It was narrated from Ubayy bin Ka’b that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray Witr and he would recite Qunut before Ruku’.  

ابن ماجة:١١٨٢ – حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَخْلَدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ الْيَامِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُوتِرُ فَيَقْنُتُ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ

ibnmajah:1183 – Naṣr b. ʿAlī al-Jahḍamī > Sahl b. Yūsuf > Ḥumayd > Anas b. Mālik > Suʾil

He was asked about Qunut in the Subh prayer, and he said: “We used to recite Qunut before Ruku’ and afterwards.”  

ابن ماجة:١١٨٣ – حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْقُنُوتِ فِي صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ فَقَالَ

كُنَّا نَقْنُتُ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ وَبَعْدَهُ  

malik:9-79 – Mālik > Nāfiʿ > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Abdullah ibn Umar that when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to go to Quba (to pray), he would walk as well as ride.  

مالك:٩-٧٩ – وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ
