It was narrated from Muhammad bin ‘Ubaidullah bin Abu Rafi’, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to come to ‘Eid prayers walking.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي الْعِيدَ مَاشِيًا
It was narrated from Muhammad bin ‘Ubaidullah bin Abu Rafi’, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to come to ‘Eid prayers walking.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي الْعِيدَ مَاشِيًا
Ibn Umar reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited (the mosque) at Quba' riding and on foot.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَزُورُ قُبَاءً رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا
Ibn 'Umar reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to Quba' riding as well as on foot.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءً رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا
Abdullah b. Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to come to Quba' riding and on foot
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءً رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا
Ibn 'Umar had narrated this hadith through another chain of transmitters.
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْتِي قُبَاءً رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began his prayer, he raised his hands extensively.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَدًّا
Nafi' said: Ibn Umar used to lengthen his prayer before the Friday prayer and would offer two rak'ahs after it in his house. He used to say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would do that.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ
Nafi’ said “Ibn ‘Umar used to nap for a short while at Batha’ (i.e, Al Muhassab) and then enter Makkah.” He thought that Apostle of Allaah ﷺ used to do so.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ
Ibn ‘Umar said “The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ used to visit Quba on foot and riding. Ibn Numair added “and he used to offer two rak’ahs of prayer.”
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءً مَاشِيًا وَرَاكِبًا زَادَ ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ وَيُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ
Zaid b. Arqam used to utter four takbirs (Allah is Most Great) over our dead person (during prayer). He uttered five takbirs on a dead person. So I asked him. He replied: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to utter those. Abu Dawud said: I remember the tradition of Ibn al-Muthanna in a more guarded way.
كَانَ زَيْدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَرْقَمَ يُكَبِّرُ عَلَى جَنَائِزِنَا أَرْبَعًا وَإِنَّهُ كَبَّرَ عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ خَمْسًا فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُهَا
"Zaid bin Arqam would say four Takbir for our funerals. (Once) he said five Takbir for a funeral so we asked him about that and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah would say those Takbir.'"
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُهَا
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to come to Quba' riding and walking." [1] Quba' is about three miles to the south of the Prophet's Masjid. This area is named after in that district.
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْتِي قُبَاءً رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed he would Jakhkha.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ إِذَا صَلَّى جَخَّى
Abdulla bin Umar used to walk rapidly for three (rounds), and walk for four, and he said that the Messenger of Allah used to do that.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands at every Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar).
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ عِنْدَ كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ
It was narrated from Anas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands when he entered prayer, and when he bowed in Ruku’.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلاَةِ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ
It was narrated from Ubayy bin Ka’b that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray Witr and he would recite Qunut before Ruku’.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُوتِرُ فَيَقْنُتُ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ
“Zaid bin Arqan used to say the Takbir four times in the funeral prayer, and he said the Takbir five times for one funeral. I asked him (about that) and he said: ‘The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do that.’”
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُهَا
[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands (in supplication) whenever he stood up for prayer."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَمْ يَكُنْ يَقُومُ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ إِلَّا رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ مَدًّا»
It was narrated from ʿAli ؓ that The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray at the time of the forenoon (duha).
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ الضُّحَى
[AI] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to visit it either riding or walking, meaning the Quba Mosque.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَزُورُهُ رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا يَعْنِي مَسْجِدَ قُبَاءَ
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to come to Quba' riding and walking." [1] Quba' is about three miles to the south of the Prophet's Masjid. This area is named after in that district. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 698)

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْتِي مَسْجِدَ قُبَاءَ رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا
The Prophet ﷺ used to go to the Quba' mosque, sometimes walking, sometimes riding. (Using translation from Bukhārī 7326)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءَ رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا
My father said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise both his hands up to the level of his shoulders when opening the prayer; and on saying the Takbir for bowing. And on raising his head from bowing he used to do the same and then say "Samiʿa l-lahu liman hamidah, Rabbana wa laka l-hamd." And he did not do that (i.e. raising his hands) in prostrations. أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ حَذْوَ مَنْكِبَيْهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءَ رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا
[AI] The translation of the given Arabic phrase is: "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed Witr prayer while he was riding."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَوْتَرَ وَهُوَ رَاكِبٌ
Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the mosque at Quba' riding and on foot, and he observed two rak'ahs of (Nafl prayer) in it. (Using translation from Muslim 1399b)

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be the most lenient of people in prayer.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ تَخْفِيفًا فِي الصَّلَاةِ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Yahya ibn Sa'id from Sulayman ibn Yasar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands in the prayer.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ
Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to go to Quba (to pray), he would walk as well as ride.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءً رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا
Nafi' said: Ibn Umar used to lengthen his prayer before the Friday prayer and would offer two rak'ahs after it in his house. He used to say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would do that. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1128)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ»
[AI] The translation in English is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to frequently go to Quba, whether on foot or riding."
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُكْثِرُ الِاخْتِلَافَ إِلَى قُبَاءَ مَاشِيًا وَرَاكِبًا»
The Prophet ﷺ used to go to the Quba' mosque, sometimes walking, sometimes riding. (Using translation from Bukhārī 7326)
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءَ رَاكِبًا وَمَاشِيًا»
[AI] He heard Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to come to Quba walking and riding."
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْتِي قُبَاءَ مَاشِيًا وَرَاكِبًا»
[AI] That Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him used to visit Quba every Saturday.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْتِي قُبَاءَ كُلَّ يَوْمِ سَبْتٍ
[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to spread his fingers during prayer."
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَنْشُرُ أَصَابِعَهُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ نَشْرًا»
[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to gesture during prayer."
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُشِيرُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ»
Nafi' said: Ibn Umar used to lengthen his prayer before the Friday prayer and would offer two rak'ahs after it in his house. He used to say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would do that. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1128)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ»
[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to separate between the two prostrations in prayer and the odd units."
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَ الشَّفْعِ وَالْوِتْرِ»
Nafi' said: Ibn Umar used to lengthen his prayer before the Friday prayer and would offer two rak'ahs after it in his house. He used to say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would do that. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1128)
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ»
[AI] "That the messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be called Abu Salih."
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَنَّاهُ أَبَا صَالِحٍ»
“Zaid bin Arqan used to say the Takbir four times in the funeral prayer, and he said the Takbir five times for one funeral. I asked him (about that) and he said: ‘The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do that.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1505)
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُكَبِّرُهَا»
[AI] "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to dislike yawning during prayer."
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَكْرَهُ التَّثَاؤُبَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ»
[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to place his right hand over his left hand during prayer."
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى الْيُسْرَى فِي الصَّلَاةِ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to place his hands between his knees in prayer.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُدْخِلُ يَدَيْهِ بَيْنَ رُكْبَتَيْهِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to raise his hands at every Takbir (saying Allahu Akbar) in the obligatory prayer.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 861)
«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ مَعَ كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَةٍ فِي الصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ»
[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to place one of his hands on top of the other during prayer.
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَضَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى فِي الصَّلَاةِ»
