I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: The official who collects sadaqah (zakat) in a just manner is like him who fights in Allah's path till he returns home. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2936)

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the thing I fear most for you is minor polytheism." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is minor polytheism?" He said, "Showing off. It is said to someone who does it when people praise their actions, 'Go to those whom you sought to impress and seek their praise from them.'"
[Machine] Ibn 'Umar used to rent out his farms during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, 'Umar, 'Uthman, and Sadr during the reign of Mu'awiyah. Then a man came to him and said, "Rafi' ibn Khadij claims that the Prophet ﷺ forbade renting out farms." Nafi' said, "So Ibn 'Umar went to Rafi' and I went with him. Ibn 'Umar asked Rafi', 'What have you heard about renting out farms from the Prophet ﷺ?' Rafi' replied, 'Yes, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade renting out farms.' After that, whenever Abdullah was asked about renting out farms, he would say, 'Rafi' ibn Khadij claims that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade it.'"
[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ used to prohibit leasing farmland. Ibn Umar left it (i.e., stopped leasing farmland), and whenever he was asked about it, he would say that Rafi' claimed that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited it."

He said: 'We used to lease our land before we came to know Rafi'.' Then he (Ibn 'Umar) became unsure, so he put his hand on my shoulder and we went to Rafi'. 'Abdullah said to him: 'Did you hear the Prophet forbid leasing land?' Rafi' said: 'I heard the Prophet say: Do not lease land in return for anything.'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 3915)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not prohibit renting out the land for gold or silver, but rather we used to rent it and then cultivate it. We would have this share and they would have that share. So whatever Allah ﷻ brings forth from this land, it belongs to this share, and whatever Allah ﷻ brings forth from that land, it belongs to that share. He prohibited us from doing that.

The owner of the necklace came out seeking his necklace, and he took it. Marwan ibn al-Hakam prepared to punish the thief by cutting off his hand. The master of the slave went to Rafa' ibn Khadij and asked him about that. He informed him that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is no cutting off in terms of fruit and produce."
