The Prophet ﷺ said, "I am closer to the believers than their selves in this world and in the Hereafter, and if you like, you can read Allah's Statement: "The Prophet ﷺ is closer to the believers than their own selves." (33.6) So, if a true believer dies and leaves behind some property, it will be for his inheritors (from the father's side), and if he leaves behind some debt to be paid or needy offspring, then they should come to me as I am the guardian of the deceased."  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ إِلاَّ وَأَنَا أَوْلَى بِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالآخِرَةِ اقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ {النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ} فَأَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ مَالاً فَلْيَرِثْهُ عَصَبَتُهُ مَنْ كَانُوا وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَلْيَأْتِنِي فَأَنَا مَوْلاَهُ  

The Prophet ﷺ said: I am nearer to the believers than themselves, so if anyone leaves property, it goes to his heirs, and if anyone leaves debt and dependants, let the matter come to me and I shall be responsible.  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ أَنَا أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ مَنْ تَرَكَ مَالاً فَلأَهْلِهِ وَمَنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَإِلَىَّ وَعَلَىَّ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ إِلَّا وَأَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ اقْرَءُوا إِنْ شِئْتُمْ {النَّبِيُّ أَوْلَى بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ} [الأحزاب 6] وَأَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ تَرَكَ مَالًا فَلْيَرِثْهُ عَصَبَتُهُ مَنْ كَانُوا وَإِنْ تَرَكَ دَيْنًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فَلْيَأْتِنِي فَأَنَا مَوْلَاهُ  

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "There is no believer except that I am closer to him in this world and the Hereafter. Read if you wish: 'The Prophet is closer to the believers than their own selves.' (Qur'an, Al-Ahzab 33:6) So whoever leaves behind wealth, it is for his heirs, and whoever leaves behind a debt or loss, then I am his guardian."

"مَا مِن مُؤمِن إِلا وَأَنا أَوْلَى بهِ فِي الدُّنْيا والآخرَة، اقْرَأُوا إِن شِئْتُم: (النَّبي أَوْلَى بالمُؤمِنِين مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِم)، فَأَيُّما مُؤمِنٍ مَاتَ وَتَرَكَ مَالًا فليَرثهُ عَصَبَتُه منْ كَانُوا، وَمن تَرَكَ دَينًا أَوْ ضَيَاعًا فليَأتِنى فَأَنَا مَوْلاه".
