[Machine] Whoever is given a share of kindness will also be given a share of goodness, and there is nothing heavier in the scale than good character.
"We arrived in Ash-Sham and we went to Abu Ad-Darda. So he said: 'Is there any among you who can recite for me according to the recitation of 'Abdullah?'" He said: "They pointed to me, so I said: 'Yes, [I (can recite)].' He said: 'How did you hear 'Abdullah recite this Ayah: By the night as it envelopes?'" He said: "I said: 'I heard him recite it: "Wal-Laili Idha Yaghsha, Wadh-Dhakari Wal-Untha" Abu Ad-Darda said: 'Me too, By Allah, this is how I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting it. But these people want me to recite it: Wa Ma Khalaqa but I will not follow them.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2939)
[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "The heaviest thing in the scale on the Day of Judgment is good character."
[Machine] About this verse {For them is good tidings in the life of this world and in the Hereafter} [Quran 10:64]? So he said: You have asked about something that I have not heard anyone ask about after a man asked the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , about it. He said: It is the righteous dream, which a Muslim man sees or is informed of in his life in this world and in his life in the Hereafter, Paradise.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the wealth of the ruler. He said, "Whatever Allah has given you of it without asking or oversight, then take it and support yourself." Al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "There is no harm in it as long as one does not vie for it or seek favour in return."
16.80 [Machine] Mother of al-Darda
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Verily, the supplication of a person is answered as long as he does not call for something sinful or for cutting off the ties of kinship, and he does not rush."
[Machine] "Pray for us for good, for verily the Prophet ﷺ used to say that the supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered. Above his head is an appointed angel whenever he supplicates for his brother with a good, saying: 'Amen, and may you have the same.' I then went out to the market and I met Abu Darda who informed me about the Prophet ﷺ with the same."
16.81 [Machine] From the conversation of Asma bint Yazid
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not combine hunger with lies."
[Machine] I heard Asma bint Yazid, one of the women of Banu Abd al-Ashhal, saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by us while we were in a group of women, and he greeted us and said, 'Beware of the curse of those who are privileged.' So we asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the curse of the privileged?' He replied, 'Perhaps one of you may lengthen her hand between her parents and become a spinster, so Allah will provide her with a husband, wealth, and children. Then she will become angry and say, 'I have never seen any good from him.' But there was a time when he was the best for her.'
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: Do not kill your children secretly, for the milk, with which a child is suckled while his mother is pregnant, overtakes the horseman and throws him from his horse. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3881)
[Machine] I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to pledge allegiance to him. So I approached him and I had two golden bracelets on me, so he looked at them with his eyes and said, "Throw away the bracelets, O Asma. Don't you fear that Allah will adorn you with bracelets of fire?" She said, "So I threw them away, but I don't know who took them."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Nothing of gold or kharbasīsah is of worth."
[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ passed away and his shield was pledged.
[Machine] About Asmaa the daughter of Yazid, she resembles him.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came to us and milk was brought. He said, "Will you drink?" We said, "We do not desire it." He said, "Do not collect falsehood and hunger."
[Machine] We were with the Prophet ﷺ in his house when he said, "Before the emergence of the Dajjal, the sky will withhold one-third of its rain and the earth will withhold one-third of its vegetation for three years. In the second year, the sky will withhold two-thirds of its rain and the earth will withhold two-thirds of its vegetation. In the third year, the sky will withhold all of its rain and the earth will withhold all of its vegetation, and nothing green or living will remain except what Allah wills. The Dajjal will then say to a Bedouin man, 'Do you think if I resurrect your camels with their humps and their bones, and they come to life, will you believe that I am your Lord?' The man will say, 'Yes.' So the devils will appear before him in the form of his camels, and he will follow the Dajjal. The Dajjal will also say to a man, 'Do you think if I resurrect your father and your son and all your relatives, will you believe that I am your Lord?' The man will say, 'Yes.' So the devils will appear before him in the form of his loved ones, and he will follow the Dajjal. Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left and the people of his household began to cry. He returned and asked, 'Why are you crying?' We said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you mentioned the Dajjal, and by Allah, the people of my family will be in dire need, to the point of almost perishing from hunger. What will we do then?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'On that day, the Muslims will be satisfied with the remembrance of Allah and glorification of His name, and they will not need food and drink. Don't cry, for if the Dajjal comes out while I am among you, I will be his opponent, and if he comes out after me, Allah will be his opponent, protecting the Muslims.'"
"I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ reciting: 'Say: "O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, verily, Allah forgives all sins and I do not mind (referring to 39:53)." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 3237)
[Machine] She heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delivering a sermon, saying: "O you who believe! What leads you to follow in falsehood as the moths follow the fire? Every lie is written against the son of Adam, except for three situations: a man who lies to his wife to please her, or a man who lies in war strategy, or a man who lies between two Muslim women to reconcile them."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Dajjal will stay on earth for forty years; a year will be like a month, a month will be like a week, a week will be like a day, and a day will be like burning palm fibers in fire."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered the Muslim women for allegiance. Asmaa asked him, "O Messenger of Allah, won't you feel sorry for us when we are not under your protection?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I do not shake hands with women, but I will take their allegiance. Among the women, there is one who has two golden hearts and golden rings." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then asked Asmaa, "O woman, would you like Allah to beautify you with two bracelets and two rings made of the coal of Hellfire on the Day of Resurrection?" Asmaa sought refuge in Allah and said, "O Prophet of Allah, I seek refuge in Allah." She said, "I told her, 'O my aunt, throw away whatever you have.' So she threw it away, and Asmaa told me, 'By Allah, O my son, I do not know who picked it up or if anyone among us even looked at it.'" Asmaa then said, "O Prophet of Allah, one of them behaves arrogantly towards her husband if he finds her not perfumed or adorned for him." The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "One of you can wear two silver earrings and adorn herself for her husband."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The goodness of horses is tied to their forelocks until the Day of Judgment. Whoever cares for them and spends on them in Allah's cause will find their hunger, thirst, sweat, fatigue, urine, and excrement well-rewarded on the Day of Judgment. But whoever cares for them for the sake of showing off, gaining reputation, joy, or amusement will find their hunger, thirst, sweat, fatigue, urine, and excrement lost in the scales on the Day of Judgment."
[Machine] "I am holding the reins of the she-camel, the camel of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when the complete table spread was brought down upon him. It was so heavy that it almost broke the back of the camel."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came with a cup and he went around the people. There was a man among them who was fasting. When he reached him, he said to him, "Drink." It was said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed he does not break his fast or he fasts forever." He said, meant by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "No one fasts forever."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Any woman who wears a necklace of gold will have the equivalent of it made from fire placed around her neck on the Day of Resurrection. And any woman who wears earrings made of gold will have the equivalent of them made from fire placed in her ears on the Day of Resurrection.' Abdullah As-Samad, in his narration, said: 'Mahmoud ibn Amr reported to us, who said: 'Any woman who wears an earring, the equivalent of it will be placed in her ear of fire on the Day of Resurrection.'"
[Machine] She used to attend with the Prophet ﷺ along with the women. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a woman wearing two gold bracelets, so he said to her, "Would you like Allah to replace them with two bracelets of fire?" She said, "Yes", and then she took them off. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in my house, and he mentioned the Dajjal (the Antichrist) and said, "Between the hands of the Dajjal will be three years. In the first year, the sky will withhold one-third of its rain, and the earth will withhold one-third of its vegetation. In the second year, the sky will withhold two-thirds of its rain, and the earth will withhold two-thirds of its vegetation. In the third year, the sky will withhold all of its rain, and the earth will withhold all of its vegetation. There will not remain any creature with a horn or a hoof that does not perish. The most severe trial will come to a Bedouin man who will say, 'If I bring back to life your camels that died, will you believe that I am your Lord?' He will say, 'Yes,' and then Shayateen (devils) will take the form of his camels, their best form in terms of appearance and size. A man will come whose father and brother have died, and he will say, 'If I bring them back to life, will you believe that I am your Lord?' He will say, 'Yes,' and Shayateen will take on the forms of his father and brother. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then left for a need and returned. The people were concerned and distressed about what he had told them. He held the flesh of his thigh and said, 'Mahyam, does it hurt?' I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you have worried us with the mention of the Dajjal.' He said, 'If he comes out while I am still here, I will be his opponent on your behalf. But if he comes out after I have died, then every Muslim will be responsible for himself, and Allah will be my Khalifa (representative) over every believer.' Asma' said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we knead our dough with our hands, but we cannot bake it until we become hungry. How will it be for the believers on that day?' He said, 'They will be rewarded for their deeds just as the people of the heavens are rewarded for their glorification and sanctification of Allah.'"

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ once sat in a gathering and spoke to them about the one-eyed Dajjal (i.e. the Antichrist). He mentioned some details about him and added to it, saying, "Mahyam." It was a word from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he was asked about something, he would say, "Mahyam," and then expand on it. So, whoever is present in my gathering and hears my words, let them convey to the absent ones. Know that Allah ﷻ is not one-eyed and the Dajjal is one-eyed, with the word "disbeliever" written between his eyes, which every believer, literate or illiterate, will be able to read.

He said, "Perhaps a man may say what he does with his wife, and perhaps a woman may inform about what she does with her husband." So the people became angry, and I said, "By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, they do indeed say and do such things." He said, "Do not do that, for it is like the devil meeting a female devil in a path, then covering her while the people are watching."

One night, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque and found Abu Dharr sleeping on the floor. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ nudged him with his foot until he sat up, and then he asked him, "Do I see you sleeping?" Abu Dharr replied, "O Messenger of Allah, where else can I sleep? Do I have any other home?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat down next to him and asked, "What will you do if they expel you from here?" Abu Dharr replied, "In that case, I will go to Sham (Syria). Sham is the land of migration, the land of resurrection, and the land of prophets. I will become a man among its people." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "What will you do if they expel you from Sham?" Abu Dharr replied, "Then I will return to it, and it will be my home and dwelling place." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "What will you do if they expel you from there a second time?" Abu Dharr replied, "Then I will take my sword and fight for myself until I die." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ uncovered his shoulder and said, "Shall I guide you to something better than that?" Abu Dharr said, "Yes, by my father and mother, O Messenger of Allah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If you follow them wherever they go and accept what they give you, then you will meet me while you are upon that."

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Dajjal will stay on earth for forty years. A year will be like a month, a month will be like a week, a week will be like a day, and a day will be like the burning of a palm leaf in fire."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "Shall I not inform you about your best ones?" They said, "Yes, please do." He said, "Your best ones are those that, when seen, remind you of Allah the Exalted." The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) then said, "Shall I not inform you about your worst ones?" They said, "Yes, please do." He said, "Your worst ones are the troublemakers among the people, who walk around spreading gossip, causing discord between loved ones, innocent of any wrongdoing."
[Machine] "Anas, the son of Yazeed, narrated that Asma, the daughter of Yazeed, used to serve the Prophet ﷺ . Anas said, 'While I was with him, my aunt came to him. She started asking him questions, and she was wearing two golden bracelets. The Prophet ﷺ said to her, 'Would you like to have two bracelets of fire on you?' She replied, 'O my aunt, I only mean these two bracelets of mine.' She then took them off and threw them. She said, 'O Prophet of Allah, when they stop wearing them before their husbands, they rust.' The Prophet ﷺ laughed and said, 'Can't one of you make a necklace of silver and a nose ring of silver and then color them with saffron so that it looks as if they are made of gold? Indeed, whoever adorns themselves with the weight of a grain of gold or even a burnt twig using it for adornment, they will be wearing it on the Day of Resurrection."
