[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, I have seen men in Yemen prostrating to each other. Shouldn't we prostrate to you instead?" He replied, "If I were to command someone to prostrate to another person, I would have commanded the woman to prostrate to her husband."
[Machine] O Messenger of Allah, I have seen men who mentioned its meaning.
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "O Mu'adh, follow up a bad deed with a good deed, it will erase it, and treat the people with good character."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ stated that he only accepted Zakat from wheat, barley, raisins, and dates.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Arab villages and commanded me to take the share of the land. Abdullah ibn Razzaq, meaning Sufyan, reported from Jabir, who reported from Abdul Rahman ibn Aswad, who reported from Muhammad ibn Zaid, meaning in the hadith of Muadh.
[Machine] I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he said, "O Mu'adh, do you know what rights Allah has upon His servants?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "The right of Allah upon His servants is that they worship Him alone and do not associate anything with Him." He then said, "Do you know what rights the servants have upon Allah if they do that?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "He will not punish them."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are six signs of the Hour: my death, the conquest of Jerusalem, a death that will take people like the slaughter of sheep, a trial in which every Muslim household will be affected, a man being given a thousand dinars and he will not be pleased with them, and the Romans betraying [the Muslims] and advancing in eighty divisions, with twelve thousand soldiers under each division."
[Machine] Narrated a strange hadith from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said, "Yes, I used to place my foot on a donkey's rib. Mu'adh bin Jabal said, 'Here I am at your service, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'Do you know the right of Allah upon His servants?' I said, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said, 'The right of Allah upon His servants is that they worship Him and do not associate anything with Him.' Then he said, 'O Mu'adh, do you know the right of the servants upon Allah if they do that?' I said, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said, 'Their right upon Allah is that He does not punish them.'"
[Machine] I was sitting next to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "Do you know the rights that Allah has upon His servants?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "That they worship Him alone and associate nothing with Him." He then asked, "Do you know the rights of the servants upon Allah if they fulfill that?" I said, "That He forgives them and does not punish them." Ma'mar said in his narration, "I asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, should I not give glad tidings to the people?'" He said, "Let them work."
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said: Shall I not guide you to a door from the doors of Paradise? He said: What is it? He said: There is no power or might except with Allah."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on a journey, which was the expedition of Tabuk. He combined the prayers of Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha. I asked, "What made him do that?" He said, "He wanted to make it easier for his ummah."
[Machine] I entered the grand mosque in Basra and sat next to an old man with white hair and beard. He said to me, "Muath bin Jabal narrated to me from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said, 'Any soul that dies while testifying that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, Allah will forgive it as long as it is sincerely believed in.'" I asked him, "Did you hear this from Muath?" As if the people imposed on me, he said, "Do not impose on him or scold him, leave him. Yes, I heard it from Muath who was close to the Messenger of Allah." Ismail once recounted it from the Messenger of Allah. I asked someone, "Who is this?" He said, "This is Abdul Rahman bin Samurah."
[Machine] About the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned the narration.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no soul on the Earth that dies without associating partners with Allah, except that it bears witness that I am the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and this is only returned to a heart full of certainty, except that it will be forgiven." I said, "Did you hear this from Mu'adh ibn Jabal?" He replied, "The people had annoyed me, so he said, 'Leave him, for he did not say anything wrong.' Yes, I heard it from Mu'adh, who claimed to have heard it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
[Machine] I sat in a gathering with twenty companions of the Prophet ﷺ , and among them was a young man with a pleasant face, captivating eyes, and beautiful voice. Whenever they differed in something, they would seek his opinion, and he would give a decisive statement. This young man was Mu'adh bin Jabal. The next day, I came and found him praying near a banner. He raised his voice with a recitation from his prayer, and then he became silent. I said, "By Allah, I love you for the sake of Allah." He asked, "For Allah's sake?" I replied, "Yes, for Allah's sake." He said, "Then surely, those who love each other for the sake of Allah will be in the shade of Allah on a day when there is no shade except His shade." Then, he added, "They will be given chairs of light, and the prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs will envy them for their gathering with their Lord." I also narrated this conversation to 'Ubada ibn As-Samit, and he said, "I will only narrate to you what I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." My love for those who love me is justified, and my love for those who visit me is also justified, as well as my love for those who spend on me and my love for those who remain in contact with me. There is some difference of opinion regarding whether the term "those who remain in contact" refers to those who visit or those who remain in touch.

Mu'adh, do you know the right of Allah over His bondsmen? He (Mu'adh) said: Allah and His Apostle know best. He (the Messenger of Allah) said: That Allah alone should be worshipped and nothing should be associated with Him. He (the Holy Prophet) said: What right have they (bondsmen) upon Him in case they do it? He (Mu'adh) said: Allah and His Apostle know best. He (the Holy Prophet) said: That He would not punish them. (Using translation from Muslim 30c)
[Machine] Mu'adh was in Yemen when they approached him about a Jew who had died and left behind a Muslim brother. Mu'adh said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Indeed, Islam increases and does not decrease.' So he bequeathed it to him."
that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do you know what Allah's right upon His slaves is?" I said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "His right upon them is that they worship Him alone and do not associate any partners with Him." He said: "And do you know what their right over Allah is if they do that?" I said: "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said: "That He will not punish them." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2643)

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ intended to send Mu'adh ibn Jabal to the Yemen, he asked: How will you judge when the occasion of deciding a case arises? He replied: I shall judge in accordance with Allah's Book. He asked: (What will you do) if you do not find any guidance in Allah's Book? He replied: (I shall act) in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He asked: (What will you do) if you do not find any guidance in the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and in Allah's Book? He replied: I shall do my best to form an opinion and I shall spare no effort. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then patted him on the breast and said: Praise be to Allah Who has helped the messenger of the Messenger of Allah to find something which pleases the Messenger of Allah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3592)

[Machine] "That the Prophet (saw) said to him, 'O Mu'adh bin Jabal.' He said, 'At your service, O Messenger of Allah, and may peace be upon you.' He said, 'No one testifies that there is no god but Allah and dies upon that, except that they will enter Paradise.' I said, 'Shall I not inform the people?' He said, 'No, for I fear that they will depend on it (i.e., on this testimony) alone.'"

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ held congregational prayers between Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha in the Battle of Tabuk.
"The Prophet sent me to Yemen and ordered me to collect a Tabi or a Tabi'ah on every thirty cows, a Musinnah on every forty, a Dinar for every Halim, or its equivalent of Ma'afir."Abu Eisa said: This Hadith is Hasan. Some of them reported this Hadith from Sufyan, from Al-A'mash, from Abu Wa'il, from Masruq: "The Prophet sent Mu'adh to Yemen and ordered him to take..." and this is more authentic (Using translation from Tirmidhī 623)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If anyone fights in Allah's path as long as the time between two milkings of a she-camel, Paradise will be assured for him. If anyone sincerely asks Allah for being killed and then dies or is killed, there will be a reward of a martyr for him. Ibn al-Musaffa added from here: If anyone is wounded in Allah's path, or suffers a misfortune, it will come on the Day of resurrection as copious as possible, its colour saffron, and its odour musk; and if anyone suffers from ulcers while in Allah's path, he will have on him the stamp of the martyrs. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2541)

"I accompanied the Prophet ﷺ on a journey. One day I was near him while we were moving so I said: 'O Messenger of Allah! Inform me about an action by which I will be admitted into Paradise, and which will keep me far from the Fire.' He said: 'You have asked me about something great, but it is easy for whomever Allah makes it easy: Worship Allah and do not associate any partners with Him, establish the Salat, give the Zakat, fast Ramadan and perform Hajj to the HOuse.' Then he said: 'Shall I not guide you to the doors of good? Fasting is a shield, and charity extinguishes sins like water extinguishes fire - and a man's praying in depths of the night.'" He said: "Then he recited: 'Their sides forsake their beds to call upon their Lord.' Until he reached: 'What they used to do.' [32:16-17] Then he said: 'Shall I not inform you about the head of the entire matter, and its pillar, and its hump?' I said: 'Of course O Messenger of Allah! He said: 'The head of the matter is Islam, and its pillar is the Salat, and its hump is Jihad.' Then he said: 'Shall I not inform you about what governs all of that?' I said: 'Of course O Messenger of Allah!'" He ﷺ said: "So he grabbed his tongue. He said 'Restrain this.' I said: 'O Prophet of Allah! Will we be taken to account for what we say?' He said: 'May your mother grieve your loss O Mu'adh! Are the people tossed into the Fire upon their faces, or upon their noses, except because of what their tongues have wrought'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2616)

Amr ibn Maymun al-Awdi said: Mu'adh ibn Jabal, the Messenger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us in Yemen, I heard his takbir (utterance of AllahuAkbar) in the dawn prayer. He was a man with loud voice. I began to love him. I did depart from him until I buried him dead in Syria (i.e. until his death). Then I searched for a person who had deep understanding in religion amongst the people after him. So I came to Ibn Mas'ud and remained in his company until his death. He (Ibn Mas'ud) said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me: How will you act when you are ruled by rulers who say prayer beyond its proper time? I said: What do you command me, Messenger of Allah, if I witness such a time? He replied: Offer the prayer at its proper time and also say your prayer along with them as a supererogatory prayer.
