"مَنْ سَرَّهُ إِذَا رَأَتْهُ الرِّجَالُ مُقْبِلًا أَنْ يمْثُلُوا لَهُ قِيامًا فَلْيتَبوأ بَيتًا في النَّارِ".

"عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ: كان اسْمِى عَبْدَ عَمْرٍو، فَتَسَمَّيْتُ حِينَ أَسْلَمْتُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ".

"عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ: كَانَ اسْمِى عَبْدَ عَمْرٍو فَسَمَّانِى رَسُولُ الله ﷺ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ".

"عَنْ سَعِيد بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ: كَانَ اسْمُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ: عَبْدَ عَمْرٍو، فَسَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ".
