ahmad:23304 – And Hb b. Jarīr from my father > al-Aʿmash > Abū Wāʾil > Ḥudhayfah

[Machine] The Dajjal was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he said, "Verily, I am the greatest trial for some of you, and none will be saved from it except the one who is saved from it. And no trial, small or great, has occurred since the world was created, except that it has been made humble in front of the trial of the Dajjal."  

أحمد:٢٣٣٠٤ – حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْأَعْمَشَ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

ذُكِرَ الدَّجَّالُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَأَنَا لَفِتْنَةُ بَعْضِكُمْ أَخْوَفُ عِنْدِي مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ وَلَنْ يَنْجُوَ أَحَدٌ مِمَّا قَبْلَهَا إِلَّا نَجَا مِنْهَا وَمَا صُنِعَتْ فِتْنَةٌ مُنْذُ كَانَتِ الدُّنْيَا صَغِيرَةٌ وَلَا كَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا [تَتَّضِعُ] لِفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ

ذِكْرُ الْإِخْبَارِ عَنِ الْعَلَامَةِ الَّتِي بِهَا يُعْرَفُ نَجَاةُ الْمَرْءِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ

[Machine] We were with the Prophet ﷺ when he mentioned the Antichrist (Dajjal). He said, "The trial of some of you is more fearful to me than the trial of the Antichrist. Indeed, it is not a small or big trial, except that it takes a humble position compared to the trial of the Antichrist. Whoever survives the trial before it will also survive it. It will not harm a Muslim, as it is written between its eyes, 'Disbeliever.' It will be clear to believers whether they can read or not."  

ابن حبّان:٦٨٠٧ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنْ طَارِقِ بْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ

كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ الدَّجَّالَ فَقَالَ «لَفِتْنَةُ بَعْضِكُمْ أَخْوَفُ عِنْدِي مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ مِنْ فِتْنَةٍ صَغِيرَةٍ وَلَا كَبِيرَةٍ إِلَّا تَتَّضِعُ لِفِتْنَةِ الدَّجَّالِ فَمَنْ نَجَا مِنْ فِتْنَةِ مَا قَبْلَهَا نَجَا مِنْهَا وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَضُرُّ مُسْلِمًا مَكْتُوبٌ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ كَافِرٌ مُهَجَّاةٌ كَ فَ رَ»
