Abu Huraira reported Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying. Allah fixed the very portion of adultery which a man will indulge in. There would be no escape from it. The adultery of the eye is the lustful look and the adultery of the ears is listening to voluptuous (song or talk) and the adultery of the tongue is licentious speech and the adultery of the hand is the lustful grip (embrace) and the adultery of the feet is to walk (to the place) where he intends to commit adultery and the heart yearns and desires which he may or may not put into effect.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كُتِبَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ نَصِيبُهُ مِنَ الزِّنَى مُدْرِكٌ ذَلِكَ لاَ مَحَالَةَ فَالْعَيْنَانِ زِنَاهُمَا النَّظَرُ وَالأُذُنَانِ زِنَاهُمَا الاِسْتِمَاعُ وَاللِّسَانُ زِنَاهُ الْكَلاَمُ وَالْيَدُ زِنَاهَا الْبَطْشُ وَالرِّجْلُ زِنَاهَا الْخُطَا وَالْقَلْبُ يَهْوَى وَيَتَمَنَّى وَيُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ الْفَرْجُ وَيُكَذِّبُهُ

Abu Hurairah reported the Prophet ﷺ as saying “ Every child of Adam has his share in adultery. He then narrated the rest of the tradition. This version goes “And the hands commit adultery; their adultery is catching; and the legs commit adultery; their adultery is walking; and the mouth commits adultery – its adultery is kissing.”

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ ابْنِ آدَمَ حَظُّهُ مِنَ الزِّنَا بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ قَالَ وَالْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ فَزِنَاهُمَا الْبَطْشُ وَالرِّجْلاَنِ تَزْنِيَانِ فَزِنَاهُمَا الْمَشْىُ وَالْفَمُ يَزْنِي فَزِنَاهُ الْقُبَلُ

from the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "The two eyes commit adultery, the two hands commit adultery, the two legs commit adultery, and private parts commit adultery."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «الْعَيْنَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالرِّجْلَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالْفَرْجُ يَزْنِي۔»

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "The life of this world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَجَنَّةُ الْكَافِرِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Every son of Adam has a share of adultery. The eyes commit adultery by looking, and their adultery is the glance. The hands commit adultery by touching, and their adultery is the grip. The feet commit adultery by walking, and their adultery is the stride. The mouth commits adultery by speaking, and their adultery is the kiss. The heart desires and longs, and the private part confirms or denies that."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لِكُلِّ بَنِي آدَمَ حَظٌّ مِنَ الزِّنَا فَالْعَيْنَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَزِنَاهُمَا النَّظَرُ وَالْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَزِنَاهُمَا الْبَطْشُ وَالرِّجْلَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَزِنَاهُمَا الْمَشْيُ وَالْفَمُ يَزْنِي وَزِنَاهُ الْقُبَلُ وَالْقَلْبُ يَهْوَى وَيَتَمَنَّى وَالْفَرْجُ يُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ أَوْ يُكَذِّبُهُ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The eyes commit adultery, the hands commit adultery, and the private parts confirm or deny it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْعَيْنَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالْفَرْجُ يُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ أَوْ يُكَذِّبُهُ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The disbeliever and his killer from among the Muslims will never be united in Hell."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَجْتَمِعُ الْكَافِرُ وَقَاتِلُهُ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي النَّارِ أَبَدًا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The eyes commit adultery, the tongue commits adultery, the hands commit adultery, and the feet commit adultery. It either verifies this or denies it."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الْعَيْنَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَاللِّسَانُ يَزْنِي وَالْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالرِّجْلَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ يُحَقِّقُ ذَلِكَ الْفَرْجُ أَوْ يُكَذِّبُهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْعَيْنَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَاللِّسَانُ يَزْنِي وَالْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالرِّجْلَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَيُحَقِّقُ ذَلِكَ أَوْيُكَذِّبُهُ الْفَرْجُ

Abu Hurairah reported the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “An infidel and the one who killed him will never be brought together in Hell.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2495)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَجْتَمِعُ كَافِرٌ وَقَاتِلُهُ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي النَّارِ أَبَدًا

[AI] About the Prophet, ﷺ , the believer is jealous and, by Allah, he is more jealous.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْمُؤْمِنُ يَغَارُ وَاللهُ أَشَدُّ غَيْرًا

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ: "The world is the prison of the believer and the paradise of the disbeliever."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَجَنَّةُ الْكَافِرِ

when two men abuse one another, what they say is laid to the charge of the one who began it, so long as the one who is wronged does not go over the score. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4894)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمُسْتَبَّانِ مَا قَالَا فَعَلَى الْبَادِئِ مَا لَمْ يَعْتَدِ الْمَظْلُومُ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "The one who engages in conflict is not to be blamed until the oppressed person initiates aggression."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْمُسْتَبَّانِ مَا قَالَا عَلَى الْبَادِئِ حَتَّى يَعْتَدِيَ الْمَظْلُومُ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "The eyes commit adultery, the hands commit adultery, and the feet commit adultery, and it confirms or denies that."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْعَيْنَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالرِّجْلَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَيُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ أَوْ يُكَذِّبُهُ الْفَرْجُ

[AI] The Qa'nabi narrated to me that Abdul Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us from Al-Ala'a from his father from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "The believer is jealous (for his faith) and Allah is more jealous (for his worship)."

حَدَّثَنِي الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُؤْمِنُ يَغَارُ وَاللَّهُ أَشَدُّ غَيْرَةً»

“If the believer knew what is with Allah of punishment, none would hope for Paradise, and if the disbeliever knew what is with Allah of mercy, none would despair of (attaining) Paradise.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3542)

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْمُؤْمِنُ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْعُقُوبَةِ مَا طَمِعَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدٌ وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُ الْكَافِرُ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ مَا قَنَطَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ أَحَدٌ»

[AI] Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "Shall I not inform you about the best of you in terms of faith? It is the one from whom goodness is expected and harm is feared. And shall I not inform you about the worst of you in terms of faith? It is the one from whom goodness is not expected and harm is not feared."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِكُمْ مِنْ شَرِّكُمْ؟ » فقَالَ رَجُلٌ بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ «خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ يُرْجَى خَيْرُهُ وَيُؤْمَنُ شَرُّهُ وَشَرُّكُمْ مَنْ لَا يُرْجَى خَيْرُهُ وَلَا يُؤْمَنُ شَرُّهُ»

[AI] Narrated by Al-Qa'nabi, who said that Abdul Aziz ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Al-Ala' who narrated from his father, from Abu Hurairah, who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The world is the prison of the believer and the paradise of the disbeliever."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الدُّنْيَا سِجْنُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَجَنَّةُ الْكَافِرِ»

[AI] Narrated by Al-Qa'nabi, who said: Abdulaziz bin Muhammad reported to us from Al-Ala'a, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily heat is a breeze from the hellfire, so cool it off with prayer."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْحَرَّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ فَأَبْرِدُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ»

[AI] The translation is as follows: "Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, 'The best rows for men to offer the Salah (prayer) are the first rows, and the worst ones are the last ones. The best rows for women to offer the Salah are the last ones, and the worst ones are the first ones.'"

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَحْسِنُوا إِقَامَةَ الصُّفُوفِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ الْقَوْمِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ أَوَّلُهَا وَشَرُّهَا آخِرُهَا وَخَيْرُ صُفُوفِ النِّسَاءِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ آخِرُهَا وَشَرُّهَا أَوَّلُهَا»

[AI] This is a Hadith from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . It says: "The sun does not rise or set on a day better than Friday. Every creature is in a state of panic on the day of Friday except for these two: jinn and humans."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَطْلُعُ الشَّمْسُ وَلَا تَغْرُبُ عَلَى يَوْمٍ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ إِلَّا وَهِيَ تَفْزَعُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا هَذَيْنِ الثَّقَلَيْنِ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ»

[AI] We were informed by Al-Qa'nabi, who was informed by Abdul-Aziz ibn Muhammad, who heard it from Al-Ala, who heard it from his father, who heard it from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The disbeliever and his killer will never be united in the Fire."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَجْتَمِعُ الْكَافِرُ وَقَاتِلُهُ فِي النَّارِ أَبَدًا»

[AI] Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who initiates the argument bears the burden of proof as long as the oppressed person does not transgress."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُسْتَبَّانِ مَا قَالَا فَعَلَى الْبَادِئِ مِنْهُمَا مَا لَمْ يَعْتَدِ الْمَظْلُومُ»

[AI] Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no transmission of diseases, no superstitious beliefs, no transference of suffering, and no bad omens."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا عَدْوَى وَلَا هَامَةَ وَلَا صَفَرَ وَلَا نَوْءَ»

[AI] Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hasten to perform good deeds before a time comes upon you like the dark night. During that time, a person will be a believer in the morning and a disbeliever in the evening, or he will be a believer in the evening and a disbeliever in the morning. He will sell his religion for worldly gains."

حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «بَادِرُوا بِالْأَعْمَالِ فِتَنًا كَقِطَعِ اللَّيْلِ الْمُظْلِمِ يُصْبِحُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا مُؤْمِنًا وَيُمْسِي كَافِرًا وَيُصْبِحُ كَافِرًا وَيُمْسِي مُؤْمِنًا يَبِيعُ دِينَهُ بِعَرَضٍ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا»

قال العينان تزنيان واللسان يزني ويحق ذلك الفرج أو يكذبه

عَن رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ؛ أَنَّه قال على كل نفس من بني آدم كتب حظه من الزنا أدرك ذلك لا محالة فالعين زناها النظر والأذن زناها الاستماع واليد زناها البطش والرجل زناها المشي واللسان زناه الكلام والقلب يهم ويتمنى ويصدق ذلك الفرج أو يكذبه

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The eyes commit adultery, and the hands commit adultery, and the feet commit adultery."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْعَيْنَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَالرِّجْلَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "For every son of Adam, there is a share of zina. The eyes commit zina through their gaze, and their zina is looking. The hands commit zina through their touch, and their zina is grasping. The feet commit zina through their walk, and their zina is walking. The mouth commits zina, and its zina is kissing. The heart desires and wishes, and it either confirms or denies it." Abu Hurairah heard and witnessed this.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِكُلِّ ابْنِ آدَمَ حَظُّهُ مِنَ الزِّنَا فَالْعَيْنَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَزِنَاهُمَا النَّظَرُ وَالْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَزِنَاهُمَا الْبَطْشُ وَالرِّجْلَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ وَزِنَاهُمَا الْمَشْيُ وَالْفَمُ يَزْنِي وَزِنَاهُ الْقُبَلُ وَالْقَلْبُ يَهُمُّ أَوْ يَتَمَنَّى وَيُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ الْفَرْجُ أَوْ يُكَذِّبُهُ شَهِدَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ سَمِعَهُ وَبَصُرَهُ

"الْعَينَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ، والْيَدَان تَزْنِيَانِ، والرِّجْلان تَزْنِيَان، والْفَرْجُ يَزْنِى ".

"علَى كُلِّ نَفسٍ مِن ابنِ آدَمَ كُتب حَظُّ مِن الزِّنَا، أَدْرَكَ ذَلكَ لَا مَحَالةَ، فَالعينُ زِنَاها النَّظَر، والرِّجلُ زِنَاها المَشْيُ، والأُذُنُ زِنَاها الاسْتماعُ واليدُ زِناها البَطشُ، واللِّسَانُ زِناهُ الكَلَامُ، والْقَلْبُ أَو يَتَمَنَّى، ويُصَدِّقُ ذَلِكَ أَو يُكَذِّبَهُ الفرجُ".

"كُتبَ عَلَى ابْنِ آدَمَ نَصِيبُهُ مِنَ الزِّنَا، مُدْرِكٌ ذَلِكَ لَا مَحَالة، فالْعينَان زِنَاهُمَا النَّظَرُ، والأُذُنَان زِنَاهُمَا الاسْتِمَاعُ، واللِّسَانُ زِنَاهُ الْكَلَامُ، وَالْيَدُ زِنَاهَا البَطْشُ، والرِّجْلُ زِنَاهَا الْخُطَى، والْقَلْبُ يَهْوَى ويَتَمَنَّى ويُصَدِّقَ ذَلِكَ الْفَرَجُ ويكَذِّبُهُ".

"لِكُلِّ ابْنِ آدَمَ حَظُّهُ مِن الزِّنا، فَزِنَا العَينَينِ النَّظَرُ، وَزِنَا اللِّسَانِ الْمَنْطِقُ، والأُذُنَانِ زِنَاهُمَا الاسْتِمَاعُ، والْيَدَانِ تَزْنِيَانِ فَزِنَاهُمَا الْبَطشُ، والرِّجْلان تَزْنِيَانِ فَزِناهُمَا الْمَشْيُ، والفَمُ يَزْنِى فَزِنَاهُ القُبَلُ".
