My father said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise both his hands up to the level of his shoulders when opening the prayer; and on saying the Takbir for bowing. And on raising his head from bowing he used to do the same and then say "Samiʿa l-lahu liman hamidah, Rabbana wa laka l-hamd." And he did not do that (i.e. raising his hands) in prostrations. أحمد:٥٨٤٣حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْعُمَرِيُّ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Sa'id from Sulayman ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands in the prayer.  

مالك:٣-١٩وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ

[Machine] In English, it translates to: "Verily, the Prophet ﷺ used to raise his hands parallel to his shoulders when saying the takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar) and when initiating the prayer, as well as when going into ruku' (bowing) and when going into sujud (prostration)."
