[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, the sin of those who provoke or initiate conflict is not forgiven until the oppressed person exceeds their limits, or unless the oppressed person commits an act of aggression. In such cases, suspicion is magnified.

ذِكْرُ الْبَيَانِ بِأَنَّ الدُّنْيَا إِنَّمَا جُعِلَتْ سِجْنًا لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ لِيَسْتَوْفُوا بِتَرْكِ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ فِي الدُّنْيَا مِنَ الْجِنَانِ فِي الْعُقْبَى

[AI] Narrated Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who initiates the argument bears the burden of proof as long as the oppressed person does not transgress."
