[Machine] "He said to you all this and if it was someone other than you, I wouldn't have given it to him." Then he said, "Did you do it?" After that, no one was seen buying from the market nor selling, until he met with Allah, the Almighty and the Glorious.
[Machine] And he said, "We have not read the Quran for this reason."
Umar ibn Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said to Abdullah ibn Salam, 'Who are the knowledgeable ones?' He replied, 'Those who act upon what they know.' Umar then asked, 'What removes knowledge from the hearts of men?' Abdullah ibn Salam replied, 'Greed.'
[Machine] "Nothing finds a more beautiful shelter than patience finds in knowledge."
[Machine] "The beauty of knowledge is the patience of its people"
[Machine] "Knowledge is not carried in the same way as a bag of dreams."
[Machine] "The beauty of knowledge is the patience of its people."
[Machine] "Ubaidullah, you have extinguished knowledge and removed its light. If Omar (may Allah be pleased with him) were alive, he would have punished us severely."
[Machine] "Ali, may Allah be pleased with him, said: 'Learn knowledge, and when you have learned it, keep it to yourself, and do not mix it with laughter or play, for it will corrupt the hearts.'"
[Machine] "Whoever laughs a laughter that is complete and full of knowledge."
[Machine] So, what caused knowledge to be removed from the hearts of the scholars? He said, "Greed."
[Machine] "I was going to 'Amr ibn Nu'man when the Messenger of Mus'ab ibn Zubayr came to him. It was during the month of Ramadan, and he had one thousand dirhams with him. The Messenger said, 'Indeed, the commander (Ali) sends you his greetings, and he said, 'We have not left a noble reciter except that we have sent him something good. So, rely on these two (dirhams) for your expenses this month.' He (Mus'ab) said, 'Convey my greetings to the commander, and tell him that by Allah, we have not recited the Qur'an seeking the worldly life and its wealth.'"
