ahmad:23462Muṣʿab b. Sallām > al-Ajlaḥ > Qays b. Abū Muslim > Ribʿī b. Ḥirāsh > Ḥudhayfah

[Machine] I heard Hudhaifa say that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , narrated to us parables in the amounts of one, three, five, seven, nine, and eleven. He said, "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , gave us a parable of one of them and left the rest." He said, "There were people who were weak and oppressed, and they were fought and harmed by people who were strong and aggressive. So Allah revealed the people of weakness to them, and they sought help from their enemies, and they became dominant over them, which made Allah angry with them until the day they face Him."

ahmad:23463Muṣʿab b. Sallām > al-Ajlaḥ > Nuʿaym b. Abū Hind > Ribʿī b. Ḥirāsh > Jalast > Ḥudhayfah b. al-Yamān > Abū Masʿūd al-Anṣārī > Aḥaduhumā Lilākhar Ḥaddith Mā

[Machine] I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "No, rather you should narrate it, for one of you may narrate it and the other may verify it." He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'A man will be brought forth on the Day of Resurrection and Allah will say: 'Look at his deeds.' So he will say: 'O Lord, what was I doing that was not good, except that I had wealth and I used to mix with people. So whoever was in need, I made things easy for him, and whoever was in hardship, I gave him respite.' Allah will say: 'I am more entitled than him to make things easy for him.' So He will forgive him. He said: 'You have spoken the truth.' I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying this. Then he said: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'A man will be brought forth on the Day of Resurrection, who said to his family: 'When I die, burn me, then grind me up, then scatter my ashes in a gale-force wind.' So Allah will gather him together on the Day of Resurrection and say to him: 'Why did you do that?' He will say: 'Out of fear of You.' He will say: 'I forgive you.' I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying this.'"

He said, 'These things are for them in this worldly life, and for you in the Hereafter.'"

He said, "˹Similarly,˺ Allah has made your lives and and your wealth sacred between you" – he said: and I don't know whether or not he said "your honor", "just like the sanctity of this day of yours, in this month of yours, in this city of yours. [Machine] A man from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ told me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us on a reddish-green camel and said, "Do you know which day is this day of yours?" We said, "It is the day of sacrifice." He said, "You have spoken the truth. It is indeed the greatest day of Hajj. Do you know which month is this month of yours?" We said, "It is the month of Dhul-Hijjah." He said, "You have spoken the truth. It is indeed the sacred month of Allah. Do you know which city is this city of yours?" We said, "It is the Sacred Mosque." He said, "You have spoken the truth. Indeed, your blood and your wealth are sacred to you, just as the sanctity of this day, in this month, and in this city. Behold, I will be the first among you at the Pool, and I will see you there. I will have a great number of followers among the nations, so do not let me down. Behold, you have seen me and heard from me, and you will be asked about me. Whoever lies about me, let him take his place in the Hellfire. Behold, I will be a witness for some men or people who are sinners, and others will be saved from me. I will say, 'O Lord, these were my companions,' and it will be said, 'Indeed, you do not know what they innovated after you.'"

Are you the secret of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ?" Abu Ayoub replied, "Leave the man, and I will inform you about the secret of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , as I think. Actually, it is as certain as I am.
