0.8 [Machine] What was the Prophet ﷺ given in terms of grace?

darimi:47Isḥāq b. Ibrāhīm Anbʾanā Yazīd b. Abū Ḥakīm > al-Ḥakam b. Abān > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās > In Allāh Faḍḍal Muḥammad ﷺ > al-Anbiyāʾ ʿLyhm al-Slām And ʿAlá Ahl al-Samāʾ > Ūā Yā Ibn ʿAbbās Bim Faḍḍalah > Ahl al-Samāʾ > In Allāh

[Machine] Indeed, Allah has preferred Muhammad ﷺ over the prophets, peace be upon them, and over the people of the heavens. They said, "O Ibn Abbas, in what way has Allah preferred him over the people of the heavens?" He said, "Indeed, Allah has said to the people of the heavens, 'And whoever says, "Indeed, I am a god other than Him," then that is the retribution for him, Hell. Thus do We recompense the wrongdoers.'" [Surah Al-Anbiya, verse 29] And Allah, the Exalted, has said to Muhammad ﷺ , "Indeed, We have granted you a clear conquest that Allah may forgive for you what preceded of your sin and what will follow." [Surah Al-Fath, verse 2] They said, "So what is his superiority over the prophets, peace be upon them?" He said, "Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has said, 'And We have not sent any messenger except in the language of his people to clarify for them.' [Surah Ibrahim, verse 4] And Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has said to Muhammad ﷺ , 'And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.'" [Surah Saba', verse 28] So, He sent him to the jinn and mankind.

darimi:48ʿUbaydullāh b. ʿAbd al-Majīd > Zamʿah > Salamah > ʿIkrimah > Ibn ʿAbbās

that a group of people from the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat waiting for him. He said: "Then he came out, such that when he came close to them, he heard them talking, and he heard what they were saying. So some of them said: 'It's amazing that Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has taken a Khalil (close friend) from His creation. He took Ibrahim as a Khalil.' And some of them said: 'That is not more amazing than speaking to Musa, He spoke to him with real speech.' And some said: 'And 'Eisa is the word of Allah and His Spirit.' And some said: 'Adam was chosen by Allah.' So he ﷺ came out upon them and said his Salam, and said: 'I have heard your words, and your amazement that Ibrahim is the Khalil of Allah, and he is such, and that Musa is the one spoken to by Allah, and he is such, and that 'Eisa is the spirit of Allah and His Word, and he is such, and that Adam was chosen by Allah, and he is such. Indeed I am the beloved of Allah and I am not boasting, and I am the carrier of the Banner of Praise on the Day of Judgement, and I am not boasting. And I am the first intercessor, and the first to have intercession accepted from him on the Day of Judgement, and I am not boasting. And I am the first to shake the rings of Paradise (meaning on the gates of Paradise) and so Allah will open it for me and admit me into it. And with me will be the poor people from the believers, and I am not boasting. And I am the most noble among the first ones and the last ones, and I am not boasting." [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am the first among them to come out, and I am their leader when they gather. I am their orator when they listen, and I am their intercessor when they are imprisoned. I am their bearer of good news when they feel despair. On that day, the honors and keys will be in my hands. I am the noblest of the children of Adam in the sight of my Lord. Around me, there are a thousand servants, as if they were hidden pearls or scattered pearls."

[Machine] "The Prophet (pbuh) said, 'I am the leader of the messengers, and there is no pride in that. I am the seal of the prophets, and there is no pride in that. I am the first intercessor and the first to be interceded for, and there is no pride in that.'"

darimi:51Muḥammad b. ʿAbbād > Sufyān > Ibn ʿUyaynah > Ibn Judʿān > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'I am the first to knock on the door of Paradise and shake its ring.' Anas said, 'It was as if I could see the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ shaking it.' Sufyan described it to us in this way, and Abu Abdullah gathered his fingers and shook them. Thabit asked him, 'Did the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ touch your hand?' He replied, 'Yes.' Thabit said, 'Then give it to me so that I may kiss it.'"

darimi:52Aḥmad b. ʿAbdullāh > Ḥusayn b. ʿAlī > Zāʾidah > al-Mukhtār b. Fulful > Anas

The Apostle of Allah ﷺ said: I would be the first intercessor in the Paradise and no apostle amongst the apostles has been testified (by such a large number of people) as I have been testified. And verily there woald be an apostle among the apostles who would be testified to by only one man from his people. (Using translation from Muslim 196c)

darimi:53ʿAbdullāh b. Ṣāliḥ > al-Layth > Yazīd > Ibn ʿAbdullāh b. al-Hād > ʿAmr b. Abū ʿAmr > Anas b. Mālik

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, I am the foremost among people whose skulls will split open on the Day of Resurrection, and there will be no pride in that. I will be given the banner of praise, and there will be no pride in that. I am the leader of mankind on the Day of Resurrection, and there will be no pride in that. I am the first to enter Paradise on the Day of Resurrection, and there will be no pride in that. I will come to the gate of Paradise and take hold of its ring, and they will ask, 'Who is this?' I will say, 'I am Muhammad.' So they will open it for me and I will enter, then I will find the All-Mighty facing me. I will prostrate to Him, and He will say, 'Raise your head, O Muhammad, and speak, your voice will be heard; intercede, your intercession will be accepted.' So I will raise my head and say, 'My Ummah, my Ummah, O Lord!' And He will say, 'Go to your Ummah, and whoever among them has an atom's weight of faith in his heart, bring him forth into Paradise.' So I will go and bring forth anyone I find in their heart an atom's weight of faith in them and admit them to Paradise. Then I will return and bring forth anyone I find in their heart an atom's weight of mustard seed of faith in them, and admit them to Paradise. Then I will return and bring forth anyone I find in their heart an atom's weight of faith in them, and admit them to Paradise. Then the reckoning of the people will be concluded, and anyone who remains from my Ummah will be admitted to the Fire along with the people of the Fire. Then the people of the Fire will say, 'What benefit did it bring you that you used to worship Allah and not associate anything with Him?' And the All-Mighty will say, 'By My Might and Majesty, I will indeed bring forth those of them who used to worship Me, and not associate anything with Me.' So He will send for them and they will come out of the Fire, and by that time they will be like burnt seeds, and they will enter the River of Life, and they will grow in it as a seed grows in the silt carried by floodwater. Then they will be recorded as being among the freed slaves of Allah, and He will take them away and admit them to Paradise. Then the people of Paradise will say, 'They are the people who were destined for Hell.' And the All-Mighty will say, 'Rather, they are the freed slaves of the All-Mighty.'"

[Machine] Gabriel ﷺ came down to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , split open his chest, and said, "In his heart is a vessel containing two ears for hearing and two eyes for seeing. Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, upright in character, and your speech is truthful. Your soul is at peace." Abu Muhammad Waki' said, "meaning strong."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Allah has granted me knowledge of the deceased's lifespan and has shortened my lifespan. So we are the last to come and the first to be resurrected on the Day of Judgment. And I say, without boasting, that Ibrahim, the friend of Allah, and Musa, the chosen one of Allah, and I, the beloved of Allah, will be together on the Day of Judgment along with the banner of praise. Indeed, Allah Almighty has promised me regarding my Ummah and has granted them three things: He will not annihilate them with a sudden calamity, He will not allow their enemy to completely overpower them, and He will not gather them on misguidance."
