The Prophet ﷺ said: Any woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first of them and anything sold by a man to two persons belongs to the first of them.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

The Messenger of Allah said: "Whichever woman is given in marriage by two Wali, then her case is in accordance with the first of them, and whoever sells something to two men, then it is for the first of them."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَمَنْ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

"If a woman is married off by two guardians, then the first marriage is the one that counts, and if a man sells something to two men, it belongs to the first one."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَمَنْ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

"Any man who sells to two men, it is for the one who was first."[1]

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

The Prophet ﷺ said: Any woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first of them and anything sold by a man to two persons belongs to the first of them. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ لَهَا فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا»

[AI] "The Prophet of Allah, ﷺ , said: When two guardians have agreed to a marriage, it belongs to the first of them. And when a man sells to two people, it belongs to the first of them. Yunus also said: When a man sells something from two people."

أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَنْكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَإِذَا بَاعَ مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَقَالَ يُونُسُ وَإِذَا بَاعَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ

"If a woman is married off by two guardians, then the first marriage is the one that counts, and if a man sells something to two men, it belongs to the first one." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4682)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَشَكَّ فِيهِ فِي كِتَابِ الْبُيُوعِ فَقَالَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ أَوْ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَمَنْ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

[AI] The Prophet (PBUH) said, "If a woman is married by two guardians, she belongs to the first of them both. And if a sale is made by two men, it belongs to the first of them both."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَنَكَحَ الْمَرْأَةَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَإِذَا بِيعَ الْبَيْعُ مِنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ فَهو لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a guardian marries off his ward, she belongs to the first one (the groom). And when two people engage in a transaction, the transaction belongs to the first one."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَنَكَحَ وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ وَإِذَا بَاعَ اثْنَانِ فَالْبَيْعُ لِلْأَوَّلِ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ said, when a woman is married and divorced twice, she is for the first of the two husbands, and when a transaction is made between two men, it belongs to the first of them."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أُنْكِحَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ زَوْجَيْنِفَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَإِذَا بِيعَ الْبَيْعُ مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

"If a woman is married off by two guardians, then the first marriage is the one that counts, and if a man sells something to two men, it belongs to the first one." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 4682)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَنْكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَهُو لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَإِذَا بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When two guardians marry (a girl) off, it is up to the first one, and if a sale is made by two men, it is up to the first one of them."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَنْكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَإِذَا بَاعَ بَيْعًا لِرَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

أَّنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلٍ أَوْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ الْأَوَّلُ مِنْهُمَا وَأَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whichever woman is married by two guardians, then she belongs to the first one, and whichever two men have a transaction, then it belongs to the first one among them." Sa'id bin Abu 'Aruba and Sa'id bin Bashir Al-Dimashqi narrated this on the terms of Al-Bukhari.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلَيْنِ ابْتَاعَا بَيْعًا فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا» تَابَعَهُ سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ وَسَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَعلى شرط البخاري

The Prophet ﷺ said: Any woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first of them and anything sold by a man to two persons belongs to the first of them. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ بَاعَ مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ بَيْعًا فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَأَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "When the guardians marry, they are for the first husband, and when the sellers sell, it is for the first buyer." Qatadah also followed up on his narration from Al-Hasan, Ashaath ibn Abd Al-Malik Al-Humrani.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِذَا نَكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ وَإِذَا بَاعَ الْمُجِيزَانِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ» وَقَدْ تَابَعَ قَتَادَةُ عَلَى رِوَايَتِهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ أَشْعَثَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ الْحُمْرَانِيَّ

عَنِ النَّبِيّ ﷺ قَالَ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ أَنْكَحَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ بَاعَ بَيْعًا مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ للأول منهما

The Prophet ﷺ said: Any woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first of them and anything sold by a man to two persons belongs to the first of them. [AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When a woman is married to two husbands, she belongs to the first of them. And when a transaction is made between two men, it belongs to the first of them."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا نُكِحَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ زَوْجَيْنِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَإِذَا بِيعَ الْبَيْعُ مِنْ رَجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the guardians marry, it belongs to the first of them. And when the two authorized individuals sell, it belongs to the first of them."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا نَكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَإِذَا بَاعَ الْمُجِيزَانِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the two guardians (i.e., the bride's father and the bridegroom's guardian) agree to marry, the first one has more right. And when two sellers engage in a transaction, the first one has more right."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَنْكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَالْأَوَّلُ أَحَقُّ وَإِذَا بَاعَ الْبَيِّعَانِ فَالْأَوَّلُ أَحَقُّ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the guardian marries, it is for the first."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا نَكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ»

[AI] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, he said, "Whichever woman is married by two guardians, she belongs to the first of them."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When the guardian marries them, then the first of them has the right, and when a man enters into a transaction with another man, the right belongs to the first of them."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا أَنْكَحَ الْوَلِيَّانِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا وَإِذَا بَايَعَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْعًا مِنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ فَهُوَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whichever woman a wali (guardian) marries her, she belongs to the first of them."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

The Prophet ﷺ said: Any woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first woman who is married by two guardians (to two different men) belongs to the first of them and anything sold by a man to two persons belongs to the first of them. [AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whichever woman is married by two guardians, she belongs to the first one of them."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّانِ فَهِيَ لِلْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا

"إذا أنكح الوليانِ فهي امرأةُ الأولِ- وإِذا باع المجيزان فالبيعُ للأول".

"أَيُّمَا رَجُل بَاعَ بَيعًا مِنْ رَجُلَين فَهُوَ لِلأَوَّل مِنْهُمَا".

"أَيمَا امْرَأة زَوَّجَهَا وَلِيَّان فِهَي للأول منْهُمَا، وَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ بَاعَ بَيعًا مِنْ رَجُلَين فَهَوَ لِلأَول منْهُمَا ".

"أيُّمَا امْرَأة زَوجَهَا وَلِيَّان فهى للأوَّل مِنْهُمَا".
