Al-Bari' b. 'Azib reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed Qunut in the morning and evening (prayers).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْنُتُ فِي الصُّبْحِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ

“Glorify the name of thy Lord, the Most High.” He would say:”Glory be to Allah, the most High”. Abu Dawud said; In this tradition the other narrators have differed from the narrator Wakl. This has been narrated by Wakl, and Shu’bah from Abu Ishaq, from Sa’ld b. Jubair, from Ibn ‘Abbas as his own statement (and not from the Prophet)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا قَرَأَ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى } قَالَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الأَعْلَى

The Prophet ﷺ used to recite in witr and he quoted the same hadith.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُوتِرُ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform Witr and recite: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High.’, [Al-A’la (87)] ‘Say: O you disbelievers!” [Al-Kafirun (109)] and ‘Say: Allah is One.”. [Al-Ikhlas (112)]

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُوتِرُ بِ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الأَعْلَى} وَ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} وَ {قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ}

[AI] "That the prophet ﷺ used to worship fervently in the morning."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقْنُتُ فِي الصُّبْحِ»

Abu Dawud said “I heard Muhammad bin Isa narrating this tradition who said Mu’tamar narrated it to us. And he (Mu’tamar) said “ I heard Al Hakam bin Aban narrating this tradition. He did not mention the name of Ibn ‘Abbas. Abu Dawud said “Al Hussain bin Huraith wrote to me saying “Al Fadl bin Musa narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas to the same effect from the Prophet ﷺ. عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ ح

Abu Dawud said “I heard Muhammad bin Isa narrating this tradition who said Mu’tamar narrated it to us. And he (Mu’tamar) said “ I heard Al Hakam bin Aban narrating this tradition. He did not mention the name of Ibn ‘Abbas. Abu Dawud said “Al Hussain bin Huraith wrote to me saying “Al Fadl bin Musa narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas to the same effect from the Prophet ﷺ. It was narrated from ‘Ali ؓ that The Prophet ﷺ used to pray Witr with three raka’hs

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِثَلاثٍ

[AI] Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to say "Subhan Allahi al-A'la" when he recited "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" (Quran 87:1).

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا قَرَأَ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى

Ibn Abbas used to pray witr with three (units) with (the Surahs): "Glorify the Name of Your Lord, the Most High" (Surah Al-A'la), "Say: O You disbelievers" (Surah Al-Kafirun), and "Say: He is Allah, (the) One" (Surah Al-Ikhlas). (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1703)

Abu Dawud said “I heard Muhammad bin Isa narrating this tradition who said Mu’tamar narrated it to us. And he (Mu’tamar) said “ I heard Al Hakam bin Aban narrating this tradition. He did not mention the name of Ibn ‘Abbas. Abu Dawud said “Al Hussain bin Huraith wrote to me saying “Al Fadl bin Musa narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas to the same effect from the Prophet ﷺ. عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

[AI] "Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that he used to perform the Tawraq prayer (an optional prayer performed after the obligatory night prayer) with recitation of Surah Al-Alaa' (The Most High) in it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to perform the voluntary night prayer (Tahajjud) with the Tasbih (glorification) of the name of your Highest Lord.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى

It was narrated from Abu ‘Inabah Al-Khawlani that the Prophet ﷺ used to recite “Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High” and “Has there come to you the narration of the overwhelming (i.e., the Day of Resurrection)? «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُوتِرُ بِوَاحِدَةٍ»

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform Witr and recite: ‘Glorify the Name of your Lord the Most High.’, [Al-A’la (87)] ‘Say: O you disbelievers!” [Al-Kafirun (109)] and ‘Say: Allah is One.”. [Al-Ikhlas (112)] (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1171)

[AI] That the Prophet ﷺ "had a strong feeling".

Abu Qatada reported on the authority of his father that Allah's Apostle ﷺ forbade breathing in a vessel. (Using translation from Muslim 267d)

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَنَفَّسُ فِي الْإِنَاءِ ثَلَاثًا»

قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ { سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى }

The Apostle of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the noon prayer:" Glorify the name of thy Most High Lord in the morning prayer longer than this" (lxxxvii.) (Using translation from Muslim 460)
