[Machine] The Prophet, ﷺ , said, "By Allah, Allah has more power over you than you have over Him." The man said, "O Prophet of Allah, I have freed him for the sake of Allah."
[Machine] "He said: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him for something. The Prophet ﷺ said: I do not have what you are asking for, but go to so-and-so. So the man went to him and he gave it to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever directs someone to do good, he will have the reward of the doer of that good."
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to us in the Majlis of Sa'd bin 'Ubadah and Bashir bin Sa'd said to him: 'Allah has commanded us to send Salah upon you, O Messenger of Allah; so how should we send salah upon you?' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent until we wished that he had not asked him. Then he said: 'Say: 'Alahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala ali Muhammad, kama sallaita 'ala Ibrahima wa barik 'ala Muhammad kama barakta 'ala ali Ibrahim fil-'alamin, innaka hamidun majid (O Allah, send salah upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent salah upon the family of Ibrahim, and send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad as You sent blessings upon the family of Ibrahim among the nations. You are indeed Worthy of praise, Full of glory.)" And the salam is as you know.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1285)
[Machine] "What is this, O Mughira? Did you not know that Jibril descended and prayed, and then the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) prayed, and then Jibril said, 'I have been commanded with this?'"
So Umar said to Urwah ibn Zubayr, "Do you know what you are saying, O Urwah? Is it that Jibril himself establishes the prayer time for the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him)?"
Urwah said, "That is how Bashir ibn Abi Mas'ood used to narrate from his father."
[Machine] While I was beating a slave of mine, a man called out to me from behind, saying: "Ibn Mas'ud, have fear of Allah! Have fear of Allah!" So I turned around and behold, it was the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He said, "By Allah, Allah is more capable of overpowering you than you are of overpowering this slave." I swore that I would never beat a slave of mine again.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the Quraysh, "This matter will always remain among you as long as you fulfill its responsibilities. But when you neglect the duties, Allah will bring upon you the worst of His creation. Then He will not remove it from you until you return to fulfilling your obligations, just as a stick is used to remove filth."
"On the Day of Resurrection seven hundred bridled camels will come to you." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3187)
[Machine] I heard Abu Amr Al-Shaybani mention it and did not doubt it. He said, "You will come."
[Machine] We entered upon Abu Masood Al-Ansari and asked him about the prayer. He said, "Should I not pray with you as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray?" He stood up, said the Takbeer, and raised his hands. Then, he bowed and placed his hands on his knees, with space between his arms and sides. He said, "Then, he stood until everything settled (became still) from him. Then, he prostrated, placing his hands and fingers curved to the ground, with space between his arms and sides. Then, he raised his head until everything settled (became still) from him. Then, he prayed four units (rak'ahs) like this."
[Machine] "And Shadhan also mentioned the narration of the evidence a person provides for good deeds like the one who actually does them."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to the Quraysh, "Verily, this matter will continue among you as long as you adhere to it and do not introduce anything new. But when you do so, Allah will unleash the worst of His creation upon you, so you will be debased just as a stick is debased."
12.43 [Machine] And from the hadith of Thawban
Prophet's ﷺ most beloved verse in Quran
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'What I love the more than this world what is in it is the āyah: "Say, O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."' (Zumar 39:53) A man then said: And what about the one who did shirk? The Prophet ﷺ was quiet and then said, "Except for the one who did shirk, except for the one who did shirk" three times.
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on a journey, the last member of his family he saw was Fatimah, and the first he visited on his return was Fatimah. Once when he returned from an expedition she had hung up a hair-cloth, or a curtain, at her door, and adorned al-Hasan and al-Husayn with silver bracelets. So when he arrived, he did not enter. Thinking that he had been prevented from entering by what he had seen, she tore down the curtain, unfastened the bracelets from the boys and cut them off. They went weeping to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and when he had taken them from them, he said: Take this to so and so's family. Thawban. In Medina, these are my family, and I did not like them to enjoy their good things in the present life. Buy Fatimah a necklace or asb, Thawban, and two ivory bracelets. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4213)
[Machine] On the authority of Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during one of his journeys, "Verily, we are going downhill, so Mosaib (a companion) and Muzadif (another companion) should not go downhill." However, a man on his camel went downhill and fell, and his thigh was pierced, resulting in his death. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered people to pray for him, then he ordered the announcer to call out to the people: "Verily, Paradise is not permissible for an insolent person, it is not permissible for an insolent person three times."
Messenger of Allah said: "When Messenger of Allah wanted to turn from his Salat, he would seek forgiveness from Allah three times, then say: (Allahumma Antas-Salam, wa minkas-salam, tabarakta ya dhal-jalali wal-Ikram) 'O Allah! You are the One free of defects and perfection is from You. Blessed are You, O Possesor of Majesty and Honor.'" (Using translation from Tirmidhī 300)
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever guarantees me one thing, I will guarantee him Paradise." Thawban said, "I asked him, 'Should I ask people for anything?' He replied, 'Yes.' Therefore, Thawban never asked anyone for anything."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Indeed, my pond extends from Aden to 'Amman al-Balqa. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. Its cups are as numerous as the stars. Whoever drinks from it will never be thirsty again. The first to drink from it will be the needy of the immigrants." 'Umar ibn al-Khattab asked, "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He ﷺ said, "They are the ones with disheveled hair, dirty garments. They do not marry refined women and the doors of the rich are not opened for them." 'Umar ibn 'Abdul Aziz said, "I have indeed married refined women and the doors of the rich have been opened for me, except that Allah have mercy on me. By Allah, I will not oil my hair until it becomes disheveled, nor will I wash my clothes that are next to my body until they become dirty."
[Machine] On the authority of Thawban, the servant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever kills a small or large creature, burns a palm tree, cuts down a fruitful tree, or slaughters a sheep for something other than its meat, will not return with enough provision (on the Day of Judgment)."
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ : "Whoever dies without associating partners with Allah, without having any debts, and without holding any grudges, will enter Paradise."
[Machine] We narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said, "You all lie against me." And he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'There is no Muslim who prostrates to Allah in a prostration except that Allah raises him in rank and removes a sin from him with it.'
[Machine] Thawban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The person who uses a tooth-stick (miswak) and performs cupping (hijama) has broken his fast."
[Machine] Narrated from the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , vomit then break his fast."
