"For the two Eid and the Friday prayer, the Prophet would recite: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, and Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming? And sometimes they would occur on he same day, so he would recite the two of them."  

الترمذي:٥٣٣ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite on the two 'Eids and on Friday: "GLorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the narration of The Overwhelming?" Sometimes the two ('Eid and Jumu'ah) occurred on the same day, and he would recite them (these two Surahs).

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he used to recite in the Friday prayer "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the news of the Overwhelming (Event)?". Perhaps the day of Eid and Friday coincided, so he recited these two Surahs.

الكبرى للنسائي:١٧٥٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ أَنَّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبِي يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ بِ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى 1] وَ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ} [الغاشية 1] وَرُبَّمَا اجْتَمَعَ الْعِيدُ وَالْجُمُعَةُ فَيَقْرَأُ بِهِمَا فِيهِمَا جَمِيعًا  

nasai-kubra:1788 – Muḥammad b. Qudāmah > Jarīr > Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. al-Muntashir from his father > Naʿam > Ḥabīb b. Sālim > al-Nuʿmān b. Bashīr

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite: 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High' and "Has there come to you the narration of The Overwhelming?', on Friday and on 'Eid, and when Friday and 'Eid converged, he would recite them both." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1590)  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٧٨٨ – أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ قُلْتُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْعِيدِ بِ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى 1] وَ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ} [الغاشية 1] فَإِذَا اجْتَمَعَ الْجُمُعَةُ وَالْعِيدُ فِي يَوْمٍ قَرَأَ بِهِمَا  

nasai-kubra:11601 – Qutaybah b. Saʿīd > Abū ʿAwānah > Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. al-Muntashir from his father > Ḥabīb b. Sālim > al-Nuʿmān b. Bashīr

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" (88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1122)   

الكبرى للنسائي:١١٦٠١ – أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ وَيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى 1] وَ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ} [الغاشية 1] وَرُبَّمَا اجْتَمَعَا فِي يَوْمٍ وَاحِدٍ فَقَرَأَهُمَا  

bayhaqi:5726 – Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥāfiẓ And ʾAbū Zakariyyā b. Abū Isḥāq Waʾabū Muḥammad b. Abū Ḥāmid al-Muqriʾ Waʾabū Ṣādiq b. Abū al-Fawāris > Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. ʿAffān > Muḥammad b. ʿUbayd > Misʿar > Maʿbad b. Khālid > Zayd b. ʿUqbah > Samurah b. Jundub

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the Friday prayer: "Glorify the name of your most high Lord" (Surah 87) and Has the story of the overwhelming event reached you? (Surah 88). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1125)   

البيهقي:٥٧٢٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ أَبِي حَامِدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ وَأَبُو صَادِقِ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
