The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he. was expelled from it.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا

The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created. on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he was expelled from it. And the last hour will take place on no day other than Friday.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا وَلاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلاَّ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ

He heard Abu Hurairah say: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. On this day, Adam, peace be upon him, was created, on this day he was admitted to Paradise, and on this day he was taken out of it.'"

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was expelled (from Paradise), on it his contrition was accepted, on it he died, and on it the Last Hour will take place. On Friday every beast is on the lookout from dawn to sunrise in fear of the Last Hour, but not jinn and men, and it contains a time at which no Muslim prays and asks anything from Allah but He will give it to him. Ka'b said: That is one day every year. So I said: It is on every Friday. Ka'b read the Torah and said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has spoken the truth. AbuHurayrah said: I met Abdullah ibn Salam and told him of my meeting with Ka'b. Abdullah ibn Salam said: I know what time it is. AbuHurayrah said: I asked him to tell me about it. Abdullah ibn Salam said: It is at the very end of Friday. I asked: How can it be when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has said: "No Muslim finds it while he is praying...." and this is the moment when no prayer is offered. Abdullah ibn Salam said: Has the Messenger of Allah ﷺ not said: "If anyone is seated waiting for the prayer, he is engaged in the prayer until he observes it." I said: Yes, it is so.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُهْبِطَ وَفِيهِ تِيبَ عَلَيْهِ وَفِيهِ مَاتَ وَفِيهِ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ إِلاَّ وَهِيَ مُسِيخَةٌ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مِنْ حِينَ تُصْبِحُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ شَفَقًا مِنَ السَّاعَةِ إِلاَّ الْجِنَّ وَالإِنْسَ وَفِيهِ سَاعَةٌ لاَ يُصَادِفُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ حَاجَةً إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهَا قَالَ كَعْبٌ ذَلِكَ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ يَوْمٌ فَقُلْتُ بَلْ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ قَالَ فَقَرَأَ كَعْبٌ التَّوْرَاةَ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ سَلاَمٍ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِمَجْلِسِي مَعَ كَعْبٍ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَيَّةَ سَاعَةٍ هِيَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِهَا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ هِيَ آخِرُ سَاعَةٍ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقُلْتُ كَيْفَ هِيَ آخِرُ سَاعَةٍ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يُصَادِفُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي وَتِلْكَ السَّاعَةُ لاَ يُصَلَّى فِيهَا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ أَلَمْ يَقُلْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَلَسَ مَجْلِسًا يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ فَهُوَ فِي صَلاَةٍ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ هُوَ ذَاكَ

the Prophet said: "The best day that the sun has risen upon is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise, and on it, he was expelled from it. And the Hour will not be established except on Friday."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا وَلاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلاَّ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ أَبِي لُبَابَةَ وَسَلْمَانَ وَأَبِي ذَرٍّ وَسَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ وَأَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn al-Had from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn al-Harith at-Taymi from Abu Salama ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Awf that Abu Hurayra said, "I went out to at-Tur (Mount Sinai) and met Kab al Ahbar and sat with him. He related to me things from the Tawrah and I related to him things from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Among the things I related to him was that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The best of days on which the sun rises is the day of jumua. In it Adam was created, and in it he fell from the Garden. In it he was forgiven, and in it he died. In it the Hour occurs, and every moving thing listens from morning till sunset in apprehension of the Hour except jinn and men. In it is a time when Allah gives toa muslim slave standing in prayer whatever he asks for.' Kab said, 'That is one day in every year.' I said, 'No, in every jumua.' Then Kab recited the Tawrah and said, 'The Messenger of Allah has spoken the truth.' "
Abu Hurayra continued, "I met Basra ibn Abi Basra al-Ghiffari and he said, 'Where have you come from?' I said, 'From at-Tur.' He said, 'If I had seen you before you left, you would not have gone. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Only make a special journey to three mosques: the mosque of the Haram (Makka), this mosque (Madina), and the mosque of Ilya or the Bait al-Maqdis (two names of Jerusalem)." ' " (He was not sure which expression was used.)
Abu Hurayra continued, "Then I met Abdullah ibn Salam and I told him that I had sat with Kabal-Ahbar, and I mentioned what I had related to him about the day of jumua, and told him that Kab had said, 'That is one day in every year.' Abdullah ibn Salam said, 'Kab lied,' and I added, 'Kab then recited the Tawrah and said, "No, it is in every jumua.'' ' Abdullah ibn Salam said, 'Kab spoke the truth. 'Then Abdullah ibn Salam said, 'I know what time that is.' "
Abu Hurayra continued, "I said to him, 'Let me know it - don't keep it from me.' Abdullah ibn Salam said, 'It is the last period of time in the dayof jumua.' "
Abu Hurayra continued, "I said, 'How can it be the last period of time in the day of jumua, when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "a muslim slave standing in prayer", and that is a time when there is no prayer?' Abdullah ibn Salam replied, 'Didn't the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever sits waiting for the prayer is in prayer until he prays?" "'
Abu Hurayra added, "I said, 'Of course.' He said, 'Then it is that.' "

أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ إِلَى الطُّورِ فَلَقِيتُ كَعْبَ الأَحْبَارِ فَجَلَسْتُ مَعَهُ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنِ التَّوْرَاةِ وَحَدَّثْتُهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ فِيمَا حَدَّثْتُهُ أَنْ قُلْتُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُهْبِطَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَفِيهِ تِيبَ عَلَيْهِ وَفِيهِ مَاتَ وَفِيهِ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ إِلاَّ وَهِيَ مُصِيخَةٌ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مِنْ حِينِ تُصْبِحُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ شَفَقًا مِنَ السَّاعَةِ إِلاَّ الْجِنَّ وَالإِنْسَ وَفِيهِ سَاعَةٌ لاَ يُصَادِفُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ قَالَ كَعْبٌ ذَلِكَ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ يَوْمٌ فَقُلْتُ بَلْ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ فَقَرَأَ كَعْبٌ التَّوْرَاةَ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَلَقِيتُ بَصْرَةَ بْنَ أَبِي بَصْرَةَ الْغِفَارِيَّ فَقَالَ مِنْ أَيْنَ أَقْبَلْتَ فَقُلْتُ مِنَ الطُّورِ فَقَالَ لَوْ أَدْرَكْتُكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِ مَا خَرَجْتَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لاَ تُعْمَلُ الْمَطِيُّ إِلاَّ إِلَى ثَلاَثَةِ مَسَاجِدَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِلَى مَسْجِدِي هَذَا وَإِلَى مَسْجِدِ إِيلْيَاءَ أَوْ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ يَشُكُّ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ سَلاَمٍ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِمَجْلِسِي مَعَ كَعْبِ الأَحْبَارِ وَمَا حَدَّثْتُهُ بِهِ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقُلْتُ قَالَ كَعْبٌ ذَلِكَ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ يَوْمٌ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ كَذَبَ كَعْبٌ فَقُلْتُ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ كَعْبٌ التَّوْرَاةَ فَقَالَ بَلْ هِيَ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ صَدَقَ كَعْبٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَيَّةَ سَاعَةٍ هِيَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ أَخْبِرْنِي بِهَا وَلاَ تَضِنَّ عَلَىَّ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ هِيَ آخِرُ سَاعَةٍ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ وَكَيْفَ تَكُونُ آخِرُ سَاعَةٍ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ يُصَادِفُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي وَتِلْكَ السَّاعَةُ سَاعَةٌ لاَ يُصَلَّى فِيهَا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلاَمٍ أَلَمْ يَقُلْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَلَسَ مَجْلِسًا يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلاَةَ فَهُوَ فِي صَلاَةٍ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ فَهُوَ ذَلِكَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خَلَقَ اللهُ آدَمَ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "No day dawns upon this world better than the day of Friday. On this day, Allah guided us and everyone else went astray. For us Muslims, it is a day of gathering and for the Jews it is Saturday, and for the Christians it is Sunday. In it, there is a special hour that no believer encounters while praying and asking Allah ﷻ for something, except that Allah grants it to him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا غَرَبَتْ عَلَى يَوْمٍ خَيْرٍ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ هَدَانَا اللهُ لَهُ وَأَضَلَّ النَّاسَ عَنْهُ فَالنَّاسُ لَنَا فِيهِ تَبَعٌ هُوَ لَنَا وَلِلْيَهُودِ يَوْمُ السَّبْتِ وَلِلنَّصَارَى يَوْمُ الْأَحَدِ إِنَّ فِيهِ لَسَاعَةً لَا يُوَافِقُهَا مُؤْمِنٌ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُاللهَ ﷻ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ

On Friday every beast is on the lookout from dawn to sunrise in fear of the Last Hour, but not jinn and men, and it contains a time at which no Muslim prays and asks anything from Allah but He will give it to him. Ka'b said: That is one day every year. So I said: It is on every Friday. Ka'b read the Torah and said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has spoken the truth. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُهْبِطَ وَفِيهِ تِيبَ عَلَيْهِ وَفِيهِ مَاتَ وَفِيهِ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ إِلَّا وَهِيَ مُصِيخَةٌ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مِنْ حِينِ يُصْبَحُ حَتَّى الشَّمْسَ شَفَقًا مِنَ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ وَفِيهَا سَاعَةٌ لَا يُصَادِفُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ» قَالَ كَعْبٌ ذَلِكَ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ يَوْمٌ؟ فَقُلْتُ بَلْ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ قَالَ فَقَرَأَ كَعْبٌ التَّوْرَاةَ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ سَلَّامٍ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِمَجْلِسِي مَعَ كَعْبٍ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ «قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَيَّةَ سَاعَةٍ هِيَ؟» قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ فَأَخْبَرَنِي بِهَا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ «هِيَ آخِرُ سَاعَةٍ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ» فَقُلْتُ كَيْفَ هِيَ آخِرُ سَاعَةٍ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ؟ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يُصَادِفُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي» وَتِلْكَ السَّاعَةُ لَا يُصَلَّى فِيهَا؟ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ أَلَمْ يَقُلْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ جَلَسَ مَجْلِسًا يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ فَهُوَ فِي صَلَاةٍ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ»

[Machine] I went to Mount Taur and there I met Ka'b al-Ahbar, so I told him about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he spoke about the Torah, and they did not differ until I passed through Friday. I said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "In every Friday, there is a moment where a believer prays and asks Allah for something, and Allah grants it to him." Ka'b asked, "Is this every year?" I said, "No, it is not like that." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, so he returned and recited (the Qur'an), and then said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke the truth, in every Friday." Abu Hurairah said, "Then I met Abdullah ibn Salam, so I told him in my gathering with Ka'b, and he mentioned the Hadith in a similar way to that of Malik."

جِئْتُ الطُّورَ فَلَقِيتُ هُنَاكَ كَعْبَ الْأَحْبَارِ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَحَدَّثَ عَنِ التَّوْرَاةِ فَمَا اخْتَلَفَا حَتَّى مَرَرْتُ بِيَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ قُلْتُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «فِي كُلِّ يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ سَاعَةٌ لَا يُوَافِقُهَا مُؤْمِنٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ» قَالَ كَعْبٌ تِلْكَ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ؟ فَقُلْتُ مَا كَذَلِكَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَرَجَعَ فَتَلَا ثُمَّ قَالَ صَدَقَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ سَلَامٍ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِمَجْلِسِي مَعَ كَعْبٍ «فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوٍ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مَالِكٍ»

[Machine] This is a Hadith from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . It says: "The sun does not rise or set on a day better than Friday. Every creature is in a state of panic on the day of Friday except for these two: jinn and humans."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا تَغْرُبُ عَلَى يَوْمٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ إِلَّا وَهِيَ تَفْزَعُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا هَذَيْنِ الثَّقَلَيْنِ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ»

“The Prophet ﷺ said: ‘Friday is the chief of days, the greatest day before Allah. It is greater before Allah then the Day of Adha and the Day of Fitr. It has five characteristics: On it Allah created Adam; on it Allah sent down Adam to this earth; on it there is a time during which a person does not ask Allah for anything but He will give it to him, so long as he does not ask for anything that is forbidden; on it the Hour will begin. There is no angel who is close to Allah, no heaven, no earth, no wind, no mountain, and no sea that does not fear Friday.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1084)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ سَيِّدُ الْأَيَّامِ وَأَعْظَمُهَا عِنْدَ اللهِ مِنِ يَوْمِ الْأَضْحَى وَيَوْمِ الْفِطْرِ فِيهِ خَمْسُ خِلَالٍ خَلَقَ اللهُ فِيهِ آدَمَ وَأَهْبَطَ اللهُ فِيهِ آدَمَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ وَفِيهِ تَوَفَّى اللهُ آدَمَ وَفِيهِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْعَبْدُ فِيهَا شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ مَا لَمْ يَسْأَلْ حَرَامًا وَفِيهِ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ مَا مِنْ مَلَكٍ مُقَرَّبٍ وَلَا سَمَاءٍ وَلَا أَرْضٍ وَلَا بَحْرٍ إِلَّا وَهُوَ مُشْفِقٌ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ»

The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he was made to enter Paradise, on it he. was expelled from it. (Using translation from Muslim 854a)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا»

[Machine] From the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , I was informed that he said: "The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. On this day, Adam was created, on this day he was descended, on this day repentance was accepted from him, and on this day he died. On this day, the Hour will be established, and there is no creature that does not prostrate on the day of Friday from the time the sun rises until it sets, except for the jinn and mankind. In it, there is an hour when a Muslim slave prays, and asks Allah for good, He will grant it to him." Ka'b said: "That occurs on every year's day." I said: "No, it occurs on every Friday." He recited the passages of the Torah, and said: "The Messenger of Allah spoke the truth." Then he mentioned another narration and said: "Abu Hurairah said: I met Abdullah ibn Salam and I told him what Ka'b had informed me about Friday. He said: Ka’b had lied." I said: "Yes." Ka’b then recited the Torah and said: "Rather, it occurs every Friday." Abdullah ibn Salam said: "Ka'b spoke the truth." Abdullah ibn Salam further said: "I know which hour it is." Abu Hurairah said: "I asked him to inform me about it without making any mistake." Abdullah ibn Salam said: "It is the last hour of Friday." Abu Hurairah said: "How can it be the last hour of Friday when the Messenger of Allah said: 'No Muslim slave who sits in a gathering where he waits for the prayer will perform ablution for it until he prays.'" Abu Hurairah said: "I said: Yes, he said that, but this is the narration of Ibn Bukair, and it is like this."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَانَ فِيمَا حَدَّثْتُهُ أَنْ قُلْتُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُهْبِطَ وَفِيهِ تِيبَ عَلَيْهِ وَفِيهِ مَاتَ وَفِيهِ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ إِلَّا وَهِيَ مُسِيخَةٌ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ مِنْ حِينِ يُصْبِحُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ شَفَقًا مِنَ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنْسَ وَفِيهِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يُصَادِفُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللهُ فِيهَا خَيْرًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهُ اللهُ إِيَّاهُ فَقَالَ كَعْبٌ ذَلِكَ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ يَوْمٌ فَقُلْتُ بَلْ هُوَ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةٍ قَالَ فَقَرَأَ كَعْبُ الْأَحْبَارِ التَّوْرَاةَ فَقَالَ صَدَقَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ حَدِيثًا آخَرَ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ ثُمَّ لَقِيتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ سَلَامٍ فَحَدَّثْتُهُ بِمَجْلِسِي مَعَ كَعْبِ الْأَحْبَارِ وَمَا حَدَّثْتُهُ فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ قَالَ كَعْبٌ ذَلِكَ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ يَوْمٌ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ كَذَبَ كَعْبٌ فَقُلْتُ نَعَمْ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ كَعْبٌ التَّوْرَاةَ فَقَالَ بَلْ هِيَ فِي كُلِّ جُمُعَةِ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ صَدَقَ كَعْبٌ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ أَيَّةَ سَاعَةٍ هِيَ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِهَا وَلَا تَضِنَّنَ فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ هِيَ آخِرُ سَاعَةٍ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ وَكَيْفَ تَكُونُ آخِرُ سَاعَةٍ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُصَادِفُهَا عَبْدٌ مُسْلِمٌ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي وَتِلْكَ سَاعَةٌ لَا يُصَلَّى فِيهَا فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلَامٍ أَلَمْ يَقُلْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَلَسَ مَجْلِسًا يَنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةَ فَهُوَ فِي صَلَاةٍ حَتَّى يُصَلِّيَ قَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ قُلْتُ بَلَى قَالَ هُوَ ذَلِكَ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ بُكَيْرٍ وَكَذَلِكَ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best day on which the sun rises is Friday. Adam was created on this day, and on this day he was admitted to Paradise, and on this day he was expelled from it. The Hour will not be established except on Friday."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ وَفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَفِيهِ أُخْرِجَ مِنْهَا وَلَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلَّا فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ

"خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ عَلَيْهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمُ الجُمُعَة، فيه خُلقَ آدَمُ، وَفِيهِ أُدْخلَ الجَنَّة، وَفِيهِ أُخْرجَ مِنْهَا، وَلَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ إِلَّا في يَومِ الجُمُعَةِ".

"خَيْرُ يَوْمٍ طَلَعَتْ فِيهِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْم الجُمعَة، فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدَمُ، وَفِيهِ أُهْبِطَ، وَفِيهِ تيبَ عَلَيْهِ، وَفِيهِ قُبِضَ، وَفِيهِ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ، مَا عَلَى الأَرْضِ مِنْ دَابَّة إِلَّا وَهِى تُصْبِحُ يَوْمَ الجُمُعَةِ مُصِيخَةً حَتَّى تَطلُعَ الشَّمْسُ شفَقًا مِنَ السَّاعَةِ، إِلَّا الجِنَّ وَالإِنْسَ -ابْنَ آدَمَ- وَفِيهِ سَاعَةٌ لَا يُصَادِفُهَا عَبْدٌ مُؤْمِنٌ وَهُوَ في الصَّلَاةِ يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطاهُ إِيَّاهُ".

"سيِّدُ الأَيَّامِ عِنْدِ اللهِ يوْمُ الْجُمُعةِ فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدمُ أَبُوكُمْ، وفيهِ دخَلَ الْجنَّةَ، وفِيهِ خَرَجَ، وفِيهِ تَقُومُ الساعةُ".

"سيِّدُ الأَيَّام يوْمُ الْجُمُعة".

"سيِّدُ الأَيَّام يوْمُ الْجُمُعة، فِيهِ خُلِقَ آدمُ، وفِيهِ أُدْخِلَ الْجنَّة، وفِيهِ أُخْرج منْهَا، ولَا تَقُومُ السَّاعةُ إِلَّا يوْمَ الْجُمُعةِ".
