The love of the Ansar is the sign of faith and hatred against them is the sign of dissemblance.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ حُبُّ الأَنْصَارِ آيَةُ الإِيمَانِ وَبُغْضُهُمْ آيَةُ النِّفَاقِ

"The Prophet ﷺ - the Unlettered Prophet - exhorted me (saying): 'None loves you except a believer and none hates you except a hypocrite.'" 'Adi bin Thabit (a narrator) said: "I am from the generation whom the Prophet ﷺ supplicated for."

لَقَدْ عَهِدَ إِلَىَّ النَّبِيُّ الأُمِّيُّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّكَ إِلاَّ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلاَ يَبْغَضُكَ إِلاَّ مُنَافِقٌ قَالَ عَدِيُّ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ أَنَا مِنَ الْقَرْنِ الَّذِينَ دَعَا لَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ

'Ali said: "The Unlettered Prophet [SAW] made a covenant with me, that none but a believer would love me, and none but a hypocrite would hate me."

عَلِيٌّ إِنَّهُ لَعَهْدُ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ ﷺ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّكَ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَبْغُضُكَ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ

"The Prophet [SAW] made a covenant with me that none would love me but a believer, and none would hate me but a hypocrite."

عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَنْ لَا يُحِبُّنِي إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَبْغُضُنِي إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ

"The Unlettered Prophet informed me (saying) that none but a believer would love me and none but a hypocrite would hate me."

عَهِدَ إِلَىَّ النَّبِيُّ الأُمِّيُّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ لاَ يُحِبُّنِي إِلاَّ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلاَ يُبْغِضُنِي إِلاَّ مُنَافِقٌ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “No one hates the Arabs except a hypocrite.”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يُبْغِضُ الْعَرَبَ إِلا مُنَافِقٌ

ʿAli ؓ said: By Allah, one of the things that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ promised me was that no one would hate me except a hypocrite and no one would love me except a believer.

عَلِيٌّ وَاللهِ إِنَّهُ لَمِمَّا عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ لَا يُبْغِضُنِي إِلا مُنَافِقٌ وَلا يُحِبُّنِي إِلا مُؤْمِنٌ

The Prophet ﷺ assured me: No one will love you but a believer and no one will hate you but a hypocrite.

عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّكَ إِلا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلا يُبْغِضُكَ إِلا مُنَافِقٌ

The Prophet ﷺ promised me, no one would love me except a believer and no one would hate me except a hypocrite.

عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّكَ إِلا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلا يُبْغِضُكَ إِلا مُنَافِقٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The love of the Ansar is faith, and their hatred is hypocrisy."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حُبُّ الْأَنْصَارِ إِيمَانٌ وَبُغْضُهُمْ نِفَاقٌ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The sign of faith is love for the Ansar, and the sign of hypocrisy is hatred towards them."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ آيَةُ الْإِيمَانِ حُبُّ الْأَنْصَارِ وَآيَةُ النِّفَاقِ بُغْضُهُمْ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Woe to the Achilles' tendon because of Hell-fire." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 454)

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ وَيْلٌ لِلْعَرَاقِيبِ مِنَ النَّارِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, this is a group of Ansar, their love is faith, and their hatred is hypocrisy."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ هَذَا الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِحْنَةٌ حُبُّهُمْ إِيمَانٌ وَبُغْضُهُمْ نِفَاقٌ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying to Ali, "No believer dislikes you, nor does a hypocrite love you."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لِعَلِيٍّ لَا يُبْغِضُكَ مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يُحِبُّكَ مُنَافِقٌ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "When a believer is praised on his face, faith blooms in his heart."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا مُدِحَ الْمُؤْمِنُ فِي وَجْهِهِ رَبَا الْإِيمَانُ فِي قَلْبِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Loving the Arabs is faith, and hating them is hypocrisy."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «حُبُّ الْعَرَبِ إِيمَانٌ وَبُغْضُهُمْ نِفَاقٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, your companion is the close friend of Allah, the Most High."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ صَاحِبَكُمْ خَلِيلُ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "When a believer is praised on his face, the faith in his heart increases."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِذَا مُدِحَ الْمُؤْمِنُ فِي وَجْهِهِ رَبَا الْإِيمَانُ فِي قَلْبِهِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever loves me, loves these two" - referring to Hasan and Husayn.

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أَحَبَّنِي فَقَدْ أَحَبَّهُمَا» يَعْنِي الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Indeed, this tribe of the Ansar, their love is faith and their hatred is hypocrisy."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ هَذَا الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِحْنَةٌ حُبُّهُمْ إِيْمَانٌ وَبُغْضُهُمْ نِفَاقٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Revive Islam with the love of the Ansar, for none loves them except a believer, and none hates them except a hypocrite."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «اسْتَحْدِثُوا الْإِسْلَامَ بِحُبِّ الْأَنْصَارِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّهُمْ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يُبْغِضُهُمْ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "A believer should not hate Ali, and a hypocrite should not love him."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يُبْغِضُ عَلِيًّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يُحِبُّهُ مُنَافِقٌ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "No one loves Ali except a believer and no one hates Ali except a hypocrite."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يُحِبُّ عَلِيًّا إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يُبْغِضُهُ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ»

"The Unlettered Prophet informed me (saying) that none but a believer would love me and none but a hypocrite would hate me." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 114)

عَهِدَ إِلَيَّ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَنْ لَا يُحِبَّنِي إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَبْغَضُنِي إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ»

'Ali said: "The Unlettered Prophet [SAW] made a covenant with me, that none but a believer would love me, and none but a hypocrite would hate me." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 5018)

قَالَ عَلِيٌّ «إِنَّهُ لَعَهْدُ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ ﷺ إِلَيَّ إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّكَ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَبْغَضُكَ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ»

"إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّكَ الَّا مُؤْمنٌ وَلَا يُبْغِضُكَ إِلا مُنَافِقٌ، قَالَهُ لعلىٍّ ".

"الأَنصار آيةُ المؤمنين، وآية المنافق ، لا يُحبُّهم إلا مؤمِنٌ ولا يَبْغضهم إِلا منَافق".

"حُبُّ الْعربِ إِيمانٌ وبُغْضُهُم نِفَاقٌ".

"حُبُّ أبِى بَكْرٍ وعُمرَ إِيمانٌ، وبغضهما نِفَاقٌ".

"حَسَّانٌ حِجَازٌ بَيْن المؤمِنِينَ وَالمُنَافِقِينَ، لَا يُحِبُّهُ مُنَافِقٌ وَلَا يُبْغِضُهُ مُؤمِنٌ".

"لا يَبْغُضُ الْعَرَبَ إِلا مُنَافقٌ".

"لا يَبْغُضُكَ مُؤمِنٌ وَلا يُحِبُّكَ مُنَافِقٌ - قَالهُ: لِعَلِيٍّ".

"لا يَبْغُضُ عَلِيًّا مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلا يُحِبُّهُ مُنَافِقٌ".

"لا يَبْغُضُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلا يُحِبُّهُمَا مُنَافِقٌ".

"لَا يُحِبُّكَ إِلَّا مُؤمِنٌ، ولا يبْغضُكَ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ، قاله لعليٍّ".

"لَا يُحِبُّ أبَا بَكرٍ وَعُمَرَ إِلَّا مُؤمِنٌ، ولا يُبغِضُهُمَا إلَّا مُنَافِق".

"لَا يُحبُّ عَليًّا إلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ، وَلَا يَبْغُضُهُ إِلَّا مُنَافقٌ".
