[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated, and Bakr ibn Sahl al-Dimyati narrated to us, and Abdullah ibn Yusuf narrated to us, all of them from Malik, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Habban, that a person stole a necklace from a man's wall and placed it in his own wall. The owner of the necklace came out seeking his necklace, and he took it. Marwan ibn al-Hakam prepared to punish the thief by cutting off his hand. The master of the slave went to Rafa' ibn Khadij and asked him about that. He informed him that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "There is no cutting off in terms of fruit and produce."
