"Abu Talib departed to Ash-Sham, and the Prophet ﷺ left with him, along with some older men from the Quraish. When they came across the monk they stopped there and began setting up their camp, and the monk came out to them. Before that they used to pass by him and he wouldn't come out nor pay attention to them." He said: "They were setting up their camp when the monk was walking amidst them, until he came and took the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he said: 'This is the master of the men and jinn, this is the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds. Allah will raise him as a mercy to the men and jinn.' So some of the older people from the Quraish said: 'What do you know?' He said: 'When you people came along from the road, not a rock nor a tree was left, except that it prostrated, and they do not prostrate except for a Prophet. And I can recognize him by the seal of the Prophethood which is below his shoulder blade, like an apple.' Then he went back, and made them some food, and when he brought it to them, he [the Prophet ﷺ] was tending to the camels. So he said: 'Send for him.' So he came, and there was a cloud over him that was shading him. When he came close to the people, he found that they had beaten him to the tree's shade. So when he sat down, the shade of the tree leaned towards him. He (the monk) said: 'Look at the shade of the tree leaning towards him.'" He said: "So while he was standing over them, telling them not to take him to Rome with him - because if the Romans were to see him, they would recognize him by his description, and they would kill him - he turned, and there were seven people who had come from Rome. So he faced them and said: 'Why have you come?' They said: 'We came because this Prophet is going to appear during this month, and there isn't a road left except that people have been sent to it, and we have been informed of him, and we have been send to this road of yours.' So he said: 'Is there anyone better than you behind you?' They said: 'We only have news of him from this road of yours.' He said: 'Do you think that if there is a matter which Allah wishes to bring about, there is anyone among the people who can turn it away?' They said: 'No.'" He said: "So they gave him their pledge, and they stayed with him. And he said: 'I ask you by Allah, which of you is his guardian?' They said: 'Abu Talib.' So he kept adjuring him until Abu Talib returned him (back to Makkah) and he sent Abu Bakr and Bilal with him. And the monk gave him provisions of Ka'k (a type of bread) and olive oil." bukhari:3861ʿAmr b. ʿAbbās > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Mahdī > al-Muthanná > Abū Jamrah > Ibn ʿAbbās

When Abu Dhar received the news of the Advent of the Prophet ﷺ he said to his brother, "Ride to this valley (of Mecca) and try to find out the truth of the person who claims to be a prophet who is informed of the news of Heaven. Listen to what he says and come back to me." So his brother set out and came to the Prophet ﷺ and listened to some of his talks, and returned to Abu Dhar and said to him. "I have seen him enjoining virtuous behavior and saying something that is not poetry." Abu Dhar said, "You have not satisfied me as to what I wanted." He then took his journey-food and carried a waterskin of his, containing some water till be reached Mecca. He went to the Mosque and searched for the Prophet and though he did not know him, he hated to ask anybody about him. When a part of the night had passed away, ʿAli saw him and knew that he was a stranger. So when Abu Dhar saw ʿAli, he followed him, and none of them asked his companion about anything, and when it was dawn, Abu Dhar took his journey food and his water-skin to the Mosque and stayed there all the day long without being perceived by the Prophet, and when it was evening, he came back to his retiring place. ʿAli passed by him and said, "Has the man not known his dwelling place yet?" So ʿAli awakened him and took him with him and none of them spoke to the other about anything. When it was the third day. ʿAli did the same and Abu Dhar stayed with him. Then ʿAli said "Will you tell me what has brought you here?" Abu Dhar said, "If you give me a firm promise that you will guide me, then I will tell you." ʿAli promised him, and he informed ʿAli about the matter. ʿAli said, "It is true, and he is the Messenger of Allah. Next morning when you get up, accompany me, and if I see any danger for you, I will stop as if to pass water, but if I go on, follow me and enter the place which I will enter." Abu Dhar did so, and followed ʿAli till he entered the place of the Prophet, and Abu Dhar went in with him, Abu Dhar listened to some of the Prophet's talks and embraced Islam on the spot. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Go back to your people and inform them (about it) till you receive my order." Abu Dhar said, "By Him in Whose Hand my life is, I will proclaim my conversion loudly amongst them (i.e. the pagans)." So he went out, and when he reached the Mosque, he said as loudly as possible, "I bear witness that None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah." The People got up and beat him painfully. Then Al-Abbas came and knelt over him ((to protect him) and said (to the people), "Woe to you! Don't you know that this man belongs to the tribe of Ghifar and your trade to Sha'm is through their way?" So he rescued him from them. Abu Dhar again did the same the next day. They beat him and took vengeance on him and again Al-Abbas knelt over him (to protect him).

muslim:2474Ibrāhīm b. Muḥammad b. ʿArʿarah al-Sāmī And Muḥammad b. Ḥātim Wataqārabā Fī Siyāq al-Ḥadīth Wa-al-Lafẓ Ibn Ḥātim > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Mahdī > al-Muthanná b. Saʿīd > Abū Jamrah > Ibn ʿAbbās

Brother, ride in this valley and bring information for me about the person who claims that there comes to him information from the Heavens. Listen to his words and then come to me. So he rode on until he came to Mecca and he heard his words (the sacred words of the Holy Prophet) and then came back to Abu Dharr and said: I have seen him exhorting (people) to develop good morals and his expressions can in no way be termed as poetry. He (Abu Dharr) said: I have not been satisfied with it regarding that which I had in my mind (as I sent you). So he took up provisions for the journey and a small water-skin containing water (and set forth) until he came to Mecca. He came to the mosque (Kaʿbah) and began to look for Allah's Apostle ﷺ and he did not recognize him (the Holy Prophet) and he did not even like that he should ask about him from anyone until it was night, and he slept. ʿAli saw him and found him to be a stranger. So he went with him. He followed him but one did not make any inquiry from the other about anything until it was morning. He then brought the water and his provisions to the mosque and spent a day there, but he did not see Allah's Apostle ﷺ until it was night. He then returned to his bed, and there happened to pass ʿAli and he said: This man has not been able to find his destination until this time. He made him stand and he went with him and no one made an inquiry from his companion about anything. And when it was the third day he did the same. ʿAli made him stand up and brought him along with him. He said: By Him, besides Whom there is no god, why don't you tell me (the reason) which brought you here to this town? He said: (I shall do this) provided you hold me promise and a covenant that you would guide me aright. He then did that. He (ʿAli) said: Verily, he is truthful and he is a Messenger of Allah ﷺ and when it is morning, follow me and if I would say anything from which I would sense fear about you I would stand (in a manner) as if I was throwing water and if I move on, you then follow me until I get in (some house). He did that and I followed him until he came to Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He entered (the house) of Allah's Apostle ﷺ along with him and listened to his words and embraced Islam at this very place. Allah's Apostle ﷺ said to him: Go to your people and inform them until my command reaches you. Thereupon he said: By Him in Whose Hand is my life, I shall say to the people of Mecca this thing at the top of my voice. So he set forth until he came to the mosque and then spoke at the top of his voice (saying): I bear testimony to the fact that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. The people attacked him and made him fall down when al-ʿAbbas came and he leaned over him and said: Woe be upon you, don't you know that he is from amongst the tribe of Ghifar and your trading route to Syria passes through (the settlements of this tribe), and he rescued him. He (Abu Dharr) did the same on the next day and they (the Meccans) again attacked him and al-ʿAbbas leaned upon him and he rescued him.

muslim:2940aʿUbaydullāh b. Muʿādh al-ʿAnbarī from my father > Shuʿbah > al-Nuʿmān b. Sālim

What is this hadith that you narrate that the Last Hour would come at such and such time? Thereupon he said: Hallowed be Allah, there is no god but Allah (or the words to the same effect). I have decided that I would not narrate anything to anyone now. I had only said that you would see after some time an important event that the (sacred) House (Ka'ba) would be burnt and it would happen and definitely happen. He then reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The Dajjal would appear in my Ummah and he would stay (in the world) for forty - I cannot say whether he meant forty days, forty months or forty years. And Allah would then send Jesus son of Mary who would resemble 'Urwa b Mas'ud. He (Jesus Christ) would chase him and kill him. Then people would live for seven years that there would be no rancour between two persons. Then Allah would send cold wind from the side of Syria that none would survive upon the earth having a speck of good in him or faith in him but he would die, so much so that even if some amongst you were to enter the innermost part of the mountain, this wind would reach that place also and that would cause his death. I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Only the wicked people would survive and they would be as careless as birds with the characteristics of beasts. They would never appreciate the good nor condemn evil. Then Satan would come to them in human form and would say: Don't you respond? And they would say: What do you order us? And he would command them to worship the idols but, in spite of this, they would have abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives. Then the trumpet would be blown and no one would hear that but he would bend his neck to one side and raise it from the other side and the first one to hear that trumpet would be the person who would be busy in setting right the tank meant for providing water to the camels. He would swoon and the other people would also swoon, then Allah would send or He would cause to send rain which would be like dew and there would grow out of it the bodies of the people. Then the second trumpet would be blown and they would stand up and begin to look (around). Then it would be said: O people, go to your Lord, and make them stand there. And they would be questioned. Then it would be said: Bring out a group (out of them) for the Hell-Fire. And then it would be asked: How much? It would be said: Nine hundred and ninty-nine out of one thousand for the Hell-Fire and that would be the day which would make the children old because of its terror and that would be the day about which it has been said: "On the day when the shank would be uncovered" (lxviii. 42).

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out in the year of al-Hudaibbiyyah with over ten hundreds of Companions and when he came to Dhu al Hulaifah. He garlanded and marked the sacrificial animals, and entered the sacred state of Umrah. He then went on with the tradition. The Prophet moved on and when he came to the mountain, pass by which one descends (to Mecca) to them, his riding-beast knelt down, and the people said twice: Go on, go on, al-Qaswa has become jaded. The Prophet (May peace be upon him) said: She has not become jaded and that is not a characteristic of hers, but He Who restrained the elephant has restrained her. He then said: By Him in Whose hand my soul is, they will not ask any me good thing by which they honor which God has made sacred without my giving them it. He then urged her and she leaped up and he turned aside from them, and stopped at the farthest side of al-Hudaibiyyah at a pool with little water. Meanwhile Budail bin Warqa al-Khuza’I came, and ‘Urwah bin Mas’ud joined him. He began to speak to the Prophet ﷺ. Whenever he spoke to the Prophet ﷺ, he caught his beard. Al Mughriah bin Shu’bah was standing beside the Prophet ﷺ.He had a sword with him, wearing a helmet. He (Al Mughriah) struck his (‘Urwah’s) hand with the lower end of his sheath, and said: Keep away your hand from his beard. ‘Urwah then raised his hand and asked: Who is this? They replied: Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah. He said: O treacherous one! Did I not use my offices in your treachery? In pre-Islamic days Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah accompanied some people and murdered them, and took their property. He then came (to the Prophet) and embraced Islam. The Prophet ﷺ said: As for Islam we accepted it, but as to the property, as it has been taken by treachery, we have no need of it. He went on with the tradition the Prophet ﷺ said: Write down: This is what Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah, has decided. He then narrated the tradition. Suhail then said: And that a man will not come to you from us, even if he follows your religion, without you sending him back to us. When he finished drawing up the document, the Prophet ﷺ said to his Companions: Get up and sacrifice and then shave. Thereafter some believing women who were immigrants came. (Allah sent down: O yea who believe, when believing women come to you as emigrants). Allah most high forbade them to send them back, but ordered them to restore the dower. He then returned to Medina. Abu Basir a man from the Quraish (who was a Muslim), came to him. And they sent (two men) to look for him; so he handed him over to the two men. They took him away, and when they reached Dhu Al Hulaifah and alighted to eat some dates which they had, Abu Basir said to one of the men : I swear by Allah so-and-so, that I think this sword of yours is a fine one; the other drew the sword and said : Yes I have tried it. Abu Basir said: Let me look at it. He let him have it and he struck him till he died, whereupon the other fled and came to Medina, and running entered the mosque. The Prophet ( may peace be upon him) said: This man has seen something frightful. He said: I swear by Allah that my Companion has been killed, and im as good as dead. Abu Basir then arrived and said: Allah has fulfilled your covenant. You returned me to them, but Allah saved me from them. The Prophet ﷺ said: Woe to his mother, stirrer up of war! Would that he had someone (i.e. some kinsfolk). When he heard that he knew that he would send him back to them, so he went out and came to the seashore. Abu Jandal escaped and joined Abu Basir till a band of them collected.

"The Prophet ﷺ went out during an hour in which he would normally not go out, nor meet with anyone. Then Abu Bakr came to him. So he said:"What brought you O Abu Bakr?" He said: "I came to meet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and to look at his face, and to make sure he was safe. It was not long before 'Umar came. He said: "What has brought you O 'Umar ?" He said: "Hunger O Messenger of Allah!"He said: "I also experienced some of that" So they went to the home of Abu Al-Haitham At-Taiyyihan Al-Ansari. He was a man with many date-palms and sheep, but he had no servants so they did not find him there. They said to his wife: "Where is your companion?" She said: "He has gone to fetch us some good water." It was not long before Abu Al-Haitham came along hauling to a large water-skin which he put down. Then he came to hug the Prophet ﷺ and uttered that his father and mother should be ransomed for him. Then he went to grove of his and he spread out a mat for them. Then he went to a date-palm and returned with a cluster of dates which he put down. The prophet ﷺ said: "Why don't you select some ripe dates for us?" He said: "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! I wanted you to select from the ripe dates and the unripe dates." So they ate and they drank from that water. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul! This is among the favors which you shall be asked about on the Day of Judgement. Cool shade, tasty ripe dates, and cool water." Abu Al-Haitham left to prepare some food for them. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not slaughter one with milk." So he Slaughtered a small female or male goat and brought it to them so they could eat it. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Do you have any servants?" He said: "No." So he said: "Then if we get some captives we shall bring them for you." So (later) the Prophet ﷺ came with 2 males, there was no third among them and he brought them to Abu Al-Haitham. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Choose from them." He said: "O Prophet of Allah! Choose for me." So the Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed the one consulted is entrusted. Take this one for I have seen him praying, and encourage him to do well." So Abu Al-Haitham went to his wife and informed her of what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said. So his wife said: "You will not fulfill what the Prophet ﷺ said until you have freed him." So he said: "He is free." So the Prophet ﷺ said: "Indeed Allah has not send a Prophet nor made a Khalifah except that he has two groups of supporters, group ordering him to do good, and prohibiting him from evil and a group that never ceases spoiling his affairs. So whoever protected."

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Ṣaḥīḥ-Gharīb.

قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ
tirmidhi:3620al-Faḍl b. Sahl Abū al-ʿAbbās al-Aʿraj al-Baghdādī > ʿAbd al-Raḥman b. Ghazwān Abū Nūḥ > Yūnus b. Abū Isḥāq > Abū Bakr b. Abū Mūsá from his father

And the monk gave him provisions of Ka'k (a type of bread) and olive oil."

Abū ʿĪsá said that this Ḥadīth is Ḥasan-Gharīb and we do not know of any other Ḥadīth except through this particular context.

[Machine] I was in the company of my father Talha on the day of Khaybar, and my feet touched the feet of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We came to them when the sun rose, and they had already brought out their cattle and were herding them. They also came out with their weapons and shackles as they passed by. They said, "Muhammad and al-Khamis (the Prophet and his companions)." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allahu Akbar! Khaybar is ruined. When we conquer the land of a people, it is a terrible morning for those who are warned." He said, "Allah has given them a great defeat." He said, "A beautiful young slave girl called Dayyah fell into the hands of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He bought her for seven dinars and then gave her to Umm Sulaim to dress and prepare her. She was the daughter of Huwayy. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed her as his concubine and gave her a diet of dates, barley, and clarified butter. Then the ground was tested with locusts and the meat, dates, and clarified butter were placed on it. The people ate until they were full. They said, "We don't know if he married her or made her the mother of a child." They said, "If he hides her, then she is his wife, and if he does not hide her, then she is the mother of a child." When he wanted to ride, he covered her until she sat on the back of a camel. When they came close to Al-Madinah, his she-camel, called Adba', stumbled. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ muttered to himself, and she muttered to herself. He said, "May Allah distance the Jewess." I said, "O Abu Hamzah, did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ marry her?" He said, "Yes, by Allah, he did marry her, and I witnessed the marriage feast of Zaynab bint Jahsh where the people were given bread and meat. He used to send me to invite the people. When I finished, he stood up, and I followed him. Two men lagged behind and he talked to them. They did not come out until they saw him leave. When they saw him, they stood up and left." He said, "By Allah, I do not know if I mentioned it to him or if the revelation came down to him informing him that they had gone out. He left and I followed him. When he put his foot in the threshold of the door, he drew the curtain between me and him. Then Allah revealed these Ayat: 'O you who believe! Enter not the Prophet's houses until permission is given to you for a meal, (and then) not (so early as) to wait for its preparation.' Until the end of the Ayah."

[Machine] I have seen three things from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that no one before me had seen and no one after me will see. I went with him on a journey until when we were on a certain path, we passed by a woman who had a child with her. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, this child has been afflicted with a harm, and we have been afflicted with harm from him. He seizes us multiple times a day." He said, "Give him to me." So she handed him to him, and he placed him between himself and the saddle of the camel. Then he blew in his mouth three times and said, "In the name of Allah, I am the servant of Allah, get out, O enemy of Allah." Then he returned him to her and said, "We will pass by this place on the return journey, so inform us what the child is like." She said, "We went and returned and found him at that place with three sheep-like animals." He asked, "What did your child do?" She said, "By the One who sent you with the truth, we did not sense any change in him until now." He said, "Gather these sheep together." He then said, "Go to them and tell them that the Messenger of Allah orders both of you to return to your respective places." He said, "I was sitting with him on a certain day when a camel came, making noise and hitting its legs in front of him. Then his eyes shed tears and he said, 'Look at whose camel this is. It has some importance.'" So I went to search for its owner and found it belonged to a man from the Ansar. I called him and he asked, "What is the matter with your camel?" I asked, "What is the matter with it?" He said, "I don’t know, by Allah. We have worked on it and exhausted it to the point that it can no longer be watered. We decided just yesterday to slaughter it and divide its meat among ourselves." He said, "Don’t do that. Give it to me." The man said, "No, it is for you, O Messenger of Allah." So he marked it with the seal of charity and then sent it away.

[Machine] The horses of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived, or he said, the messengers of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived, and I was near a scorpion, so they took my aunt and some people. They brought them to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he ordered them to line up for him. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, the newcomer went away and the baby is gone, and I am an old woman with no one to serve me. So who will show me kindness, as God has shown kindness to you?" He asked her, "Who is your neighbor?" She said, "Adi ibn Hatim." He said, "The one who has run away from God and His Messenger?" She said, "So who will show me kindness?" He said, "When he returned, a man came to him, and we could see that it was Ali. He said, 'Put her on a camel and he asked her.' So she went to him and said, 'You have done something that your father used to do.' He said, 'Did you visit him willingly or as a monastic?' She said, 'Such and such person came to him and got something from him, and such and such person came to him and got something from him.' He said, 'So I came to him, and there was a woman and children with him.' They mentioned their relationship to the Prophet ﷺ , so I knew that he did not have the dominion of Khusra or Caesar. He asked him, 'O Adi ibn Hatim, what has prevented you from saying there is no god but Allah? Is there any god but Allah? What has prevented you from saying Allah is the Greatest? Is there anything greater than Allah?' She said, 'So I have submitted and I saw his face light up, and he said, 'Indeed, the Jews are the ones who have earned wrath, and the Christians are the ones who have gone astray.' Then they asked him to praise Allah, and he praised Him and said, 'As for what follows, you people should submit yourself and lower yourselves from pride, as a person submits with a sa' of dates to another person with a handful of dates. Shu'bah said, 'My most knowledgeable opinion is that he said it is one date with a part of a date.' And verily, one of you will meet Allah, and yet he will say, 'What should I say?' Didn't I make you hearing and seeing? Didn't I give you wealth and children? What did you prepare?' So he will look in front of him, behind him, to his right and to his left, and he will not find anything. So the fire will not touch anyone except with his face. So fear the fire, even with a part of a date. And if you do not find that, then with a gentle word. Indeed, I do not fear poverty for you, for Allah will support you and give you victory, or He will open for you until the camels can walk between Al-Hirah and Yathrib. Indeed, what the thieving fears most is the loss of her property.' Muhammad ibn Ja'far said, 'I heard this from Shu'bah, and I recited it to him.'"

[Machine] He gathered them all that day, and it was nothing but existence until the Day of Resurrection. Then He made them souls, then formed them and gave them the power of speech. And He took from them the covenant and the pledge, and He made them testify upon themselves, "Am I not your Lord?" They said, "Yes, we testify." [This] lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection, "Indeed, we were unaware of this." Or [lest] you say, "It was only that our fathers associated [others in worship] before, and we were but descendants after them. Then would You destroy us for what the falsifiers have done?" [Allah] said, "I swear by Myself, and I bear witness on you all the heavens and the earths, and I bear witness upon your father Adam, 'Am I not your Lord?' They said, 'Yes, we testify.' [This] lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection, 'Indeed, we were unaware of this.' Or lest you should say, 'It was only that our fathers associated [others in worship] before, and we were but descendants after them. Then would You destroy us for what the falsifiers have done?' He said, "Indeed, I bear witness over all of you that I am free from whatever you associate with Me. Indeed, the Messengers will come to you with My reminders and My covenant, and they will present My Books to you." They said, "We bear witness that You are our Lord and our God. You have no Lord besides You, and we have no god besides You." And their father Adam raised them, so He looked at them, and He saw richness and poverty, beauty and otherwise. He said, "My Lord, if You had balanced Your servants." He said, "I love to return the gratitude." And among them were seen prophets like bright lamps. They were given a separate covenant in regards to Prophet-hood and Messengership. This is the saying of Allah, the Exalted, "[And mention] when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah." (33:7) And His saying, "So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah." (30:30) And His saying, "This is a warner of the warners of old." (53:56) And His saying, "And We had not found for most of them any covenant, but indeed, We found most of them defiantly disobedient." (7:102) And His saying, "Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except that they did so seeking the approval of Allah." So they did not observe it with due observance. (57:27) He knew in His knowledge those who would deny what He would affirm and those who would affirm what He would deny. So the soul of 'Isa was among those souls to which the covenant was taken in the time of Adam. And that soul was then sent to Maryam when He said, "Settle in a place of worship wherein the sun does not rise, and you take a veil from them." So We sent to her Our soul, and it manifested to her in the form of a well-built man. (19:17) Until His saying, "A determined appointment." (19:21) She conceived. He, who spoke to her, was the soul of 'Isa, peace be upon him. Abu Ja'far narrated to me that Ar-Rabi' bin Anas narrated to him from Abu Al-'Aliyah from Ubayy bin Ka'b who said, "He entered it."

[Machine] Khuzayah were allies of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and Bani Bakr were a faction from the tribe of Kinanah, allies of Abu Sufyan. There was a period of reconciliation between them during the time of Hudaybiyyah. However, the Bani Bakr tribe became jealous of the Khuzayah tribe during that period and thus sent a message to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking his support. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then sent a representative to assist them during the month of Ramadan. He fasted until he reached Qudayd, and then he broke his fast. He said, "Let the people fast during travel and break their fast. Whoever fasts, his fast is valid, but whoever breaks his fast must make up for it." Allah then granted victory to the Muslims in Makkah, and when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the city, he leaned his back against the Ka'bah and said, "Disarm except for Khuzayah on behalf of Bani Bakr." A man came to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, a man has been killed in a sacred area (Muzdalifah)." He replied, "This place is sacred according to Allah's decree. It was not permissible for anyone who came before me, and it will not be permissible for anyone who comes after me. It was only permissible for me for an hour. It is not permissible for a Muslim to bear arms in it, raise his voice, disturb wild animals, or cut a tree." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, except for the Ithkhar stone? It is part of our houses and graves." He replied, "Except for the Ithkhar stone. The most hostile people to Allah are three: the one who kills in the sacred area, the one who kills without any just cause, and the one who kills to perpetuate the practices of the pre-Islamic period of ignorance." A man stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have slept with a woman from the tribe of so-and-so and she has given birth to a child. Can I take my child back?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Your child is not permissible for you. This is not permissible in Islam. The accused is entitled to a chance to prove her innocence by producing evidence that the child belongs to the owner of the marriage bed. The adulteress should be stoned to death. A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is 'Al-Athlib'?" He replied, "It is the stone. Whoever commits adultery with a woman who is not lawful for him, or with a woman from another tribe, and she gives birth, the child is not his and he does not inherit from him, nor is he inherited from. The believers are equal in their blood, they reciprocate and support one another. The first of them defends the last and the last defends the first. A believer shall not be killed for an unbeliever or for someone on a treaty. Two people from different religions cannot inherit from one another. A woman cannot be married to her paternal or maternal aunt, and she cannot travel without a Mahram. Do not pray after Fajr until the sun rises, and do not pray after Asr until the sun sets."

[Machine] The horses of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or the messengers of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came with a scorpion, so they took my aunt and some people. When they came to him (the Prophet) ﷺ , they made way for him. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, the one who has come has left, the child has been severed, and I am an old woman and I have no one to serve me. So may Allah bless whoever helps me." He said, "Who is your guest?" She said, "Adi ibn Hatim." He said, "Which one fled from Allah and His Messenger?" She said, "So may Allah bless whoever helps me." So when Adi returned, there was a man with him who seemed to be Ali. He said, "Salih, carry her loads." She said, "So I asked him and he ordered a donkey. I said, 'You have done what your father used to do.'" She said, "Go to him as a person in need or as a monk, for so and so came to him and he was affected by him, and so and so came to him and he was affected by him. So I went to him, and there was a woman and children or a child with him. He mentioned their relation to the Prophet ﷺ , so I knew that he was not a king like Khosrau and Caesar. He said, "O Adi, what prevents you from saying 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no god but Allah)? Is there any god other than Allah?" He said, "What prevents you from saying 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the greatest)? Is there anything greater than Allah?" So I embraced Islam, and I saw his face light up and he said, "Indeed, the Jews are those who are cursed, and indeed, the Christians are those who are astray." Then some people came to him and praised Allah, and he praised Him. Then he said, "Now, O people, it is for you to be humble before His grace, as a person humbles himself before a measure of food with a measured handful." Shu'bah said, "And most of what I know is that he said with a date, splitting a date. Indeed, one of you will meet Allah and He will say, 'Did I not make you hearing and seeing? Did I not grant you wealth and children? So what have you brought?' So he will look to his right, left, front, and behind him, but he will not find anything. So he will not fear the Fire except by Allah's face. So fear the Fire, even if it is with half a date. And if you do not find that, then with a good word. Indeed, I do not fear poverty for you, for Allah will help you and give you victory, or He will open up for you until the she-camel enters between two mountains, the fear of which is greater, that Thamud feared."
