When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began his prayer, he raised his hands extensively. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 753)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَدًّا
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began his prayer, he raised his hands extensively. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 753)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَدًّا
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began his prayer, he raised his hands extensively.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَدًّا
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Sa'id from Sulayman ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands in the prayer.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ
[Machine] The translation of the passage is: "The prophet ﷺ used to raise his hands in a gesture when he stood up for prayer."
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ يَعْنِي إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَدًّا
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to raise his hands when he said the takbeer in prayer, until his hands were level with his ears.
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ «إِذَا كَبَّرَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا أُذُنَيْهِ»
