"For the two Eid and the Friday prayer, the Prophet would recite: Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, and Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming? And sometimes they would occur on he same day, so he would recite the two of them."  

الترمذي:٥٣٣ – حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ

Reciting Surat al-Aala and Surat al-Ghashiyah in the Eid and Jumuah prayers

the Messenger of Allah in the two Eids used to recite "Glorify The name of Thy Lord, the Most High" (Aala), and "Has there come to you the news of the overwhelming event" (Ghashiyah). And when Eid and Jumuah combined on a day he recited these two in both the prayers.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite on the two 'Eids and on Friday: "GLorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the narration of The Overwhelming?" Sometimes the two ('Eid and Jumu'ah) occurred on the same day, and he would recite them (these two Surahs).

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he used to recite in the Friday prayer "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the news of the Overwhelming (Event)?". Perhaps the day of Eid and Friday coincided, so he recited these two Surahs.

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite: 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High' and "Has there come to you the narration of The Overwhelming?', on Friday and on 'Eid, and when Friday and 'Eid converged, he would recite them both." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1590)  

الكبرى للنسائي:١٧٨٨ – أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْتَشِرِ قُلْتُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ وَالْعِيدِ بِ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى 1] وَ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ} [الغاشية 1] فَإِذَا اجْتَمَعَ الْجُمُعَةُ وَالْعِيدُ فِي يَوْمٍ قَرَأَ بِهِمَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite at the two 'Ids (festivals) and on Friday, "Glorify the name of your most high Lord." (87) and "Has the story of the overwhelming reached you?" (88) He said: When a festival ('Id) and a Friday coincided, he recited them both (at the two prayers). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1122)

البيهقي:٥٧٢٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ أَبِي حَامِدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ وَأَبُو صَادِقِ بْنُ أَبِي الْفَوَارِسِ قَالُوا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْجُمُعَةِ بِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ
