[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited the use of the whip and the slingshot.  

البيهقي:١٧٤٦٦ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْكَعْبِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَحْيَى عَنْ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ؓ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ  

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُسَدَّدٍ وَأَخْرَجَاهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from al-Ala ibn Abd ar-Rahman ibn Yaqub from his father from Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade preparing nabidh in a gourd or in a jug smeared with pitch.
