“A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, teach me but make it concise.’ He said: ‘When you stand to pray, pray like a man bidding farewell. Do not say anything for which you will have to apologize. And give up hope for what other people have.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4171)
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ عِظْنِي وَأَوْجِزْ فَقَالَ إِذَا قُمْتَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ فَصَلِّ صَلَاةَ مُوَدِّعٍ وَلَا تَكَلَّمْ بِكَلَامٍ تَعْتَذِرُ مِنْهُ غَدًا وَاجْمَعِ الْإِيَاسَ مِمَّا فِي يَدَيِ النَّاسِ
