I saw the Messenger of Allah (may peace be open him) pronouncing taslim on his right and on his left till I saw the whiteness of his cheek.

كُنْتُ أَرَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى أَرَى بَيَاضَ خَدِّهِ

Wail b, hujr said that he prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ,and he said Amin loudly and saluted at his right and left sides until I saw the whiteness of his cheek.

أَنَّهُ صَلَّى خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَجَهَرَ بِآمِينَ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ حَتَّى رَأَيْتُ بَيَاضَ خَدِّهِ

The Prophet ﷺ used to give the salutation to his left and right sides until the whiteness of his cheek was seen, (saying: "Peace be upon you, and mercy of Allah" twice. AbuDawud said: This is a version of the tradition reported by AbuSufyan. The version of Isra'il did not explain it. AbuDawud said: This tradition has been narrated by Zubayr from AbuIshaq and Yahya ibn Adam from Isra'il from AbuIshaq from AbdurRahman ibn al-Aswad from his father from Alqamah on the authority of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud. AbuDawud said: Shu'bah used to reject this tradition, the tradition narrated by AbuIshaq as coming from the Prophet ﷺ.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

I offered prayer along with the Prophet ﷺ. He would give the salutation to his right side (saying): Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings; and to his left side (saying): Peace be upon you and mercy of Allah.

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَكَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

Abdullah said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say the Takbir every time he went down and got up, or stood or sat; he said the Salam on his right and his left: 'As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatulah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah ),' until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen." He said: "And I saw Abu Bakr and 'Umar, may Allah (SWT) be pleased with them both, doing the same."

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ خَفْضٍ وَرَفْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ قَالَ وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ يَفْعَلاَنِ ذَلِكَ

That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the taslim to his right and to his left.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ

"I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying the takir every time he went down or came up, or stood or sat, and he said the salam to his right and to his left: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen . And I saw Abu Bakr and 'Umar, may Allah (WT) be pleased with them, doing likewise."

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ خَفْضٍ وَرَفْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ ؓ يَفْعَلاَنِ ذَلِكَ

He asked 'Abdullah bin 'Umar about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: "Allahu Akbar" every time he went down and "Allahu Akbar" every time he came up, then he said: "As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) to his right and: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) to his left."

عَنْ صَلاَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كُلَّمَا وَضَعَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ كُلَّمَا رَفَعَ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said: "It is as if I can see the whiteness of his cheek, saying to his right: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) and to his left: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah)." (Sahih

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِ خَدِّهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the salam to his right so that the whiteness of his cheek could be seen, and to his left so that the whiteness of his cheek could be seen."

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ

The Prophet ﷺ used to say salam to his right and to his left: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen from here, and the whiteness of his cheek from here.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ مِنْ هَا هُنَا وَبَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ مِنْ هَا هُنَا

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say salam to his right:As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) , until the whiteness of his right cheek could be seen, and to his left: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) until the whiteness of his left cheek could be seen.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ الأَيْمَنِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ الأَيْسَرِ

It was narrated from ‘Amir bin Sa’d, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the Salam to his right and to his left.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the Salam to his right and to his left, until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen (saying): ‘As-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah.’”

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the salam to his right so that the whiteness of his cheek could be seen, and to his left so that the whiteness of his cheek could be seen." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1323)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ ثُمَّ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ — and Abu Sa'id said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ — would give salam to his right until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen, and to his left until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen.

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ — وَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ — يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ، وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ.

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to greet by waving his right hand and then his left hand, until the whiteness of his cheeks became visible.

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدَّيْهِ

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ greeting (people) with his right hand and his left hand.

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raising his hands during every ruku' (bowing) and sujood (prostration), and while standing and sitting. He used to make the tasleem (saying of salaam) on his right side and left side, until the whiteness of his cheek or cheeks could be seen. And I saw Abu Bakr and Umar doing the same.

أَنَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ خَفْضٍ وَرَفْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدَّيْهِ أَوْ خَدِّهِ وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَفْعَلَانِ ذَلِكَ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the Salam to his right and to his left, until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen (saying): ‘As-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 916)

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ

“As-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 914)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى يُرَى أَوْ نَرَى بَيَاضَ خَدَّيْهِ

رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ رَفْعٍ وَوَضْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى أَرَى بَيَاضَخَدِّهِ وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَفْعَلَانِ ذَاكَ

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ greeting with his right hand, saying, 'Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah,' until the whiteness on his right cheek became visible. And he would do the same with his left hand."

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ بِمِثْلِ ذَلِكَ

“As-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 914)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the Salam to his right and to his left, until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen (saying): ‘As-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 916)

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ أَيْضًا

[AI] The Messenger of Allahﷺ used to greet in his prayer from his right side and from his left side until the whiteness of his cheeks could be seen.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدَّيْهِ

"I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying the takir every time he went down or came up, or stood or sat, and he said the salam to his right and to his left: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen . أَنَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ رَفْعٍ وَوَضْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ جَانِبُ خَدِّهِ وَرَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ يَفْعَلَانِ ذَلِكَ

[AI] From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he used to salute with his right hand and his left hand until I saw the whiteness of his face, and I have not forgotten after that: "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah."

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ حَتَّى أَرَى بَيَاضَ وَجْهِهِ فَمَا نَسِيتُ بَعْدُ فِيمَا نَسِيتُالسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ

The Prophet ﷺ used to say salam to his right and to his left: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen from here, and the whiteness of his cheek from here. عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ مِنْ هَاهُنَا وَيُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ مِنْ هَاهُنَا

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the Salam to his right and to his left, until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen (saying): ‘As-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 916)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ يَقُولُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ يَقُولُ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ

He asked 'Abdullah bin 'Umar about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: "Allahu Akbar" every time he went down and "Allahu Akbar" every time he came up, then he said: "As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) to his right and: As-salamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) to his left." أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ.

[AI] "He prayed with the Prophet ﷺ and conveyed the greetings of peace twice, one from his right and one from his left."

أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِيمَتَيْنِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to send greetings upon himself in his prayer, on his right side and on his left side, until the whiteness of his cheeks could be seen.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدَّيْهِ

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the salam to his right so that the whiteness of his cheek could be seen, and to his left so that the whiteness of his cheek could be seen." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1323)

كَانَ رَسُولًُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ الْأَيْمَنِ وَبَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ الْأَيْسَرِ

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ used to pray while his head was slightly turned to the right and to the left."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي وَهِيَ مُعْتَرِضَةٌ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ

[AI] Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to wear a head covering.

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُهِلُّ مُلَبِّيًا»

“As-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah (Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 914)

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ»

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say the Salam to his right and to his left, until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen (saying): ‘As-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah, as-salamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 916)

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ»

[AI] I saw the Messenger of Allahﷺ extending his greetings with his right hand and his left hand until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen.

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ»

I offered prayer along with the Prophet ﷺ. He would give the salutation to his right side (saying): Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings; and to his left side (saying): Peace be upon you and mercy of Allah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 997)

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ»

[AI] "What I have not forgotten of things is that I have never forgotten to greet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in prayer, by saying 'Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah, and the mercy of Allah. Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah.' Then he ﷺ said, 'It is as if I am seeing the whiteness of his cheeks.'"

مَا نَسِيتُ مِنَ الْأَشْيَاءِ فَإِنِّي لَمْ أَنَسَ «تَسْلِيمَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ كَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى بَيَاضِ خَدَّيْهِ ﷺ

[AI] "And peace and mercy of Allah be upon his left side."

وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ

[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to forbid speaking ill of the dead.

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْهَى عَنْ سَبِّ الْمَوْتَى»

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ used to give salutations with his right hand."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ تَسْلِيمَةً عَنْ يَمِينِهِ»

[AI] "I used to see the radiance of the Prophet's ﷺ cheeks when he used to turn his face to the right and left to give Salam."

«كُنْتُ أَرَى بَيَاضَ خَدَّيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ»

[AI] I saw the Prophet ﷺ raising his hands and saying the Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) during every lifting, putting down, standing, sitting, and he would greet with the Salam (peace) from his right and left saying, "As-Salamu 'Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi" (peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah) until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen.

أَنَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ رَفْعٍ وَوَضْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَشِمَالِهِ «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ» حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ

[AI] I saw the Prophet (PBUH) raising his hands in every lifting and putting down, while standing and sitting, and he would greet with "peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah" on his right and left until the whiteness of his cheek was visible.

أَنَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ رَفْعٍ وَوَضْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَشِمَالِهِ «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ» حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ

[AI] I saw the Prophet ﷺ raising his hands in every takbeer, standing, sitting, and placing his hands on his sides. He would also say the salaam by moving his right and left hand, saying "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah" until the whiteness of his cheek could be seen.

أَنَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُ فِي كُلِّ رَفْعٍ وَوَضْعٍ وَقِيَامٍ وَقُعُودٍ وَيُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَشِمَالِهِ «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ» حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدِّهِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ used to greet with "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah" on his right side and on his left side.

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ يَسَارِهِ «السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to greet with his right hand and with his left hand.

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ»
