"عَنْ سَعِيد بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ قَالَ: كَانَ اسْمُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ: عَبْدَ عَمْرٍو، فَسَمَّاهُ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ".
