It is forbidden to use purple saddle-clothes.
عَنْ مَيَاثِرِ الأُرْجُوَانِ
"He forbade red Al-Mayathir, wearing Al-Qassi, and gold rings."

Purple saddle cloths and wearing a blend of linen and silk and gold rings were forbidden, Muhammad said: I mentioned that to my brother Yahya bin Seereen and he said: Did you not hear this? Yes, and borders of silk brocade.
عَنْ مَيَاثِرِ الْأُرْجُوَانِ وَلُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade gold rings, wearing garments made from a blend of linen and silk, and red saddle pads.
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ خَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْقَسِّيِّ وَعَنِ الْمِيثَرَةِ
It was narrated from ʿAli ؓ that The Prophet ﷺ forbade, or forbade me [ʿAli], red saddle cloths, garments made from a blend of linen and silk, and gold rings.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى أَوْ نَهَانِي عَنِ الْمِيثَرَةِ وَالْقَسِّيِّ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ
قَالَ نَهَانِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْمِيثَرَةِ وَالْقَسِّيِّ وَخَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ
