11. Chapter of Rā (Male)
[Machine] "And Ya'la bin Khamisi or Sutasi said in the Farewell Pilgrimage, 'When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the people while riding on a white mule and Ali bin Abi Talib was interpreting for him, I was sitting and some people were standing. Then my father (Abu Talib) sat down and I squeezed through the crowd until I reached the mule. I held its reins and placed my hand on its knee, wiping it until I reached its foot. Then I put my palm between the shoe and the foot, and I felt the coolness of his feet on my hand.' And the wording is from the narration of Al-Umawi."
I was a boy. I used to throw stones at the palm-trees of the Ansar. So I was brought to the Prophet ﷺ who said: O boy, why do you throw stones at the palm-trees? I said: eat (dates). He said: Do not throw stones at the palm trees, but eat what falls beneath them. He then wiped his head and said: O Allah, fill his belly. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2622)
"I was throwing stones at a date-palm belonging to some of the Ansar. They took me along with them to the Prophet ﷺ. He said: "O Rafi'! Why were you throwing stones at their date-palm?'" He said: "I said: 'Out of hunger, O Messenger of Allah! He said: 'Do not throw stones at them, eat what falls. May Allah fill you and quench your thirst.'" This Hadith is Hasan Gharib Sahih. (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1288)
