[AI] Allah ﷺ said, "The siwak (tooth-stick) cleanses the mouth and pleases the Lord." Muhammad bin Yahya bin Abi 'Umar narrated it from Ibn 'Uyaynah, from Mas'ar, from Muhammad bin Ishaq, from 'Abdullah bin Abi 'Atiqah, from 'Aishah. Abu Sa'id Sa'id bin Muhammad Ash-Sha'bi informed me, and Abu Muhammad Al-Hasan bin Ahmad bin Salih As-Sabii'iy Al-Hafiz informed me in Baghdad, dictated by his memory. 'Ali bin 'Abdul Hamid and Abu 'Abdul Rahman As-Sulami also informed us. I am Al-Hasan bin 'Ali Al-Hafiz, 'Ali bin 'Abdul Hamid Al-Ghadhayiri from Halab, narrated to us Muhammad bin Yahya bin Abi 'Umar Al-'Adani, Sufyan bin 'Uyaynah narrated from Mas'ar. He mentioned it in a similar manner except that he said Aishah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ , said, "I heard the Shaykh Ibn Abi 'Atiqah, who is 'Abdullah bin Muhammad bin 'Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr As-Siddiq. And Muhammad was known by the nickname of Aba 'Atiq."

[AI] On the authority of a man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ from the tribe of Ghifar, it was mentioned that the Prophet ﷺ prohibited a man from purifying himself with the remnants of a woman's ablution, and so forth.
[AI] The messenger of Allah, ﷺ , returned from relieving himself and met a man by the well of Jamel. He greeted him, but the messenger of Allah, ﷺ , did not respond to him until he reached the wall. He placed his hand on the wall, wiped his face and hands, and then returned the greeting to the man. This narration is a witness to the narration of Muhammad ibn Thabit al-Abdi, except that he included the wiping of the arms, which others did not confirm, like he and Ibn Haddad in mentioning his performing tayammum (dry ablution) and then returning the greeting. Although Dahhak ibn Uthman shortened his actions and Ibn Umar performed tayammum on his face and arms up to the elbows, this is a witness to the authenticity of the narration of Muhammad ibn Thabit without any contradiction, as Abu Abdullah al-Hafidh, Abu Abdullah al-Sulami, and Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Ushnani reported to us, narrating from Abu al-Hasan Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abdus, who heard it from Uthman ibn Sa'eed al-Darimi, who said, "I asked Yahya ibn Ma'een about it, and he said, 'There is no problem with Muhammad ibn Thabit al-Abdi, this is what he said in his narration, which is not deserving of criticism based on the evidence that I mentioned.'"

[AI] That Bilal called the Adhan before the break of dawn, so the Prophet ﷺ commanded him to go back and make the call again, saying, "Indeed, the servant is asleep, indeed, the servant is asleep." Musa ibn Ismail added something to his narration, so he returned and made the call, saying, "Indeed, the servant is asleep." This narration is unique to Hammad bin Salama from Ayyub and it is also narrated from Saeed bin Zarbi from Ayyub, except that Saeed is weak and the narration of Hammad is unique. The narration of Ubaidullah bin Umar from Nafi is more correct than it, and with him is the narration of Zuhri from Salim. Abu Bakr ibn al-Harith al-Faqih informed us, I am Abu Muhammad bin Hayyan, and I am Abu Sheikh, narrated by Abdan, Hudbah, and Talhut who said that Hammad bin Salama mentioned the Hadith similar to the Hadith of Abu Umar al-Dharrir, then Ali bin al-Madinah said that Hammad erred in this Hadith, and the authentic Hadith is the Hadith of Ubaidullah, meaning from Nafi, and the Hadith of Zuhri from Salim. And Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq al-Faqih narrated that I heard Abu Bakr al-Muttariz saying, "I heard Muhammad bin Yahya saying, 'The Hadith of Hammad bin Salama from Ayyub from Nafi from Ibn Umar that Bilal made the Adhan before the break of dawn is deviant and not based on reality.'"

The Sheikh said, this is the statement of Ali bin Abi Talib in the two most authentic narrations from him, and the statement of Ubay bin Ka'b, Abu Ayyub Al-Ansari, Abu Huraira, Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-'As, and one of the two narrations from Ibn 'Umar, and Ibn 'Abbas, and Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, and Aisha, and it was also narrated from Qabisa bin Dhuwib, who is from the Tabi'in, that it is the Maghrib prayer."

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade praying in seven places: the graveyard, the slaughterhouse, the garbage dump, the public bath, the roadside rest area, the back of the Kaaba, and the places where camels are slaughtered. Abu Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Asbahan narrated that Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn al-Hussein al-Qattan narrated from Ali ibn al-Hasan al-Hilali, who narrated from Abdullah ibn Yazid al-Muqri, who narrated from Yahya ibn Ayyub, who mentioned it in a similar way as Zaid ibn Jabir. Abu Sahl al-Mihrawani narrated from Abu al-Hussein Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Hamid, who narrated from Abu Abdullah al-Rawasani, who said, "I heard al-Bukhari say that Zaid ibn Jabirah Abu Jabirah narrated from Dawud ibn al-Husayn, who was known for rejecting weak hadiths, and this hadith was narrated from Abdullah al-Umari, who narrated from Nafi, who narrated from Ibn Umar, who narrated from Umar, who narrated from the Prophet ﷺ . The hadith of Dawud is more similar, and Allah knows best." Abu Isa said, "We have also been narrated from Ibn Abbas, from Usamah ibn Zaid, that the Prophet ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs towards the direction of the Kaaba and said, 'This is the Qiblah.'"

Umar said, 'I swear by Allah, no one should have it except you.' Then Al-Abbas put his feet on Umar's shoulders and then returned it to where it was. It has been narrated from two other sources that Umar and Abbas did this. Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz narrated to us, from Abu Ahmad Al-Hussein Ibn Ali Al-Tamimi, from Muhammad Ibn Al-Musayyib, from Abu Umayr Isa Ibn Muhammad Ibn Al-Nahhas, from Al-Walid Ibn Muslim, from Shuayb Al-Khurasani, from Ata Ibn Rabah, from Saeed Ibn Al-Musayyib, that when Umar Ibn Al-Khattab wanted to expand the Prophet's Mosque, his expansion encroached on the house of Al-Abbas Ibn Abd Al-Muttalib. He mentioned a story in which the umbrella was mentioned in meaning. It was also narrated by Abdul Rahman Ibn Zaid Ibn Aslam, from his father, from his grandfather, from Umar, in meaning. Ibn Uyaynah narrated the same Hadith from Abu Harun Al-Madani, it is disconnected and summarized with some meaning."

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no newborn among the children of Adam except that he is born upon the fitrah (natural disposition), until his parents make him Jewish, Christian, or Magian, just as an animal gives birth to a perfect offspring. Do you find any among them imperfect? Then Abu Hurairah recited: 'The fitrah (natural disposition) of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.'" [Quran 30:30]
