[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Tawaf (circumambulation of the Kaaba) around his wives on a certain day. He then began to perform Wudu (ablution) at this and that place. It was said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, why don't you make it one single ablution?" He replied, "This is purer, more pleasant, and cleaner."
[Machine] "So I came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about that, and he said, 'O Abu Rafi', charity is forbidden for Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. The leader of a people should provide for them from his own self.'"
[Machine] "Abu Rafi' was a loyal servant to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I was a young boy under the care of Abbas ibn Abdul Mutallib when Islam entered our lives. I embraced Islam, and so did Umm Al-Fadl. Abbas had already embraced Islam, but he was afraid of his people, so he kept his faith a secret. Abu Lahab, the enemy of Allah, had abstained from the battle of Badr, and his place was taken by Al-As ibn Hisham ibn Al-Mughirah. This was their practice - whenever a man was absent, they would appoint another man in his place. When the news reached us, Allah suppressed our grief and disappointment, and we found strength within ourselves. The Prophet ﷺ spoke about this matter, which is also mentioned in a book by Yakub al-Mursal, although it lacks a chain of narration. It is mentioned that Salim ibn Awf al-Sahmi was among the captives. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said that in Makkah, there is a wise and wealthy merchant, whose son was taken captive; if you pay his ransom, it will be as if you have paid it for me and my companions. The Quraysh told them not to rush with the ransom, as Muhammad and his companions would not be able to fulfill it. Abu Wada'ah ibn Subairah Al-Sahmi said, "You have spoken the truth. Act accordingly." He then sneaked out of his captivity during the night, arrived in Madinah, and took his father's four thousand dirhams. He set out with the ransom and reached Mikraz ibn Hafs ibn Al-Akhyaf in order to pay the ransom for Suhaib ibn Amr. The one who had captivated him was Malik ibn Dud Khan, the brother of Banu Malik ibn Awf."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "O Abu Rafi', kill every dog in the city." Abu Rafi' replied, "I found some women from the Ansar in Sawrayn from Al-Baqi', and they have a dog. They said, 'O Abu Rafi', the Messenger of Allah devoted our men to fighting, and this dog is our only protection after Allah. By Allah, no one can come to us until a woman from among us stands guard between him and us. So, mention this to the Prophet and ask for his advice." Abu Rafi' mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ , and he said, "O Abu Rafi', kill it, for it is only Allah who prevents them."
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , he said, "When the Mu'adhdhin calls for prayer, he should say what he says until he reaches the part where he says 'Hayya 'ala as-Salah' (Come to prayer). At this point, he should say, 'La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah' (There is no power or strength except with Allah)."
[Machine] Narrated by Abu Rafi`, the slave of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that he saw the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and a shoulder of mutton was brought to him, so he ate it, then he stood up for the prayer without touching a drop of water.
[Machine] Narrated Abu Rafi', the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ : I slaughtered a sheep for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He commanded me, so I cut from its belly and he ate from it. Then he stood up and prayed without performing ablution.
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ uttering the call to prayer (Adhan) in the ear of al-Hasan ibn Ali when Fatimah gave birth to him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 5105)
The Prophet went around to all of his wives in one night, and he had a bath after each one of them. It was said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, why not make it one bath?" He said: "This is purer, better and cleaner." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 590)
[Machine] Saad approached Abu Rafi' or Abu Rafi' approached Saad and Abu Rafi' said, "If I had not heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'The neighbor is more deserving of his neighbor's bucket until he himself gives it away.'"
the Messenger of Allah sent a man from Banu Makhzun to collect charity, so he said to Abu Rafi: "Accompany me so that perhaps you may have some of it." So he said: "Not until I ask the Messenger of Allah." So he went to the Prophet to ask him, and he said: "Charity is not lawful for us, and to be the Mawda of a people to be the same as them." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 657)
[Machine] "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He saw a man praying with his head shaved, so he forbade him or said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a man from praying while his hair is shaved."

The Prophet ﷺ said: Let me not find one of you reclining on his couch when he hears something regarding me which I have commanded or forbidden and saying: We do not know. What we found in Allah's Book we have followed. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4605)
[Machine] Abu Rafa'i, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , told me that when Hassan ibn Ali the Elder was born, his mother Fatimah wanted to sacrifice two sheep. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not sacrifice on his behalf, but shave his head and give charity of the weight of his hair in gold to the cause of Allah." After that, Hussein was born and she did the same for him.
Sa'id ibn AbuSa'id al-Maqburi reported on the authority of his father that he saw AbuRafi' the freed slave of the Prophet ﷺ, passing by Hasan ibn Ali (Allah be pleased with them) when he was standing offering his prayer. He had tied the back knot of his hair. AbuRafi' untied it. Hasan turned to him with anger, AbuRafi' said to him: Concentrate on your prayer and do not be angry: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: This is the seat of the devil, referring to the back knot of the hair. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 646)

[Machine] And regarding his grandfather, they both witnessed the Battle of Hunayn with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . They said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led the Dhuhr prayer with us, then he leaned against the shade of a tree and sat in it while he was in Hunayn. Al-Aqra bin Habis and Uyaynah bin Hisn bin Hudhaifah bin Badr came to him, disputing regarding Aamir bin Al-Adibt. Uyaynah sought blood revenge for Aamir, who was the leader of Ghatfan that day. And Al-Aqra bin Habis was defending Muhalim bin Jathama from being pushed out of his place in Khindif. They brought their dispute to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and we were listening. We heard Uyaynah saying, "By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I will not leave until I make his women taste the heat my women tasted." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Rather, you will take fifty camels as blood money for this journey of ours, and another fifty when we return." While he was refusing, a man from Banu Layth, called Mukaytil, who was short and stocky, stood up. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have not found someone who resembles this killer in the essence of Islam, except for a sheep. It turns back its first steps and runs with its last steps." He said, "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hand and said, 'Rather, you will take fifty camels as blood money for this journey of ours, and another fifty when we return.' They accepted the blood money and then said, 'Where is your companion who will seek forgiveness for you, O Messenger of Allah?' A tall man named Adam stood up, holding a cloak that he had prepared for killing, and he went and sat in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He asked, 'What is your name?' The man said, 'I am Muhalim bin Jathama.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hand and said, 'O Allah, do not forgive Muhalim bin Jathama.' So the man stood up while wiping away his tears with the edge of his garment. Then, we say, 'We hope that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has sought forgiveness for him,' but what was apparent from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was this

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "A man will come out from the magicians who studies the Quran in a way that no one else has studied it, and there will be those who come after him."
13.97 [Machine] Abdullah ibn Abi Hadrad
[Machine] We sent the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to Itham. I went out with a group of Muslims, including Abu Qatadah Al-Harith ibn Rib'iyy and Muhalib ibn Jathama ibn Qays. We went out until, when we were in the valley of Itham, 'Amir Al-Ashja'i passed by us on his camel. He had with him a sheep, a container of milk, and dates. When he passed by us, he greeted us, but we restrained him. Muhalib ibn Jathama attacked him with something he had, which resulted in his death. Muhalib also took his camel, sheep, and dates. When we arrived to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him of the news, the following verse from the Quran was revealed: "O you who have believed, when you go forth [to fight] in the cause of Allah , investigate; and do not say to one who gives you [a greeting of] peace "You are not a believer," aspiring for the goods of worldly life; for with Allah are many acquisitions. You [yourselves] were like that before; then Allah conferred His favor upon you, so investigate. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted." (4:94) [Surah An-Nisa]
[Machine] He married a woman and came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ seeking his assistance in paying her dowry. He asked, "How much did you give as dowry?" He replied, "I gave two hundred dirhams." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you were to collect dirhams from your valley, you would not increase what I have nor would I give you anymore." He said, "So I stayed for a while, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called me and sent me on an expedition to Najd. He said, 'Go on this expedition, perhaps you will achieve something.' So I set off with the army until we reached a place called Mumsin. When the evening came, our leader sent two men and said, 'When I make takbeer and start carrying, make takbeer and start carrying as well.' And he said, 'When we send two men, do not separate and I will ask one of you about the news of his companion, but I do not find him with him, and do not focus too much on searching.' So when we wanted to carry, I heard a man from Mumsin shout, 'O Khadrah!' So I became hopeful that we were going to get something from them. When we stood for takbeer, our leader carried and we carried as well. Then a man passed by me holding a sword, so I followed him. My companion said to me, 'Our leader has entrusted us not to focus too much on searching, so go back.' But I did not see anything but to follow him. He said, 'By Allah, you will go back or I will go back to him and tell him that you refused.' So I said, 'By Allah, I will follow him.' So I followed him until I came close to him and shot an arrow at him and it struck him on the chest and he fell. He said, 'Come, O Muslim, to Paradise!' When he saw that I did not approach him, I shot another arrow at him and it hit him, so he drew his sword and attacked me, but I took the sword from him and killed him. I cut off his head and we collected many spoils. Then we returned. When I woke up, I saw my camel tied to it another camel, on which there was a beautiful young woman. She would look back and say takbeer, so I asked her, 'Where are you looking?' She said, 'To a man, and by Allah, if he is alive, he will join you.' I said, 'And I thought it was my companion whom I killed. By Allah, I killed him, and this is his sword, hanging from the saddle of the camel I am on.' He said, 'And the scabbard of the sword has nothing hanging from the saddle of her camel.' So when I told her this, she said, 'Place this scabbard beneath it and smell it, if you are telling the truth.' He said, 'So I took it and smelled it, and then she cried.' He said, 'So we went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and he gave me from those blessings that we had brought.'

13.98 [Machine] Bilal
Messenger of Allah, do not say Amin before me. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 937)
The Messenger of Allah wiped over his leather socks and his head cover (i.e., over the Imamah). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 561)
"The Messenger of Allah entered the Kabah, and was about to come out, when I thought of something, so I came quickly and I found the Messenger of Allah coming out. I asked Bilal: Did the Messenger of Allah prayed inside the Kabah?' He said: 'Yes, two Rakahs between the two columns.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2907)
"I said to Bilal: 'How did the Prophet (S) reply to them when they gave him Salams and he was performing Salat?' He said: 'He would motion with his hand.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 368)
[Machine] Concerning prayer, it is not to be performed except at the rising of the sun, for it rises between the two horns of the devil.
‘The cupper and the one for whom cupping is done both break their fast.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1679)
[Machine] I went to the messenger of Allah ﷺ and asked him permission to pray. Abu Ahmed (one of the narrators) said, and he meant to ask permission for fasting. So he called for a cup, drank from it, offered me a drink, and then went out to the mosque to pray without performing ablution, intending to fast.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "The Night of Qadr is on the twenty-fourth night."
[Machine] He heard Abdullah Ibn Awf asking Bilal how the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ wiped over his socks. Bilal replied that he first uncovered his feet, then called for a vessel containing water for washing, and washed his face and hands. After that, he wiped over his socks and the turban he was wearing. Abdur Razzaq added that then he called for a vessel containing water for washing.
The Messenger of Allah wiped over his leather socks and his head cover (i.e., over the Imamah). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 561)
The Messenger of Allah wiped over his leather socks and his head cover (i.e., over the Imamah). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 561)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the Kaaba, and Uthman ibn Talha, Usama ibn Zaid, and Bilal had closed it. When he came out, I asked Bilal, "What did the Prophet do?" He said, "He left two pillars on his right and one pillar on his left, and three pillars behind him. Then he prayed, and there were three arm-lengths between him and the Qibla."
[Machine] I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to inform him about the prayer, but he intended to fast, so he drank and then appointed me and went out to perform the prayer.
The Messenger of Allah wiped over his leather socks and his head cover (i.e., over the Imamah). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 561)
[Machine] On the day of victory, they performed the circumambulation around the Ka'bah, Safa, and Marwa. Then, the Prophet ﷺ entered the Ka'bah, and Ibnu Umar missed him. When he was informed of his entry, he hurried to climb on the necks of the men, and he entered to follow the Prophet ﷺ in his prayer. He found him at the door, outside. He asked Bilal, the caller to prayer, how did the Prophet ﷺ pray when he entered the Ka'bah? Bilal said, he prayed two Rak'ahs towards the direction of his face, then he supplicated to Allah for a while, and then he came out.
The Messenger of Allah wiped over his leather socks and his head cover (i.e., over the Imamah). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 561)
[Machine] I asked Bilal ibn Rabah where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray when he entered the Kaaba. He said, "Between the two pillars." And Ibn Bakr said, "Two prostrations."
[Machine] I asked Bilal, "Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray when he entered the Kaaba?" He said, "He prayed between him and the wall, about three cubits."
[Machine] He came to the Prophet ﷺ to call him for prayer and found him having suhoor (pre-dawn meal) in the mosque of his house.
[Machine] "I came to Sham and then I saw a man with thick lips or he said big lips and nose, holding a weapon in his hands. They asked him and he said, 'Oh people, take this weapon, repair it, and strive in the way of Allah with it.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Who is this?' They said, 'It is Bilal.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to relieve himself, and I would bring him water so he could perform ablution and wipe over the turban and the socks.
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over his leather slippers (when doing wudoo’). (Using translation from Aḥmad 216)
[Machine] So he informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed two units of prayer and placed the cylinder on his right and moved forward slightly, and placed the Maqam behind his back.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs (units of prayer) in it.
[Machine] Ibn Umar was at his house when someone told him that the Prophet ﷺ had entered the Kaaba. So, he approached and found the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had come out, and he found Bilal standing between the two doors. Ibn Umar asked Bilal, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray in the Kaaba?" Bilal replied, "Yes, he prayed two units of prayer between these two pillars," and he pointed to the two pillars to the left when you enter. Then the Prophet ﷺ came out and prayed two units of prayer facing the Kaaba.
The Messenger of Allah wiped over his leather socks and his head cover (i.e., over the Imamah). (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 561)
[Machine] Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray when he entered the house? I was not with him, but I entered after he wanted to leave, so I met Bilal and asked him where he prayed. He told me that he prayed between the two pillars, then Muawiya stood up and prayed between them.
Ziyadah al-Kindi reported on the authority of Bilal that he (Bilal) came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to inform him about the dawn prayer. Aisha kept Bilal engaged in a matter which she asked him till the day was bright and it became fairly light. Bilal then stood up and called him to prayer and called him repeatedly. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not yet come out. When he came out, he led the people in prayer and he (Bilal) informed him that Aisha had kept him engaged in a matter which she asked him till it became fairly light; hence he became late in reaching him (in time). He (Bilal) said: Messenger of Allah, the dawn became fairly bright. He said: If the dawn became brighter than it is now, I would pray them (the two rak'ahs of the sunnah prayer), offer them well and in a more beautiful manner. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1257)
I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiping over his leather slippers (when doing wudoo’). (Using translation from Aḥmad 216)
