Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Allah will not look at the person who drags his garment (behind him) out of conceit.''

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَى مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ خُيَلاَءَ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Allah will not look, on the Day of Resurrection, at a person who drags his Izar (behind him) out of pride and arrogance.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَى مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever drags his clothes (on the ground) out of pride and arrogance, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مَخِيلَةً لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَقُلْتُ لِمُحَارِبٍ أَذَكَرَ إِزَارَهُ قَالَ مَا خَصَّ إِزَارًا وَلاَ قَمِيصًا

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whoever approaches his wife from behind, Allah the Almighty will not look at him on the Day of Judgment."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ أَتَى امْرَأَتَهُ فِي دُبُرِهَا لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Allah, the Almighty, does not look at those who drag their garments out of arrogance."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ ﷻ إِلَى مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ خُيَلَاءَ

He who trailed his garment out of pride, Allah would not look toward him on the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 2085e)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنْ مَخِيلَةٍ لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ , that he said, "Whoever drags a garment from his clothing out of arrogance, Allah, the Most High, will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبًا مِنْ ثِيَابِهِ مِنْ مَخِيلَةٍ فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

From whom do you come? He described his relationship (with the tribe he belonged) and it was found that he belonged to the tribe of Laith. Ibn. Umar recognised him and said: I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ with these two ears of mine saying: He who trailed his lower garment with no other intention but pride, Allah would not look toward him on the Day of Resurrection. سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ بِأُذُنَيَّ هَاتَيْنِ يَقُولُ مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ لَا يُرِيدُبِذَلِكَ إِلَّا الْمَخِيلَةَ فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever drags their garment out of arrogance, Allah will not look at them on the Day of Resurrection."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبًا مِنْ ثِيَابِهِمَخِيلَةً لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said: "Whoever drags his garment out of arrogance, then indeed, Allah the Almighty will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مَخِيلَةً فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "The example of the one who drags his garment out of pride or arrogance is like that of Yaḥyā (John) from the locusts. Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ أَوْ ثَوْبَهُ شَكَّ يَحْيَى مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

He who trailed his garment out of pride, Allah would not look toward him on the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 2085e)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah does not look at the one who drags his lower garment out of haughtiness."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَى الَّذِي يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ خُيَلَاءَ

“Whoever lets his garment drag out of pride, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3569)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

I ordered Muslim b. Yasar, the freed slave of Nafi' b. 'Abd al-Harith, while I was sitting between them, that he should ask Ibn 'Umar if he had heard anything from Messenger of Allah ﷺ pertaining to one who trails his lower garment out of pride. He said: I heard him (the Holy Prophet) as saying: Allah will not look toward him on the Day of Resurrection. (Using translation from Muslim 2085i)

سَمِعْتَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِيمَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ ﷻ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "Whoever drags a garment (on the ground) out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Judgment."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبًا مِنْ ثِيَابِهِ مَخِيلَةً فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبًامِنْ ثِيَابِهِ مِنَ الْمَخِيلَةِ فَإِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

The Prophet ﷺ said Allah will not look, on the Day of Resurrection at the person who drags his garment (behind him) out of conceit. On that Abu Bakr said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! One side of my Izar hangs low if I do not take care of it." The Prophet ﷺ said, 'You are not one of those who do that out of conceit." (Using translation from Bukhārī 5784)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said: "It is the lesser form of sodomy, which means a man approaching his wife from behind."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ هِيَ اللُّوطِيَّةُ الصُّغْرَى يَعْنِي الرَّجُلَ يَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ فِي دُبُرِهَا

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah does not look at the person who approaches his wife from behind."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ الَّذِي يَأْتِي امْرَأَتَهُ فِي دُبُرِهَا لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ

[AI] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah does not look at the one who drags his garment arrogantly on the Day of Resurrection."

وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْمُسْبِلِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

that the Prophet said: “Allah will not look at a man who has intercourse with his wife in her buttocks.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1923)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ إِلَى رَجُلٍ جَامَعَ امْرَأَتَهُ فِي دُبُرِهَا

[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ or Abu Al-Qasim ﷺ, it is narrated that whoever drags his garment proudly, then surely Allah ﷻ does not look at him.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَوْ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا فَإِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ لَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ

[AI] I heard Abu Al-Qasim, ﷺ , saying, "Allah ﷻ does not look at the one who drags his garment arrogantly."

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا يَنْظُرُ اللهُ ﷻ إِلَى الَّذِي يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ جَرَّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

[AI] "And indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'If people only knew what awaits them.'"

وَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَوْ يَعْلَمُ النَّاسُ مَا لَهُمْ

[AI] From the Prophet of Allah ﷺ , he said: "Whoever drags his garment out of arrogance, Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection." It was narrated by Ibn Umar as well.

عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ جَرَّ ثِيَابَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَمْ يَنْظُرِ اللهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي بِهَذَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ أَيْضًا

The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no ghoul. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3913)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ يَا بُنَيَّ

Life grant is for one upon whom it is bestowed. (Using translation from Muslim 1625f)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْعُمْرَى لِمَنْ وُهِبَتْ لَهُ

"In some poetry there is wisdom." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3755)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ مِنَ الشِّعْرِ حِكْمَةً

The Prophet ﷺ said: There is no ghoul. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3913)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ هَدَايَا الْعُمَّالِ غُلُولٌ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abdullah ibn Dinar from Abdullah ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A person who drags his garment in arrogance will not be looked at by Allah on the Day of Rising."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الَّذِي يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ خُيَلاَءَ لاَ يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu'z-Zinad from al-Araj from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Rising, Allah the Blessed, the Exalted, will not look at a person who drags his lower garment in arrogance."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ إِلَى مَنْ يَجُرُّ إِزَارَهُ بَطَرًا

[AI] The translation of the given Arabic sentence into English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'A believer is forgiven.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمُؤْمِنُ مُكَفَّرٌ»

'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do not prevent the maid-servants of Allah from going to the mosque. (Using translation from Muslim 442c)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَمْنَعُوا إِمَاءَ اللَّهِ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ»

“Allah will not look at a man who enters a man or a woman in the behind.” (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1165)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا يَنْظُرُ اللَّهُ إِلَى رَجُلٍ أَتَى امْرَأَةً فِي دُبُرِهَا»
