ahmad:18387 – Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > Shuʿbah > Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad from his father > Ḥabīb b. Sālim > al-Nuʿmān b. Bashīr

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he used to recite in the Friday prayer "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the news of the Overwhelming (Event)?". Perhaps the day of Eid and Friday coincided, so he recited these two Surahs.  

أحمد:١٨٣٨٧ – حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍعَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ فَرُبَّمَا اجْتَمَعَ الْعِيدُ وَالْجُمُعَةُ فَقَرَأَ بِهَاتَيْنِ السُّورَتَيْنِ

Reciting Surat al-Aala and Surat al-Ghashiyah in the Eid and Jumuah prayers

the Messenger of Allah in the two Eids used to recite "Glorify The name of Thy Lord, the Most High" (Aala), and "Has there come to you the news of the overwhelming event" (Ghashiyah). And when Eid and Jumuah combined on a day he recited these two in both the prayers.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite on the two 'Eids and on Friday: "GLorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the narration of The Overwhelming?" Sometimes the two ('Eid and Jumu'ah) occurred on the same day, and he would recite them (these two Surahs).

(Al-Ghashiyah 88) in the Jumu'ah prayer, and sometimes 'Eid and Jumu'ah would fall on the same day, and he would recite them in both 'Eid and Jumu'ah prayer."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" (88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers).

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the Friday prayer: "Glorify the name of your most high Lord" (Surah 87) and Has the story of the overwhelming event reached you? (Surah 88).

"For the two Eid and the Friday prayer, the Prophet would recite: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, and Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming? And sometimes they would occur on he same day, so he would recite the two of them."

It was narrated from Abu ‘Inabah Al-Khawlani that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite “Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High” and “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e., the Day of Resurrection)? [Al-A’la (87) and Al-Ghashiyah (88)] on Friday.  

ابن ماجة:١١٢٠ – حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزَّاهِرِيَّةِ عَنْ أَبِي عِنَبَةَ الْخَوْلاَنِيِّ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى} وَ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ}  

ahmad:18383 – Sufyān > Ibrāhīm / Ibn Muḥammad b. al-Muntashiri > Abīh > Ḥabīb b. Sālim from his father > al-Nuʿmān b. Bashīr

The Prophet ﷺ recited "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" (Aala) and "Has there come to you the narration of the Overwhelming?" (Ghashiyah) during the two Eid prayers. If Eid coincided with Friday, he recited both of them.

(88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1122)

«كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ وَالْجُمُعَةِ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ وَرُبَّمَا اجْتَمَعَا فَقَرَأَ بِهِمَا»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High'(Al-A'la 87) and 'Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)?' (Al-Ghashiyah 88) in the Jumu'ah prayer, and sometimes 'Eid and Jumu'ah would fall on the same day, and he would recite them in both 'Eid and Jumu'ah prayer." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1424)

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite in the ‘Eid prayer “Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High.” [Al-A’la (87)] and “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming?” [Al-Ghashiyah (88)] (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1283)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to recite on Friday in the Fajr prayer the verses "Alif Lam Mim. The revelation of the Prostration. Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming?". He would also recite the verse "Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High" (in the Jumu'ah prayer) and "Has the news of the Overwhelming come to you?".
