[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not prohibit renting out the land for gold or silver, but rather we used to rent it and then cultivate it. We would have this share and they would have that share. So whatever Allah ﷻ brings forth from this land, it belongs to this share, and whatever Allah ﷻ brings forth from that land, it belongs to that share. He prohibited us from doing that.  

الطبراني:٤٣٣٨حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنِي حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الزُّرَقِيُّ عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ

«لَمْ يَنْهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ كِرَائِهَا يَعْنِي الْأَرْضَ بِالذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ وَلَكِنَّا كُنَّا نُكْرِيهَا ثُمَّ نَزْرَعُ وَيَكُونُ لَنَا هَذَا الشِّقُّ وَلَهُمْ هَذَا الشِّقُّ فَمَا أَخْرَجَ اللهُ ﷻ مِنْ هَذَا فَلِهَذَا وَمَا أَخْرَجَ اللهُ ﷻ مِنْ هَذَا لِهَذَا فَنَهَانَا عَنْ ذَلِكَ»
