Then he would seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak (Al-Falaq) and seek refuge in the Lord of mankind (An-Nas)."
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِثَلَاثٍ يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى بِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَفِي الثَّانِيَةِ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَفِي الثَّالِثَةِ قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ وقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ»
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform Witr and recite: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High.’, [Al-A’la (87)] ‘Say: O you disbelievers!” [Al-Kafirun (109)] and ‘Say: Allah is One.”. [Al-Ikhlas (112)] (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1171)
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُوتِرُ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكِ الْأَعْلَى وَقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ وَقُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ»
[AI] He used to say, when he recited, "Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High" [Al-A'la 1], he said, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, who created and proportioned." He said, and this is the recitation of Ubayy ibn Ka'b.
أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا قَرَأَ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى 1] قَالَ «سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّى» قَالَ وَهِيَ قِرَاءَةُ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ
ذِكْرُ مَا يُقْرَأُ بِهِ فِي صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ
[AI] "From the Prophet ﷺ , it is narrated that they used to hear from him during noon time a melodious recitation of 'Subhan Rabbi al-A'la' (Glory be to your Lord, the Most High) and 'Has the news of the overwhelming event reached you?'"
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا «يَسْمَعُونَ مِنْهُ فِي الظُّهْرِ النَّغَمَةَ بِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ»
ذِكْرُ وَصْفِ الْوِتْرِ الَّذِي إِذَا أَرَادَ الْمَرْءُ أَوْتَرَ بِهِ
It was narrated from ‘Ali ؓ that The Prophet ﷺ used to pray Witr with three raka’hs (Using translation from Aḥmad 685)

ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ الْوِتْرَ بِالرَّكْعَةِ الْوَاحِدَةِ غَيْرُ جَائِزٍ

Ubayy bin Ka'b said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in Witr: "Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High;" and "Say: O you disbelievers!;' and 'Say: He is Allah, (the) One.' And when he said the salam, he would say: Subhanal-Malikil-Quddus (Glory be to the Sovereign, the Most Holy) three times." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1729)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the Friday prayer: "Glorify the name of your most high Lord" (Surah 87) and Has the story of the overwhelming event reached you? (Surah 88). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1125)

It was narrated from Nu’man bin Bashir that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High,” [Al-A’la (87)] and “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming?” [Al-Ghashiyah (88)] in the ‘Eid prayer. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1281)
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ بِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
