[Machine] Mu'adh was in Yemen when they approached him about a Jew who had died and left behind a Muslim brother. Mu'adh said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Indeed, Islam increases and does not decrease.' So he bequeathed it to him."  

أحمد:٢٢٠٠٥حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ الدِّيلِيِّ قَالَ

كَانَ مُعَاذٌ بِالْيَمَنِ فَارْتَفَعُوا إِلَيْهِ فِي يَهُودِيٍّ مَاتَ وَتَرْكَ أَخَاهُ مُسْلِمًا فَقَالَ مُعَاذٌ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْإِسْلَامَ يَزِيدُ وَلَا يَنْقُصُ فَوَرَّثَهُ

[Machine] A man from among us, a Jew or Christian, died and left behind a Muslim son. This was brought to Mu'adh, who decided to inherit him. He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, 'Islam only increases, it does not decrease.'"
