52. Adornments
٥٢۔ كِتَابُ الزِّينَةِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded her not to touch perfume when she goes out for the last dinner. Ya'qub ibn Ibrahim ibn Saad contradicted him, narrated from his father, from Salih, from Muhammad ibn Abdullah.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «أَمَرَهَا أَنْ لَا تَمَسَّ الطِّيبَ إِذَا خَرَجَتْ إِلَى الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ» خَالَفَهُ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ رَوَاهُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ
The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said to her: "If you go out to 'Isha' then do not touch any perfume." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5261)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهَا «إِذَا خَرَجْتِ إِلَى الْعِشَاءِ فَلَا تَمَسِّي طِيبًا»
[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When a woman goes out for the last meal (of the day), she should not touch anything pleasant.' Abu 'Abdul-Rahman said: 'The hadith of Ya'qub is more correct and Allah knows best.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا خَرَجتِ الْمَرْأَةُ إِلَى الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ فَلَا تَمَسَّ طِيبًا» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَحَدِيثُ يَعْقُوبَ أَوْلَى بِالصَّوَابِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
"The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'If one of you wants to attend the prayer, let her not touch perfume.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5134)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا شَهِدَتْ إِحْدَاكُنَّ الصَّلَاةَ فَلَا تَمَسَّ طِيبًا» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَهَذَا غَيْرُ مَحْفُوظٍ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
