The Prophet ﷺ said, "I am more closer to the believers than their own selves, so whoever (of them) dies while being in debt and leaves nothing for its repayment, then we are to pay his debts on his behalf and whoever (among the believers) dies leaving some property, then that property is for his heirs."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَمَنْ مَاتَ وَعَلَيْهِ دَيْنٌ وَلَمْ يَتْرُكْ وَفَاءً فَعَلَيْنَا قَضَاؤُهُ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالاً فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: I am nearer to the believers than themselves, so if anyone leaves property, it goes to his heirs, and if anyone leaves debt and dependants, let the matter come to me and I shall be responsible.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالاً فَلأَهْلِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَإِلَىَّ وَعَلَىَّ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone leaves property, it goes to his heirs. And if anyone leaves dependents (without resources), they come to us.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالاً فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ كَلاًّ فَإِلَيْنَا

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: I am nearer to every believer than himself, and if anyone leaves, it goes to his heirs.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِكُلِّ مُؤْمِنٍ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ فَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ دَيْنًا فَإِلَىَّ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالاً فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ

“Whoever leaves behind money, it is for his heirs, and whoever leaves behind a debt for children, I am nearer to the believers.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالاً فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَعَلَىَّ وَإِلَىَّ وَأَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ مَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَإِلَيَّ وَلَا ضَيَاعَ عَلَيْهِ فَلْيُدْعَ لَهُ وَأَنَا وَلِيُّهُ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِلْعَصَبَةِ مَنْ كَانَ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever leaves behind wealth, it belongs to his family. And whoever leaves behind a debt, it is upon Allah and his Messenger."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِأَهْلِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا فَعَلَى اللهِ وَعَلَى رَسُولِهِ

"Whoever leaves wealth then it is for his heirs, and whoever leaves poor dependents then it (the responsibility) is for me." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2090)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِأَهْلِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا فَإِلَيَّ وَعَلَيَّ»

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ commanded us to free the captives of the Muslims and give to their needy. Then, he said, "Whoever leaves behind wealth, it is for their inheritors, and whoever leaves behind a debt, it is upon me and upon the leaders of the Muslims after me from the Muslim treasury."

أَمَرَنَا نَبِيُّ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَفْدِيَ سَبَايَا الْمُسْلِمِينَ ونُعْطِيَ سَائِلَهُمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ «مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا فَعَلَيَّ وَعَلَى الْوُلَاةِ مِنْ بَعْدِي مِنْ بَيْتِ مَالِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am more entitled to the believers than themselves. So whoever dies and leaves wealth, his wealth is for his heirs, and whoever leaves behind dependents or debt, then I am his guardian, so I shall look after him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ فَمَنْ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ مَالًا فَمَالُهُ لِمَوَالِي الْعَصَبَةِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ كَلًّا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَأَنَا وَلِيُّهُ فَلْأُدْعَى لَهُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَمَالُهُ لِمَوَالِي الْعَصَبَةِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ كَلًّا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَأَنَا وَلِيُّهُ

اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ من ترك كلأ فإلى الله ورسوله ومن ترك مالا فلورثته

"أَنَا أولى بكلِّ مؤْمن من نفسه، فمن ترك دينًا فعلَىَّ، ومن ترك مالًا فلورثته" .

"أَنَا أولى بكل مؤْمن من نفسه، من ترك مالًا فلورثته، ومن ترك دينًا أو ضِيَاعًا فإِلىَّ، أَقضى دينه وأفُكُّ عانيه" .

"أَنَا أَولى بالمؤْمنين من أَنفسهم فمن توفى من المؤمنين فترك دينًا فعلى قضاؤُه، ومن ترك مالًا فهو لورثته" .

"مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلأَهْلِه، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَينًا فَعَلى اللهِ وَعَلَى رَسُولِه".

"مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَرَثَتِه، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا فَعَلَيَّ وَعَلَى الْوُلاة مِنْ بَعْدِى مِنْ بَيتِ مَالِ الْمُسْلِمين".

"عَنْ أنسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : ألَسْتُ أَوْلَى بِكُمْ مِنْ أنفُسِكُمْ؟ قالُوا: بَلَى، قَالَ: مَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا فَعَلَيْنَا، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ كَلا فَإلَيْنَا، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ".

"عَنْ أنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ الله ﷺ : ألَسْتُ أوْلَى بِكُمْ مِنْ أنْفُسِكُمْ؟ قَالُوا: بَلَى، قَالَ: مَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا فَعَليْنَا، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ كَلّا فَإِلَيْنَا، وَمَنْ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلِوَرَثَتِهِ".
