[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Lying is not permissible except in three cases: a man lying to his wife to make her pleased with him, lying in war as war is deception, or lying for the sake of reconciling between people."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لَا يَصْلُحُ الْكَذِبُ إِلَّا فِي ثَلَاثٍ كَذِبُ الرَّجُلِ مَعَ امْرَأَتِهِ لِتَرْضَى عَنْهُ أَوْ كَذِبٌ فِي الْحَرْبِ فَإِنَّ الْحَرْبَ خَدْعَةٌ أَوْ كَذِبٌ فِي إِصْلَاحٍ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ
