The Prophet said: "The rider is to be behind the funeral (procession), and the walker where he wishes, and the child should be prayed over."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجَنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي حَيْثُ شَاءَ مِنْهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ

"The Messenger of Allah said: The riders should move behind the Janazah and the pedestrian may walk wherever he wishes, and the (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child."'

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجَنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي حَيْثُ شَاءَ مِنْهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ

"The Messenger of Allah said: "The rider should travel behind the Janazah and the pedestrian may travel wherever he wishes, and the (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child."'

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجَنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي حَيْثُ شَاءَ مِنْهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ

the Messenger of Allah said: "The rider should move behind the Janazah and the pedestrian may walk wherever he wishes, and the (funeral) prayer should be offered for a child."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجَنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي حَيْثُ شَاءَ مِنْهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no protection except in Allah and His Messenger."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited wearing face veils and said, "There is no protection except from Allah and His Messenger."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ حَمَى النَّقِيعَ وَقَالَ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] The translation of the passage into English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَا حِمَى إِلَّالِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is no protection except for Allah and His Messenger."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no protection except for Allah and His Messenger."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَحَادِيثَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] And I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is no protection except for Allah and His Messenger."

وَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no protection except with Allah and His Messenger."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّاكِبُخَلْفَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي حَيْثُ شَاءَ مِنْهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي حَيْثُ شَاءَ مِنْهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Sa'id from Sulayman ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands in the prayer.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ

Yahya said, "Malik related to us from Ibn Shihab from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The pledge given as security is not forfeited.' " Malik said, "The explanation of that according to what we think - and Allah knows best - is that a man gives a pledge to somebody in security for something. The pledge is superior to that for which he pawned it. The pledger says to the pawn-broker, 'I will bring you your due, after such-and-such a time. If not, the pledge is yours for what it was pawned for.' " Malik said, "This transaction is not good and it is not halal. This is what was forbidden. If the owner brings what he pledged it for after the period, it is his. I think that the time condition is void."

أنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قالَ: «لا يَغْلَقُ الرَّهْنُ» -[٧٢٩]- قالَ مالِكٌ: «وتَفْسِيرُ ذَلِكَ فِيما نُرى، واللَّهُ أعْلَمُ، أنْ يَرْهَنَ الرَّجُلُ الرَّهْنَ عِنْدَ الرَّجُلِ بِالشَّيْءِ، وفِي الرَّهْنِ فَضْلٌ عَمّا رُهِنَ بِهِ، فَيَقُولُ الرّاهِنُ لِلْمُرْتَهِنِ: إنْ جِئْتُكَ بِحَقِّكَ، إلى أجَلٍ يُسَمِّيهِ لَهُ، وإلّا فالرَّهْنُ لَكَ بِما رُهِنَ فِيهِ» قالَ: «فَهَذا لا يَصْلُحُ ولا يَحِلُّ، وهَذا الَّذِي نُهِيَ عَنْهُ، وإنْ جاءَ صاحِبُهُ بِالَّذِي رَهَنَ بِهِ بَعْدَ الأجَلِ، فَهُوَ لَهُ، وأُرى هَذا الشَّرْطَ مُنْفَسِخًا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The person who walks in front of the funeral procession, the one who rides behind it, and the child should all pray for the deceased."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْمَاشِي أَمَامَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Allah and His angels bless those who are on the right flanks of the rows. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 676)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى الْمُتَسَحِّرِينَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "There is no protection (defense) except for Allah and His Messenger."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no sanctuary except for Allah and His Messenger."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ»

قَالَ أَبُو ذَرٍّ كَانَتِ الْمُتْعَةُ رُخْصَةً أَعْطَانَاهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَوْ أُعْطِيَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "O Allah, bless my nation in its early morning."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «اللهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "No one is born after one hundred years whom Allah does not have a need for."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يُولَدُ بَعْدَ سَنَةٍ مِائَةُ مَوْلُودٍ لِلَّهِ فِيهِ حَاجَةٌ»

[AI] "I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ before revelation was sent down to him."

«صَحِبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to announce: "Do not throw stones in the jar."

بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أُنَادِي «أَنْ لَا تَنْبِذُوا فِي الْجَرِّ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is no worship except for Allah and His Messenger."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no protection against any illness except with Allah and His Messenger."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no contagious disease except for Allah and His Messenger."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ»

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ said, 'There is no protection except for Allah and His Messenger.'"

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to not make ablution from what was touched by fire.

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَتَوَضَّأُ مِمَّا مَسَّتِ النَّارُ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to not perform ablution from a vessel.

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَا يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ مُوطَأٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wudu (ablution) eliminates what came before it, and then prayer becomes a voluntary act."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوُضُوءُ يُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهُ ثُمَّ تَصِيرُ الصَّلَاةُ نَافِلَةً»

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wudu (ablution) removes (forgives) what came before it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوُضُوءُ يُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهُ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Wudu (ablution) expiates what comes before it."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْوُضُوءُ يُكَفِّرُ مَا قَبْلَهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Oppression through force is prohibited."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «غَبْنُ الْمُسْتَرْسِلِ حَرَامٌ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to perform the Sunnah prayer on his camel.

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُوتِرُ عَلَى بَعِيرِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ camped in Qatif and settled a dispute between its two factions.

«أَمَّنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي قَطِيفَةٍ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهَا»

[AI] "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to dislike yawning during prayer."

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ التَّثَاؤُبَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Do not revert to disbelief after me, striking the necks of one another."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا تَرْجِعُوا بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ»

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Only those who have no character should wear silk in this world."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا يَلْبَسِ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَنْ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Performing two units of prayer (Raka'atan) can expiate every sin."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «تَكْفِيرُ كُلِّ لِحَاءٍ رَكْعَتَانِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, good deeds are only good if done by one who possesses intelligence, religion or patience."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْمَعْرُوفَ لَا يَصْلُحُ إِلَّا لِذِي حَسَبٍ أَوْ دِينٍ أَوْ لِذِي حِلْمٍ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to deliver a sermon on the Day of Sacrifice while riding his mount.

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ عَلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Nothing cuts off the prayer."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ شَيْءٌ»

[AI] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah ﷻ hates for you all forms of unnecessary speech."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ اللهَ ﷻ كَرِهَ لَكُمِ الْبَيَانَ كُلَّ الْبَيَانِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, the arrogant will be in Hellfire."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ الْمُتَشَدِّقِينَ فِي النَّارِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Going to the mosque in the morning and evening is part of striving in the way of Allah."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْغُدُوُّ وَالرَّوَاحُ إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ مِنَ الْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever initiates the greeting of peace, he is more entitled to the grace of Allah and His Messenger."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ بَدَأَ بِالسَّلَامِ فَهُوَ أَوْلَى بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to greet with his right hand and with his left hand.

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Modesty is all goodness."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The rider behind the funeral procession, the one walking close to it, and the child who is praying for it."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺيَقُولُ الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي قَرِيبًا مِنْهَا وَالطِّفْلُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah curse the one who consumes interest and the one who gives it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَعَنَ اللهُ الْمُحَلِّلَ وَالْمُحَلَّلَ لَهُ
