resembling the Prophet (to some extent) in appearance and conduct more than Ibn Um ʿAbd.

لِلْمِقْدَادِ سَلْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَدْنُو مِنَ الْمَرْأَةِ فَيُمْذِي فَإِنِّي أَسْتَحْيِي مِنْهُ لِأَنَّ ابْنَتَهُ عِنْدِي فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَغْسِلُ ذَكَرَهُ

It was narrated from a man of Aslam, who was one of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, that they used to pray Maghrib with the Prophet ﷺ,then they would go back to their families in the furthest part of Al-Madinah, shooting arrows and seeing where they landed. Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that Abdullah ibn Abbas and Abdullah ibn Umar were asked about a man who had a free woman as a wife and then wanted to marry a slave-girl. They disapproved that he should combine the two of them.

[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about a man who performs the ritual purification from impurity (ghusl) but some parts of his body remain dry. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He should wash that place and then pray."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Said from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad that A'isha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ said when asked whether it was permissible for a man to marry again a wife he had divorced irrevocably if she had married another man who divorced her before consummating the marriage, "Not until she has tasted the sweetness of intercourse."

that 'Aishah narrated to him that he Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her: "Indeeed Jibril has sent Salam to you." She said: "And upon him be peace and the mercy of Allah and His Blessings."

We saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressing (the people) in the middle of the tashriq days when we were staying near his mount. This is the address of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ which he gave at Mina.

عَنْ رَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ بَنِي بَكْرٍ قَالاَ رَأَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ بَيْنَ أَوْسَطِ أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ وَنَحْنُ عِنْدَ رَاحِلَتِهِ وَهِيَ خُطْبَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الَّتِي

“The Prophet ﷺ was asked about a man who fights to prove his courage, or out of pride and honour for his close relatives, or to show off. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever fights so that the Word of Allah may be supreme is the one who (is fighting) in the cause of Allah.’”

سُئِلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُقَاتِلُ شَجَاعَةً وَيُقَاتِلُ حَمِيَّةً وَيُقَاتِلُ رِيَاءً فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ قَاتَلَ لِتَكُونَ كَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا فَهُوَ

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that a man asked al-Qasim ibn Muhammad and Sulayman ibn Yasar about a man who pronounced dhihar from his wife before he had married her. They said, "If he marries her, he must not touch her until he has done the kaffara for pronouncing dhihar."
