The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" (88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1122)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite on the two 'Eids and on Friday: "GLorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the narration of The Overwhelming?" Sometimes the two ('Eid and Jumu'ah) occurred on the same day, and he would recite them (these two Surahs).

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" (88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1122)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to recite on Friday in the Fajr prayer the verses "Alif Lam Mim. The revelation of the Prostration. Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming?". He would also recite the verse "Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High" (in the Jumu'ah prayer) and "Has the news of the Overwhelming come to you?".

الطبراني:٦٧٧٧حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ الْحَجَّاجُ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى فِي الْأُولَى وَفِي الثَّانِيَةِ هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ»

It was narrated from Abu ‘Inabah Al-Khawlani that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite “Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High” and “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e., the Day of Resurrection)? [Al-A’la (87) and Al-Ghashiyah (88)] on Friday. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1120)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the Friday prayer: "Glorify the name of your most high Lord" (Surah 87) and Has the story of the overwhelming event reached you? (Surah 88). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1125)

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" (88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1122)

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite 'Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High'(Al-A'la 87) and 'Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)?' (Al-Ghashiyah 88) in the Jumu'ah prayer, and sometimes 'Eid and Jumu'ah would fall on the same day, and he would recite them in both 'Eid and Jumu'ah prayer." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1424)

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا مُوسَى يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى فَقَالَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
