"عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بْنِ الزُّبيْرِ قَالَ: كَانَ اسْمُ أَبِى بَكْرِ عَبْدَ الله بْنَ عُثْمَانَ، فَلَمَّا قَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : أَنْتَ عَتِيقُ الله مِنَ النَّارِ، سُمىَ عَتِيقًا".  

أبو نعيم، قال ابن كثير: إسناده جيد
