52. Adornments
٥٢۔ كِتَابُ الزِّينَةِ
"The Prophet [SAW] forbade me from Al-Qassi, silk, gold rings, and that I recite Qur'an while bowing." Hisham contradicted him, he did not narrate it in Marfu' form. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5183)
«نَهَانِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَنِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَالْحَرِيرِ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ وَأَنْ أَقْرَأَ رَاكِعًا» خَالَفَهُ هِشَامٌ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ
[Machine] About the virtues of wearing purple, coarse clothing, and a gold ring, Ayoub differs from what Muhammad narrated from Ubaydah's statement.
عَنْ مَيَاثِرِ الْأُرْجُوَانِ وَلُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ» خَالَفَهُ أَيُّوبُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَبِيدَةَ قَوْلَهُ
"He forbade red Al-Mayathir, and gold rings." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5185)
