[Machine] Indeed, you speak words that we used to count as hypocrisy during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
[Machine] About Hudhayfah, who was sitting in the middle of the gathering, he said, "May the curse be upon the tongue of the Prophet ﷺ or the tongue of Muhammad ﷺ ."
[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ met him in some of the streets of the city, so he leaned towards him. He said, 'I am in a state of ritual impurity.' He said, 'Indeed, a believer does not become impure.'"
The Prophet ﷺ said: Do not say: "What Allah wills and so and so wills," but say: "What Allah wills and afterwards so and so wills. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4980)
[Machine] Hudhaifah has knowledge of secrets that no one else knows, which he shared with the Prophet Muhammad during the Battle of Badr. They were protected from harm in a way that others were not, and there was no harm that could come to them except what they were already preoccupied with.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , performed the fear prayer in a land of Qard from the land of Bani Sulaym. The people lined up behind him in two rows, with one row equal to the enemy and another row behind him. He prayed one unit with the row behind him, then these people went back to the position of those people, and those people came forward to the position of these people, and he prayed another unit with them.
[Machine] Which of you prayed the prayer of fear with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? He said, "Hudhayfah." Sufyan then described a story similar to the narration of Ibn Abbas and Zaid bin Thabit.
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade drinking from vessels of gold and silver. He said: “They are for them in this world and for you in the Hereafter.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3414)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade (taking hire for) a stallion's covering. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3429)
when the prophet (May peace be upon him) lay down on his bed (at night), he would say: O Allah! In Thy name I die and live. When he awoke, he said: praise be to Allah who has given us life after causing us to die and to whom we shall be resurrected. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5049)
[Machine] The master and Al-'Aqib came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, send your trustworthy person with us." Waki' added: "So the Prophet ﷺ said, 'I will send with you a trustworthy person, a true trustworthy person.' So the people were honored, and Abu 'Ubaidah ibn al-Jarrah was sent."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ met Gabriel while he was at Al-Mirā' Stones, and he said, "Indeed, your Ummah (nation) recites the Quran in seven dialects. So whoever recites it in one dialect, let him recite it as he has learned it and not change it." My father said, and Ibn Mahdi also said, "Indeed, among your Ummah are those who are weak, so whoever recites it in one dialect should not transfer to another dialect out of desire."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and he did not leave anything that will happen until the Day of Judgment except that he mentioned it. Whoever heard him preserved it, and whoever forgot it, forgot it. Hudhaifah said: "Verily, I see things that I have forgotten, but when I am reminded of them, I recognize them just as a man recognizes the face of a man he has been separated from and then sees him again." Waki' said: "One time, I saw him (the Messenger of Allah) and recognized him."
[Machine] I asked the Prophet ﷺ about everything, even wiping stones. He replied, "Only once or leave it be."
"We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ and he said: 'I do not know how long I will be with you, so stick to the two after me,' and he signaled towards Abu Bakr and 'Umar." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3663)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to pray for a man, and his prayer would extend to his son, and his son's son.
[Machine] If a man speaks with a word that was used during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he becomes a hypocrite by it. And indeed, I hear it from one of you today in the gathering ten times.
The Messenger of Allah said: 'I know what the Dajjal will have with him. He will have two flowing rivers, one that appears to the eye to be clear water, and one that appears to the eye to be flaming fire. If anyone sees that, let him go to the river which he thinks is fire and close his eyes, then lower his head and drink from it, for it is cool water. The Dajjal has one blind eye, with a layer of thick skin over it, and between his eyes is written "disbeliever," which every believer will read, whether he is literate or illiterate.' (Using translation from Muslim 2934b)
[Machine] He came from Umar and said, "When we sat with him yesterday, he asked the companions of Muhammad ﷺ , 'Which of you has heard a statement from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about trials?' They said, 'We have heard it.' He said, 'Perhaps you mean the trial of a man with his family and wealth?' They said, 'Yes.' He said, 'I am not asking about that. As for that, prayer, fasting, and charity expiate it. But which of you has heard a statement from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the trials that toss about like waves of the sea?' The people remained silent, and I thought that he was addressing me. So I said, 'I have.' He said, 'You are a father to Allah.' He said, 'The trials are presented to the hearts - just like a reed mat. Any heart that rejects them will have a white spot placed in it, and any heart that agrees to them will have a black spot placed in it. Until the heart becomes like two white hearts, neither trial will harm it as long as the heavens and the earth remain. And the latter will be black and murky, like a boiling cauldron. And it will be filled with hopes, not knowing the good or rejecting the evil, except for what it has been made to drink from its whims.'"
Messenger of Allah ﷺ informed me of what is going to happen before the approach of the Last Hour. And there is nothing that I did not ask him in this connection except this that I did not ask him as to what would turn the people of Medina out from Medina. (Using translation from Muslim 2891d)
[Machine] I visited Al-Yashkuri in a village of Bani Layth. He asked, "Who are you people?" We replied, "We are from Bani Layth." He then asked us, and we asked him, "We have come to ask you about the narration of Hudhayfah." He said, "I went with Abu Musa on a caravan, and the animals stopped in Kufa. So I sought permission for me and my companion, and we were granted permission. We arrived in Kufa early in the morning. I told my companion, 'I will enter the mosque, and when the market opens, I will meet you there.' I entered the mosque and found a group sitting as if beheaded, listening to a man speaking. I climbed over them, and a man approached me from the side. I asked, 'Who is this?' He said, 'You are Basri.' I said, 'Yes.' He said, 'If you were from Kufa, you wouldn't have asked about this. This is Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman.' So I approached him and listened as he said, 'People used to ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about good, while I used to ask him about evil. I knew that I would never beat him in asking him about good, so I said, "O Messenger of Allah, is there any evil after this good?" He said, "Yes, there will be turmoil." I asked again, "Is there any good after this evil?" He said, "Yes, but it will be tainted." I asked again, "Is there any evil after this good?" He said, "There will be misguided leaders who will invite to the gates of Hell, whoever responds to their call, while you will be on a path of righteousness. I asked again, "Is there any evil after this good?" He said, "Blindness will come on a nation, deafness as well. They will call to the gates of Hell, and you will be in a position where death is better than following any of them."

[Machine] "Whoever goes out from among them to this man, I would consider him as being among those who went out to him. He said, 'I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: Whoever separates himself from the main body (the Jama‘ah) of Muslims, and he dies in that condition, he will have died the death of one belonging to the days of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance).'"

[Machine] About the night of the Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ ascension, he said, "So I set off, or we set off, until we reached the Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem) but did not enter it." He said, "I said, 'Rather, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered it that night and prayed in it.' He asked, 'What is your name, O bald one? For I know your face but I do not know your name.' I said, 'I am Zirr bin Hubaysh.' He asked, 'How do you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed in it that night?' I said, 'The Quran informs me of that.' He said, 'Whoever speaks with the Quran, let him recite.' So I recited, 'Exalted is He who took His Servant by night from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa.' (Quran 17:1) He said, 'I did not find it.' He asked, 'O bald one, do you find prayers in it?' I said, 'No.' He said, 'By Allah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not pray in it that night. If he had prayed in it, it would have been written for you to pray in it, just as the prayer is written for you in al-Bayt al-Atiq (the Ancient House, i.e., the Kaaba). By Allah, the lightning has not ceased to bolt until the doors of the sky were opened for them, and they saw Paradise and Hell, and the promise of the Hereafter, all of it. Then they returned by the same way they had come.' He said, 'Then he laughed, until I saw his molar teeth.' He said, 'And they say that it was tied to al-Buraq. But rather, the All-Knower of the Unseen and the Witness has made it subject for him.' I asked, 'O Abu Abdullah, what is al-Buraq?' [Machine] A man asked during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, so the people held back. Then, a man gave him something, so he gave it to the people. The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever starts a good practice, he will have its reward and the reward of those who follow him, without their rewards being decreased in any way. And whoever starts an evil practice, he will bear its burden and the burden of those who follow him, without their burdens being decreased in any way."

By Allah, I have the best knowledge amongst people about every turmoil which is going to appear in the period intervening me and the Last Hour; and it is not for the fact that Messenger of Allah ﷺ told me something confidentially pertaining to it and he did not tell anybody else about it, but it is because of the fact that I was present in the assembly in which he had been describing the turmoil. and he especially made a mention of three turmoils which would not spare anything and amongst these there would be turmoils like storms in the hot season. Some of them would be violent and some of them would be comparatively mild. Hudhaifa said: All (who were present) except I have gone (to the next world). (Using translation from Muslim 2891a)

[Machine] Huzaifa used to pray when he was saddened by a matter concerning the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .
[Machine] I stood with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night and he recited the seven long surahs in seven rak'ahs. Whenever he raised his head from the rukoo', he said, "Allah listens to the one who praises Him." Then he said, "Praise be to Allah, the Owner of the Kingdom, the Sovereignty, the Greatness, and the Majesty." His rukoo' was the same as his standing, and his prostration was the same as his rukoo'. Then he turned away and my legs were almost breaking.

[Machine] The Dajjal was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he said, "Verily, I am the greatest trial for some of you, and none will be saved from it except the one who is saved from it. And no trial, small or great, has occurred since the world was created, except that it has been made humble in front of the trial of the Dajjal."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the Hour (i.e., the Day of Judgment). He said, "Its knowledge is with my Lord. None can reveal its time except Him. But I can inform you about its signs and what will happen before it. Indeed, before its arrival, there will be trials and chaos." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah, we already know what trials mean, but what does chaos mean?" He said, "By the language of the Abyssinians, it means killing, and it will be widespread among the people, to the extent that hardly anyone will recognize anyone else."
[Machine] I heard the owner of this bed saying, "There is no harm in what I have heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. And if you fight, I will enter my house, for if anyone enters upon me, I will say, 'Ha Bu' with my sin and your (his) sin."
[Machine] We came to Hudhayfah and said, "Guide us to the closest person to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whom we can learn from and hear from." He said, "One of the closest people to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in guidance, character, and guidance is the son of Umm Abd until he hides from me in his house." The preserved ones among the companions of Muhammad ﷺ knew that the son of Umm Abd was one of the closest people to Allah.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us and delivered a speech in which he did not leave anything before the Hour (Day of Judgment) except that he mentioned it. Whoever heard it, memorized it, and whoever forgot it, forgot it. I see things and remember them just as a man recognizes the face of a person he has not seen for a while and then he sees him and recognizes him.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge when passing by a sign of fear, and when passing by a sign of mercy, he would ask for it. He used to say when bowing, "Glory be to my Lord, the Almighty," and when prostrating, he would say, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High."
