ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَمَّا يَجِبُ عَلَى الْمَرْءِ الْمُسْلِمِ مِنْ تَرْكِ الْقُنُوطِ مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ جَلَّ وَعَلَا مَعَ تَرْكِ الِاتِّكَالِ عَلَى سَعَةِ رَحْمَتِهِ، وَإِنْ كَثُرَتْ أَعْمَالُهُ

ibnhibban:345Abū Khalīfah > al-Qaʿnabī > ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Muḥammad > al-ʿAlāʾ from his father > Abū Hurayrah

“If the believer knew what is with Allah of punishment, none would hope for Paradise, and if the disbeliever knew what is with Allah of mercy, none would despair of (attaining) Paradise.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3542)   

ابن حبّان:٣٤٥أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْعُقُوبَةِ مَا طَمِعَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدٌ وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْكَافِرُ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ مَا قَنَطَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدٌ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If the believer knew what punishment Allah has in store for him, he would not desire Paradise, and if the disbeliever knew what mercy Allah has in store for him, he would not despair of Paradise. Allah has created one hundred units of mercy, and He placed one unit among His creation, and it is by this unit that they show compassion amongst themselves. And it is with Allah that the remaining ninety-nine units of mercy exist."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "If the believer knew what punishment Allah has in store, they would not desire Paradise. [Machine] The Qa'nabi narrated to me that Abdul Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us from Al-Ala'a from his father from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "The believer is jealous (for his faith) and Allah is more jealous (for his worship)."  

ابن حبّان:٢٩٢أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ

[Machine] Narrated by Al-Qa'nabi, who said that Abdul Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Al-Ala' who narrated from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The world is the prison of the believer and the paradise of the disbeliever."

[Machine] This is a Hadith from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . It says: "The sun does not rise or set on a day better than Friday. Every creature is in a state of panic on the day of Friday except for these two: jinn and humans."  

ابن حبّان:٢٧٧٠أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا تَغْرُبُ عَلَى يَوْمٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ إِلَّا وَهِيَ تَفْزَعُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا هَذَيْنِ الثَّقَلَيْنِ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ»

[Machine] Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who initiates the argument bears the burden of proof as long as the oppressed person does not transgress."  

ابن حبّان:٥٧٢٨أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ قَالَ

ذِكْرُ نَفْيِ اجْتِمَاعِ الْقَاتِلِ الْمُسْلِمِ وَالْكَافِرِ فِي النَّارِ عَلَى سَبِيلِ الْخُلُودِ

[Machine] We were informed by Al-Qa'nabi, who was informed by Abdul-Aziz ibn Muhammad, who heard it from Al-Ala, who heard it from his father, who heard it from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The disbeliever and his killer will never be united in the Fire."  

ابن حبّان:٤٦٦٥أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ
